"Codax retreat was a fantastic home for our family of 14 people (ages 2-60). We did have to get creative with sleeping situations with kids as some of the sleeping areas are in the loft which is very open. We comfortably slept 8 adults in beds and 2 kids in the bunk beds. The other four kids slept on kid air mattresses (not provided). The 2.5 bathrooms were great to have. The open space was great and the garage - the kids LOVED. "Great place for a family getaway. Beautiful quiet setting with a spacious well maintained exceptionally clean house on the Chippewa River. There are plenty of sleeping places and bathrooms. "The cabin was exactly what we were looking for for a mother daughter weekend getaway. The view of the lake is phenomenal! "We had a marvelous 3 night stay at the lake. Grill and kitchen were great for cooking. The lake is quiet and calm- very relaxing. The screened room was so nice to beat the afternoon sun and mosquitoes in the evening. Things to know: The area around the dock is not good for swimming. The stairs are steep and narrow. "

"I rented Marnie's apartment for our stay in Chippewa Falls. The apartment is beautiful with very unique lighting and fixtures. There was plenty of room for us to eat and hang out. The girls appreciated the full length mirrors and lighted mirrors. We also appreciated the desk area that we used to apply our makeup. The location was perfect with restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. We were five minutes from the Leine Lodge where we attended a wedding party for my son. "

"The landscaping, outdoor spaces, and location on the river are exquisite. The kitchen is well equipped with anything needed to cook a simple meal or a holiday dinner. The home is tastefully furnished and comfortable. My favorite room is the sunroom from which I enjoyed views of the garden, river and sunsets. Communication with the owners was easy. It is clear they care about the property and want their renters to have an enjoyable experience. "
