2025 Family Vacay

This property was everything we expected. The in-house chef with breakfast every morning was amazing. It was such a treat! She stays in her own place and you don't even notice she's there but she appears with a wonderful breakfast at your preferred time. We even paid extra for her to make dinner the night we arrived which was absolutely delicious. The ocean view here has spoiled me. You can also see it from 3 of the bedrooms. The only thing we wished for was access to the beach from this property. There is a big cliff with large rocks so you have to go down the road a bit to get down to the ocean. We used the pool every day. The air-conditioned bedrooms were fabulous for those hot days. The house also has backup power for times the electricity went out which was very convenient. The host was very communicative and responsive. We could not have asked for a better stay! Highly recommend. You won't be disappointed

Awesome experience!

The villa is amazing. Well designed, beautifully decorated, clean as a whistle. Plenty of space to lounge outside and enjoy the pool and wonderful breakfasts and dinners, plenty of bedrooms for our family's 4 groups (11 people). Terrific view to see waves crash on the rocks. But most of all, Sonia and her staff were incredible. So helpful, always pleasant, so efficient and professional, and wonderful, I mean wonderful cooks. The nearby beaches are fantastic...Playa Carrillo for lounging under the palm trees, Playa Samara for kids surfing and plenty of restaurants. Anggie, our property manager was always timely and so helpful with our planning. We had two rental SUVs delivered to the villa and that service was perfect, as was the services of Didi and Pierre, our concierges. All in all, we unanimously agree this was the trip of a lifetime.

Amazing House!

Group of 8 friends and we had an absolutely amazing time! The house if beautiful, communication with the host, concierge and Sonia was an absolute breeze. Can't wait to go back!

A little slice of heaven

Beautiful property with a view that is unbelievable. Pictures do not do it justice. Not a property or anyone else in the sight line. A little off the beaten path but totally worth it.

Beautiful home

Our family's first time to Costa Rica. We loved this home and the location. Beach is short drive away if you want to swim. Can not say enough wonderful things about the caretaker- Sonja. Excellent cook and lovely person.

Views are lovely!

We traveled down for a business meeting and got away to this house at the beach for a few days. Lovely! I wish the beach was a little easier to access- its a short hike. Driving from the main city was an adventure :) Thank you we loved it!

3 Weeks in Costa Rica

We stayed for 3 weeks with our family in this beautiful house. The house was well equipped and the daily maid service along with daily chef was absolutely amazing and made this a very relaxing and enjoyable vacation for all of us.

Fantastic Family Villa!

The prior reviews gave good insight. Great coastal view and Playa Carillo is a 5 minute drive. We made a trip to the beach every morning with the kids to start the day, home to Zonia's amazing and gorgeous breakfast and then right to the pool. We basically lived on the terrace for the week but appreciated the air conditioned rooms at night. Sonia made several dinners for us and all were delicious! We appreciated Zonia, Roidi and Alessandra who all made us feel welcome with their hospitality. The owners checked in with us and all went smoothly. Thanks for a memorable family vacation! This villa worked perfectly for all 7 of us.

Beautiful home

The house was beautiful. Clean. Open spaces. Amazing service and care from the woman who lives there. She made the best dinner we had during our entire trip. If I had to do it over I may pay her to cook 4 out of 5 nights! The view was perfect. The last day we had 7 howler monkeys in the trees!! Our college and high school age kids were so excited. The owners hired a concierge to help us book adventures and dinners. This was a HUGE help. He was kind and attentive. We walked down to the water from the house which was a bit of a hike but SO worth it. Gorgeous. I would definitely recommend this house and all the wonderful people and views that went with it.

Perfect Getaway Home

This VRBO rental is exactly as described in the listing and pictures and actually more beautiful in person. The accommodations were perfect for a group of 10. The grounds were kept in great condition, the house staff was friendly and timely with daily cleaning and food service. The chef prepared meals were served on-time, hot and very delicious. The location is perfect for having a private exercise or yoga session outside overlooking the beach. The pool was refreshing and much needed to cool down in the heat. The house is located close to Samara where we enjoyed bars/restaurants and the beach. The concierge service was very responsive to all of our requests and did an exceptional job coordinated our car service, jungle ATV tour, day tour in Rincon and more! This house and the service is 5 stars!!!

