The overall Villas property (4 units in total) is very nice. We enjoy the more private rental properties versus the high rise types. And our primary criteria is cleanliness and functionality. The Bougainvillea Villa is clean but lacks functionality. For example, the 'kitchenette' isn't a true kitchenette and is not functional. The coffee pot and microwave are connected via a power strip. The microwave disables the power strip (turns off) after 30 seconds. It is necessary to turn the power strip back on for each 30 second interval. Trying to make tea was a hard and timely chore. The dresser is used as kitchenette storage and is provided with dishes, utensils, and glassware. You can only use these essentials if you bring carryout back to the Villa as the electrical/power strip does not work to even heat up any produce. The TV only worked a couple of times for maybe 30 minutes each. We are not big TV program watchers other than would have liked to have seen the news in the mornings. The screen was always muddled/blurred. So this Villa overall is more of a large hotel room. The groundskeepers and housekeeping staff were great as they were very welcoming and conversational.

The entire stay here was incredible… truly loved every moment at the villa. It is so incredibly located! Tucked away with private beach access but also close to a great food and popular areas. You can spend the day at the private access beach, rinse off and take a swim in the pool before getting ready for dinner. The villa itself was very clean and had just what you need for a short stay to feel like home! The housekeeper was super responsive and able to supply additional blankets, towels and so on. She was very sweet and gave us a kind smile and wave when we would see her. We loved staying here so much we looked up the hosts additional villas available for future bookings with bigger parties, thoroughly enjoyed our experience here and would highly recommend a stay here!!

Winter Getaway

This beautiful spot was a much welcomed break from the cold weather back home. Our accommodation was great for the two of us. The beach area was relaxing. We enjoyed kayaking as well as relaxing on the beach!

Beautiful beach!

The property is quite nice and well maintained. Access to the beach is a paved 100’ path and it’s gorgeous. Snorkeling at Smith’s Reef is a .3 mile walk up the beach.The room was quaint and comfortable. It had a coffee maker, microwave and small dorm size frig. We had a rental car (360 for the week) and would recommend that to all staying here. There are a couple of restaurants close by but the really good and highly rated restaurants are further up Grace Bay and are too far away to walk.

This is a pretty place. Easy to get away. The room was very nice and the common area around the small pool was pretty (get your mosquito spray out). Luckily, I found the place on my own. 2 taxi drivers were lost trying to get there. As well, I stumbled onto and into the room; I finally was able to call someone and 45 minutes later, a nice lady, Luz, showed up to say hi. Good that I was in the correct room. But, it is away - it isn’t close to the downtown bustle of Grace Bay and the activities there. A car is a must. I had to check out at 11am but was able to hang around the pool area for 4 hours until I had to depart.

Just what we needed

I didn't want an all inclusive and this met our needs. Our unit was small and we new what we were getting, I just wish we were able to make ice in that little refrigerator. Location was good. Quiet. Need a car for sure.

Grace Bay Beach Villas is a hidden gem away from the business of Grace Bay. It is in the Turtle Cove area which is quiet yet offers a few restaurants and coffee shop/deli within easy walking distance. The beach is located a short walk across the street down a private walkway and chairs and umbrellas are set up exclusively for Grace Bay Beach Villa guests. We did rent a car and parking is easy as each villa has its own designated parking spot. We stayed in the Bougainvillea unit which is a small studio containing a bathroom, small refrigerator, microwave and toaster. The space was clean and Luz and her team came in daily to empty garbage and replace towels. We only wish there was an additional sink for washing dishes we used. There is only one sink located in the bathroom vanity. There is a kitchen space located in the bar area down by the pool that does have a sink and a table under a gazebo, which we enjoyed having our morning breakfast. Please note that the Bougainvilla and Oleander units are one bedroom studios located adjacent to a larger rental that sleeps ten. Unfortunately, two nights were rented to a group of partiers that we heard on and off till 5:30 am. Then a large family group came in. We did not experience any noise like we did with the previous renters, however, all of their towels, floats, toys, lotion, etc., occupied the majority of space around the pool common area and were not always put away after use. We really enjoyed our time in Turks and Caicos.

Great Room and Location!

The room was clean and spacious with excellent access (two minute walk) to a beautiful, sparsely used beach with chair and umbrellas. Everything worked properly and the housekeeping service cleared out trash daily and provided fresh towels upon request. The bed was very firm but acceptable, but could use a gel topper to make it a bit more comfortable.

Great stay!

Enjoyed our stay! Loved the quick walk to beach that we had to ourselves! Villa was clean and nice and had everything we needed! Hosts were gracious and Luz was nice to deal with onsite!

Highly recommended!!

Beautiful property, terrific location, walking distance to great food. Right on the beach with your own private umbrellas, chairs and amazing snorkeling. Host was very kind and our bungalow was cleaned daily. We will definitely be back again!

Great time

The villa was just perfect for us...just enough for a couple- was very clean- everyone very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the location--quiet- outside the "hotel row". We walked to the several restaurants in the area and took a taxi otherwise. Would recomend it.

Just as advertised

My wife and I had a wonderful 4 day/5 night stay in the Bougainvillea villa. It was exactly as advertised: comfortable, clean, and conveniently located just a short walk from both the gorgeous beach and the Turtle Cove Marina. The housekeeping staff were very friendly and available as needed. The owners were communicative, ensuring that our stay went off without a hitch--from check-in to check-out. We hope to return soon!

nice get away spot

very nice and secluded but close to the beach and the big marina. Luz the onsite host went above and beyond with any issues or questions. Would definitely stay there again
