Quiet, private bed and breakfast on one of the most beautiful properties I've seen. The owners were friendly and gracious and made us feel very welcomed. Definitely will stay here again.

Perfect Getaway

We were very pleased with our stay at Sand Castles Suite. My first visit to the East Coast. The perfect View for our morning coffee. Watched fishermen come and check traps, sat out on the Wharf and watched the birds, jellyfish, crabs all in the clear water. Watched the sun set. Combed the shore for some goodies and tried catching some fish. Typical East Coast spring weather so cool/foggy/rainy during our stay but still able to enjoy the outside and get cozy inside. Clery insisted we check out high head trail and it was beautiful!! Close drive to Peggy’s. Arrived to find Bread, Eggs, Milk/Juice- some snacks and Jam/PB. Small portable BBQ to use, a toaster oven and a hot plate. Minimal kitchen counter but can use the kitchen table for prep. Clery and Cheryl are wonderful hosts- Would love to come again in the summer.

Oceanfront Paradise!

We recently stayed at Sand Castle Suite during our first ever visit to the east coast of Canada. It did not dissapoint! The property and the suite are so lovely! It was the perfect location to get to many interesting places, and a very short drive to halifax. Clary was very attentive and a lovely fellow to talk to. And the deck looking at the bay was my favourite place for coffee and a book! We will definitely stay here again if we return to the area 😊

Paradise in Prospect Bay

This B&B was perfect! We spent our days exploring Nova Scotia, then back to what felt like home. The evenings spent on the deck by the water watching the sunset was just what we needed. The hosts made communications easy and were readily available if needed! I highly recommend a stay at this wonderful B&B!

Hidden Gem That Is Heaven On Earth.

We booked our stay at Christmas for my husband's 50th Birthday. We booked for Canada Day for nine incredible days. Clary and Cheryl the host's opened their spectacular home to us and the views are nothing you could ever imagine. The pictures on their site do not do their incredible B & B justice. It is spectacular. From the moment we checked in to the time we checked out.We were more made to feel like family and not a guest. Lunenburg and Peggy's Cove are a must. If you are looking for tours we recommend Trott tours in Lunenburg, it is a horse carriage that run tours around the town, giving you the history back to the 1800's. As well the Lunenburg whale watching tour. We did apx 3.5 to 4 hour around the bay and had a great day. We loved our stay so much that we didn't want to leave, but we definitely will be back. We highly recommend The Sand Castle Inn.

Bayside suite in beautiful home

Excellent accommodation in a great location. Our host Clary was friendly and accommodating, going out of his way to greet us and make us feel welcome as we arrived quite late due to car repairs. The place is nice and quiet. There are a lot of stair steps to negotiate from the road down to the guest suite on the lowest level, so if you have a lot of luggage, you’re gonna get some exercise.

Outstanding property

This property is absolutely beautiful. It was a treat to wake up to the soaring views of the ocean. The suite was immaculate, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Clary and Cheryl are excellent hosts and have put a lot of thought and effort to make this a wonderful getaway.

La grande tranquilité tout près de tout

Vue de l'océan avec magnifiques couchés de soleil depuis la chambre comme depuis la salle à manger. Voisinage tranquille et cadre incroyable pour prendre ça relaxe. Non loin des grandes attractions touristiques et de Halifax. Hôtes très gentils et offrant plusieurs extras non-mentionnés. Séjour apprécié autant pour le logement que l'endroit et le coin de pays !

Sand castle

I don’t think we can say enough about sand castle at Prospect Bay. It was lovely and our hosts. Clary and Cheryl were the best. Wonderful waterfront cottage

We really enjoyed staying at the Sandcastle B&B. The suite is beautifully decorated and so comfortable. The view from the bedroom in the morning when you wake up is so pretty. So nice to wake up to an ocean view. Clary and Cheryl are ready to make your stay enjoyable.

Fabulous Setting

This property is a paradise. I sat on the covered porch or down by the water on the beach house deck most of my time there. Easy access to Halifax and Dartmouth. The kitchen is well equipped, and the unit is lovely- clean and cozy. Cheryl and Clary are extremely kind and considerate. I’m looking forward to returning in a month.

Amazing sunsets

We had a wonderful time at Sandcastle Suites. The location was perfect for us to visit family and see the sights. The owners couldn’t be more accommodating to make out stay a memorable one. Stunning property but what we’ll miss the most is the peaceful surroundings, enjoying our coffee in the morning and wine in the evening watching the amazing sunsets. We truly hope to return again.

Home Away From Home

Great property. The hosts have thought of everything and couldn’t have been more accommodating. Very comfortable suite with a great view. It was nice to be away from the cruise ship crowds in Nearby Halifax.
