The house is in a perfect spot to overlooking the ocean. The pool area is perfect and located right outside the kitchen area. Nice layout and updated kitchen. We really enjoyed our week here and hope to be back!

Perfect family vacation home! Daphne is an incredible host! She was Very quick to respond to any questions before and during our trip. She met us at the airport and we followed her to the house. The house was just as pictured and came with toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, dish soap, dishwasher pods, laundry detergent, softener sheets, snacks, coffee and more to get us started. We used the kayaks daily and we rented 3 additional SUP bc we were a group of 7. The water was clear, warm and so beautiful. We did need bug spray for those of us that mosquitos love. You definitely need a car rental if you stay on Chalk Sound bc it’s a 25 min drive to Grace Bay Area restaurants and activities. The space of the home was perfect for our group of 7. One bedroom suite is on the main floor. 1 bedroom suite is upstairs . And 2 more bedrooms are upstairs with a hallway bathroom . We had breakfast and most lunches around the large island every day. We went out to dinner every night. We used the round table to play card games after dinner. And can’t forget to mention the sport court! We played many games of pickle ball and basketball. We would definitely stay here again! We went on a 1/2 day tour private with Island Vibes on their catamaran and Loved it!

We had a wonderful stay at the Villa Shades of Blue. The house is beautiful and in a great setting. The pool area has an amazing view with a pool bath and a bar and BBQ area. The house is well stocked with all the utensils you need. There is snorkeling gear, life vests and beach chairs. The private dock by the water is nice. We used the four kayaks to explore the area. The lighted sport court with basketball and pickleball was fun. We had eight adults and were very comfortable. the wifi worked well. Daphny was quick to respond. Highly recommended staying at this property.

Our stay at Shades of Blue in Turks and Caicos was nothing short of perfection. From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by the panoramic ocean views, the bright, airy design, and the peaceful, private setting. The home is even more stunning in person than in the photos—spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you could possibly need.The location couldn’t be better. Tucked in a quiet, upscale area, it offered total tranquility while still being close to restaurants, beaches, and island activities. We spent our mornings sipping coffee on the terrace overlooking the crystal-clear water and our afternoons lounging by the pool or exploring nearby Chalk Sound. Every sunset felt like a postcard.The hosts were fantastic—responsive, friendly, and proactive with recommendations that made our trip even better. You can tell they truly care about the guest experience.If you’re looking for a luxurious, relaxing, and unforgettable escape in Turks and Caicos, Shades of Blue is the place.

Shades of Blue Villa, Chalk Sound

I don’t have the words to describe how amazing this villa and our host, Daphny, were!! We frequently travel with groups of 8-12 and have stayed at many great VRBO’s, but this has been by far the best! Make sure you allow plenty of time to just enjoy the property, the pool and especially the beach at the end of the dock where we would tie up floaties during high tide. The water was so clear and warm… The kitchen and outdoor cooking areas are a foodies dream. The entire villa is clean, well maintained/provisioned and so comfortable. Daphne is an incredible host! She was friendly, responsive and happy to help with ideas for whatever we needed! Be sure to explore the entire island and no trip would be complete without a tip to Omar’s! We did not have an opportunity to take advantage of the private chef, but Chef Benjamin’s is definitely on our agenda for our next trip. We are already planning for next year!!

Shades of Blue was perfect for our family of 7

We loved Shades of Blue! The kitchen was well appointed, sleeping accommodations were great and the view was spectacular. Daphne, the property manager, was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. When we had an issue with one of the a/c units, she had someone there within the hour. Our trip was fabulous and would highly recommend Shades of Blue!!

Amazing!

Couldn’t have asked for a better place for my family to spend vacation. Beautiful home on the water with beautiful views. The home had literally everything we needed. We only had to add groceries. We took full advantage of the 4 kayaks to explore local hidden gems during the day, and wound down most nights stargazing from the pool. We will definitely be back!