Nice property

While my family and I did have a wonderful week at this property, there are definitely some things that I feel should be mentioned. To be clear the only air-conditioned spaces in this property are the bedrooms. The main house is not air-conditioned. The house also has a bit of an odd layout as there is only one small bedroom located downstairs that also doubles as a TV room. There is only 1 tv located in the entire home and it is in this room. If you have anybody that cannot do a big staircase, they are restricted to the downstairs level. All the bedrooms are big and spacious and air-conditioned. The main house is not which makes it quite hot. Every time it rains, the electricity in the house goes out for a period of time. Since this house is somewhat operated on Solar it is hard to tell if the issue is actually the weather or the home. Sonia, the housekeeper who lives downstairs is very nice. You will see her periodically throughout your stay as well as different people that come and go on the property. As I mentioned, the house itself is beautiful with lots of space for everybody to enjoy. The infinity pool is fantastic with great views of the ocean. There are quite a lot of bugs that you have to deal with throughout your stay as the only way to get any form of airflow downstairs is to open the screen doors, many of which have holes in the screens. The property is located at the end of a very long, unpaved road so I would definitely suggest having a four-wheel-drive car.

Relaxing Week with Amazing Cuisine

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful home in Costa Rica. The home was beautiful, secluded, and peaceful despite the construction on both sides of the home. The onsite caretaker and chef, Sonia, was amazing! I cannot rave enough about the incredible food that was provided to us during our stay. From breakfast to dinner, every dish was absolutely delicious and made with the freshest ingredients. It truly made our vacation feel like a luxurious and personalized experience. If you enjoy bird watching, there were lots of species to watch from the porch. A bonus to the house was Nagra, Sonia's beautiful dog! I would highly recommend this VRBO to anyone looking for a relaxing and delicious getaway in Costa Rica.

Perfect jungle oasis

The property is even better in person. The house manager Zonia, was very responsive and very helpful. We had no complaints about the delicious breakfast she prepared daily. We stayed with 6 adults in the house and 3 additional adults that visited daily. We were all VERY comfortable on the property together. The villa is located off the main roads and does require a 4x4 vehicle to safely manage the roads. I would suggest renting an off road SUV so that you can come and go as you please. The internet works inside the house but there is no reception in the mountains near the house. If you use taxi service they can not call or text you when they are outside of the gate due to no service. To be honest, there is nothing the property can do about no service in the mountains so I truly give this property 5 out of 5.

Beautiful Home with Spectacular Ocean View

This is one of the most beautiful homes we've ever rented. We loved being so close to the ocean and waking up to the sound of the crashing waves. Sonia was wonderful and made delicious breakfasts each morning--her smoothies were better than any we bought on our trip. We were a group of two families with a total of 7 children ranging in age from 5-13. The kids loved the infinity pool and spent hours playing in it. No beach in close proximity but we had fun hiking down to the tide pools below the home. For beach play, we drove to Samara about 15 minutes away, which was one of the nicest beaches we've ever been to anywhere in the world. Overall, this was a great property.

Paradise in Costa Rica

Property is beautiful! View is amazing. Short drive to 2 amazing beaches. Samara and Nicoya are fantastic, authentic CR villages. Somewhat isolated from tourist traps. Extremely enjoyable vacation. Sonia , the on site house manager cooked for us all week and she was AMAZING!!! House is just as pictured. Gorgeous

Secluded luxury, 5 star accommodations with amenities and adventures close by.

The pictures although accurate aren't fully able to capture the quality and design of this home. Whether it's the super high end appliances, the salt water pool, the showers or majestic views, nothing has you wanting more. Gourmet kitchen and the latest in technology just keep reaffirming you are being pampered hourly. The caregivers on the property are fantastic and ensure everything is maintained to its original high standards. Oh and if that's not enough, the daily breakfasts are delicious and provide the perfect start to another day in paradise. I honestly believe you would be very hard pressed to find a better value in all of Costa Rica.
