We had a girls trip for a long weekend and the stay was excellent. Amenities were in very good condition and so wonderful to have a beach to.ourselves! We kayaked every morning. We rented a jeep to drive to restaurants, super market, etc. All very accessible. Wonderful stay! Although definitely bring bug spray!

This was the most enjoyable holiday family vacation! The cottage was so clean and there was ample space for all to be together, yet have our own space. The view was absolutely amazing and being 5 steps away from the beach was my kids’ age 9 and 10 years old most favorite part! It was so close they could build sandcastles while we were cooking in the kitchen. Ben and Wesley were incredible hosts! They were there whenever we needed anything at all. We would definitely stay again!

- Pro: the owners are nice and stopped by one night to say hi, and were helpful and communicative leading up to the trip (even helping us arrange a guitar rental for the week). Con: there was no laundry detergent or paper towels in the place, and the owners stopped responding to my messages when I reached out to ask about these things (and since the property is not close to any store and we did not have a rental car, it was not easy to acquire them…a place advertising a washer/dryer but not providing detergent is not something I’d ever experienced before).- Pro: right on the beach and very convenient if you’re going kiteboarding. Con: far from the main beaches of Grace Bay, which are much nicer and cleaner than this part of Long Bay Beach. - Pro: tucked away at the top of the beach away from everyone else, so lots of privacy even at the nice little pool area and at the fire pit (which they were very nice to assemble and make easy to light each night). Con: all the seaweed from the recent hurricane was washed up on the beach and was more than a foot thick in places, causing a smell and a lot of difficulty crossing it to get to the nicer part of the beach (had to walk through all the flies and seaweed to get there…the beachfront right outside the place did not at all make for a good place to hang out or swim)- Pro: access to kayaks make it easy to get to the floating tiki bar (which you should definitely do if you stay here). Con: big cockroaches (I removed 6 fat ones).

A perfect family getaway for our family of five, plus one little one, recently had the pleasure of staying at Silver Palms Cottage #1, and it was the perfect beachfront escape. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the sheer beauty of the location. The cottage is situated right on Long Bay, offering breathtaking views and direct access to the famous shallow, turquoise water.The cottage itself was a true home away from home. It was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for our family's needs. The layout felt spacious, allowing everyone to have their own space while also providing plenty of common areas for us to gather and make memories. The pool, which was a huge hit with the kids (and the adults!). It was a fantastic way to cool off after a day at the beach and provided an extra layer of privacy and relaxation.We spent our days exploring the beach, building sandcastles, and wading in the warm, calm ocean. The proximity to the water was unbeatable, making it incredibly easy to go back and forth throughout the day. The sunsets from the beach were absolutely stunning and will be a memory we cherish for a long time.Barefoot Luxury lived up to its name. The experience was luxurious in its simplicity and natural beauty. This cottage provided the perfect backdrop for our family vacation. If you're looking for a peaceful, beautiful, and comfortable stay in Turks and Caicos, we highly recommend Silver Palms Cottage #1.

We had an amazing stay at this cottage! It’s just steps from the beach, and we loved spending our days paddle boarding and searching for sea shells. The cottage itself was beautiful and perfectly maintained. Ben was incredibly helpful and made our stay even better. Highly recommend!

Great place to stay! Beautiful in every aspect. Kite boarding school to watch pretty much all day, conch shells a plenty, and amazing turquoise waters. Everything was clean and and as described. My sister and family stayed in the other house on the property, which was very convenient. Very close in driving distance to everything. Grace Bay beach is less than 10 minutes away. Must see! Ben, the caretaker will get you what ever you need and take care of any problems. Fyi, if you plan to stay upstairs, it is not made for very tall people to go up and down the steps. Perfect for kids though.Defintely recommend to anyone. Thanks again for letting us stay at your house!

Turks & Caicos Beach House

We have never stayed in a beach front home. This home was literally 30 steps to the ocean.Super clean accommodation’s with a salt water pool - a one of kind on the island. We walked to coffee and dinner and just short drive from the shops and stores. Another high light was the bonfire on the beach.

A good place if you have kiddos

We were 5 adults without kids. While the property was a good place for us to rest our heads, we thought it would be helpful to clarify its features. The water in the cove in front of the house is very shallow. You had to walk out almost a 1/4 mile to get above your knees.The 5 of us adults couldn't fit in the living room unless we brought a chair in from the porch.The upstairs bedroom is really for children. Since there was not a king size bed, two of our friends used it. The spiral stairs were VERY tight. It was extremely difficult to carry suitcases up. AND at the top of the stairs, you hit your head on the ceiling if you were more than 4 feet tall. Once inside, you couldn't open the windows because there were no screens and it was very stuffy. Because the a/c was metered and we were warned many times not to leave it on, the temperature was a problem. There was a half bath attached to the BR that only had half a door so there was no privacy in that bathroom. There was also a light that shined through a window that had no shade. So, those friends had sore heads from the low ceiling and couldn't sleep because of the light, the heat and the sounds of each other using the bathroom.We had other challenges that were dealt with quickly. The hosts were lovely as was Ben the groundskeeper who helped us quiet down a noisy neighbor. But we felt it was important to share the features of the property so others could plan accordingly.

Great Property and Location!

This is a very unique property located near one end of Long Bay Beach. The house is nicely finished and well equipped. You walk out the back door to a beautiful beach where you can lay in the cabana or sit in a chair. The property shares a pool with the neighboring house. We had a great time and would recommend to anyone.

Very comfortable house on private kiting beach

We rented both houses for a party of 12 and it was perfect in every way. Ben helped us to light a bond fire on the beach most every night. Half of our party enjoyed kite boarding from the beach into long bay. Others enjoyed sitting on the outdoor bed and reading while others swam in the pool or at the beach. We had some issue with air conditioner but that was resolved quickly. We ate together on the porch at night and bugs were not an issue at all. There was a friendly dog who visited us from time to time. We had a toddler with us and it was perfect since the water at the beach is very shallow with no drop off. . All in all a perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of long bay beach. Our hosts were very responsive and even accommodated us for an extra night!

This was the perfect property and perfect stay for us. The home was ideal for our family, the bonfire was amazing every night, the screened in porch perfect for nightly dinners, the beach and water and pool just wonderful! We had the best time and felt so blessed to get to stay here for Christmas. It was very special! Owners were incredibly responsive and Ben was wonderful in helping us with anything we needed. Just be sure to pack big spray! :) we would love to come back another time!!

Quiet beach

The house is definitely out of the way, but that was ok for us. We did go to the other side of the island a few times and walk around shops and the beach of Grace Bay, but the quiet around this house was very nice. We did not know that there were two houses sharing the pool, which was fine. The house and beach area are very well maintained. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

Amazing house in a quiet area of town

We couldn’t be more pleased with our stay. The house was very clean, and it had more than enough paddle boards and kayaks for the entire family to use. The beach was cleaned and raked every morning before we were even awake. Ben, the care taker was absolutely amazing and just a kind person. He would check in daily to make sure everything was good, and made sure we knew how to get a hold of him if we needed anything. We would highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a beautiful beach house right on the ocean to relax at and enjoy.