Great 6 night visit to TCI

When we were looking for a vacation villa we struggled to find the right mix of everything but kept coming back to Shades of Blue, eventually picking it for our trip. We really have no complaints and enjoyed our time at the property. The description and others reviews are accurate. House is beautiful, views are gorgeous. Everything was easy and as expected. Wish we could have stayed longer but back to reality… Thanks!

Perfect getaway

Omg this place is amazing and what's make it more special is you can see Prince estate directly across the water way. Kayaking was perfect and the dock was so relaxing. I definitely would recommend and return. Side note you definitely want a rental and you are 25mins away from grace bay

Turquoise Blue View!

It's a great house and even better view! The spectacular turquoise blue water is ever present in and out of the house. The access to the water and the kayaks are great and we utilized them fully. The newly renovated kitchen is huge and has anything you can possibly need. Four bedrooms are spacious and accommodated our family nicely. The master bedroom and ensuite bathroom are luxurious. Daphny, our host, was very helpful when we had questions. The location is on the quiet south coast of Provo in contrast to the north coast Grace Bay area where the resorts, shopping and many restaurants are. The plus is that it's more private and less touristy, the negative is that it's a 20-30 minute drive to Grace Bay. Overall, we loved our time at Shades of Blue!

Chalk Sound Gem

While the outside of the house is unassuming, once you open the doors you see the online pictures are accurate and the view is amazing. Plenty of bedrooms for our family of 4 and could have brought a friend. We loved the kayaks and life vests provided so we could easily head out from the private dock. The snorkel gear and beach chairs and floats were great to use. All in all a beautiful house in a lovely location.

Better than the pictures

From top to bottom, this was an amazing stay. Not only is the setting truly beautiful and quiet, but the house was great. Daphne is a true gem and made the stay truly easy. Highly, HIGHLY recommend you check it out, and it was perfect all around.

Great stay at Shades of Blue

We had a great stay in Turks & Caicos while at Shades of Blue. Daphny was easy to work with and very accommodating. She recommended a personal chef who provided a nice dinner and night for us. We enjoyed exploring on the kayaks and finding our own personal beaches. Sapodilla beach is close and a great day. Away from the crowds of Grace Bay which is what we wanted. It's a 30 minute drive, but the local restaurants - Las Brisas, Chalkies, and Omars are worth checking out depending on what you are looking for. Would recommend a boat tour to see more of the islands. The house was perfect for us with two small families with a great kitchen that had everything we needed and more.

Beautiful! Better than the pictures.

Amazing views and access to the water. Daphny was incredibly helpful and responsive. We can’t thank her enough. The property is gorgeous, and the kitchen was a dream. We enjoyed using the kayaks to explore and get to secluded beaches on the oceanfront. It is about a 30 min car ride to the Grace Bay area but the property was perfect if you want to enjoy the beauty of the island and feel like you have it to yourself. We loved our stay and hope to get back someday! Thank you Daphny!

Amazing villa and location.

The unit was exactly as described, beautiful and clean. The view was the prettiest blue ocean you have ever seen. I do have to say I was wishing the hedge was not at back of pool but otherwise amazing! Was great having four kayaks which we went to several of the private beaches which felt like a picture from a postcard. Did not want to leave, You will not be disappointed if you rent this unit it was very nice being away from the busyness at Grace Bay Beach. Will definitely consider renting this unit again.

We loved Shades of Blue!

The villa is beautiful and the views are stunning! There were so many nice extras- 4 kayaks, rafts, folding beach chairs, snorkel gear, and everything we needed in the kitchen. I was concerned about the limited number of past ratings but it is apparently because it has been recently renovated. Everything was great! Daphne (the property manager) was so helpful- greeted us at the airport, coordinated a private chef and arranged for a boat rental, and checked in regularly during our stay. Our family also loved that the location is in a less commercial part of the island- we loved the private beach near us and the undeveloped land. I highly recommend Shades of Blue.
