"This is a gorgeous boutique hotel -- it felt like an oasis to us. The rooms are very spacious and many of them are their own little bungalow. The hotel was clearly set up by someone who had passion for this; the detailing and decorations are very tasteful. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. When the main ferry service had terrible delays due to an incident, the manager, Mey, chartered a boat for us and arranged for a car in Bali to get us to our destination. "Nusa Bay is an unforgettable location and stay. Take the snorkelling or diving excursions to the reef - an absolute highlight with great guides like Lik Putu. Highly recommend the trip to get to Nusa Bay to see a lot of Bali. If you have a driver, ask for stops at waterfalls and traditional coffee and tea makers to experience more of the mountains between Ubud and West Bali National Park. "Amazing service. Manager took me and some others on a wonderful trip to Mt Ijen at the best price. The manager also helped me find a fantastic deal on another trip later on in my travels once I had left Banyuwangi. The homestay is a very good price and there is a high street around the corner. 1 minute walk from the main train station and a few minutes to the ferry port by bus."

"Had a great stay here, restaurant is closed so set out for food. There was a tasty food stand outside and found a good restaurant across the street - local eats nothing fancy but good. Pool was nice and there are tables around to spend time in. The front desk gave us a number of a contact for Ijen crater which turned out great. Not far to ferry to Bali. SOme bugs in the room but it comes with the territory. We had to keep toilet seat closed at all times though because it always had ants inside...

"The Menjangan is a beautiful resort in the West Bali Barat National Park. It is spread out over a large area with open top mini buses traveling between the various parts available at any time on request. Our poolside room was large and beautifully styled. The two restaurants offer lovely meals and the staff are super polite and friendly. The number of rooms and guests is relatively small so it is never crowded.
