This is a beautiful house in a rural surroundings. The lovely yellow rapeseed flowers were out everywhere, so it's a pretty drive in. A non-English speaking neighbour shoed our friends around the property, which was probably unneeded as they couldn't understand anything, but might be good if you're French :) We appreciated the coffee machine, and most needed kitchen items were there, bar a toaster. The beds were comfortable and it was great we didn't have to worry about sheets. The layout worked well for our 3 families. 3 big kids in one room, two middle kids in another, and the little one in with mum and dad, then 2 other doubles. We loved playing tennis, and there are enough racquets and sports kit for everyone. We rode the bikes (10-20 mins) to the place you can order bread and pastries, and we swam in a local lake. (20 min drive away) Sadly there was a mis-communication, and the pool was not able to be used when we were there, so do double check this if on boarder seasons. The grounds are lovely - we put up hammocks (theirs) and played table tennis (theirs) and badminton (ours). We didn't use / have access to the other little house onsite.We drove to chateaus and vineyards, and local villages with cute markets. There are also loads of board games (some in dutch or French), and Dutch cookbooks. We had a lovely time, would recommend!
