Enjoyed sitting around the fire pit. Patio area was great for our group of 10 adults. Kitchen was well organized and supplied. Disappointed the BBQ was on the lower floor which handicapped us in using the basement kitchen as the eating area which was not as nice as the main floor dining area. Disappointed the lower rooms were noisy with close proximity to the sump pump and main water lines.

Entertainment. Spa was a big hit.

Property was lovely. House was very big with enough rooms. Upstairs our voices echoed without any sound proofing. Lower level a bit weird with the open ceiling. Voices really carried between rooms. I personally did not enjoy my final night there with the rodents in the wall with their clawing and chewing ALL NIGHT long. Had to find a friend to let me bunk up with at 3:00. Thought for sure the rodents would be coming through the drywall.

Getaway

Pictures show great however, Floors were swept but filthy dirty as they turned white socks black very quickly. Portable air conditioning unit for 9000sq ft does absolutely no good. Ad says AC Ad states playground, which there is no playground at this location. Many things in the house were broken -theatre seating, only 2 out of the 4 seats reclined, complete faucet on small sink in kitchen was not attached. Shelf downstairs and pool cue rack falling off the wall This property has seen a fair bit of abuse and very little to no maintenance.

Bachelor party - Success

This property was kept in perfect condition. Amenities were exactly as described. We could not have hoped for a better time at the Ranch. Staff were also incredibly helpful with locating a lost wallet after departure; they even sent it priority mail to the guest. Thanks CVB, its been a pleasure.

Modern mansion was a dream come true

Three generations, including three married couples so all our 3 granddaughters had their own room. We were there over Christmas and it was nice to have the tree and other decorations done by our hosts. The dining room was large enough for the 9 of us (but would have seated 12). The 2 dishwashers and huge fridge with freezer were essential and there was another fridge in the basement. During our 5 night stay we used almost all the amenities - theatre room, pool table, arcade basketball, sauna and other spa features. We had one dog with us and there were many places outside of the property to walk her (and ourselves). For the price, I don't think there is another place in the province of Alberta that is this large and with this many exceptional features.

Family time together

As a family we were very happy with all the different aspects of the home which met many different interests within our family. We were also comfortable with the fact that the hosts were on site yet not visible to us. They were also very quick to respond to any questions or concerns that we had. Cool property in the prairie

This was a great experience for our family - the accommodations were enjoyed by everyone. We had some 14 people and there was plenty of space for everyone to hang out during the day and evening around the fire pit. Spectacular prairie scenery.

Excellent property to have a family gathering and hangout. 3 families with 13 people and 2 dogs. Lots to do - relax, movies, spa , games. Beautiful area. Communication with hosts was excellent.

Perfect Wedding Venue

We booked CVR as the perfect place for our wedding and perfect it was! Between the space available for camping and all of the rooms in the house we were able to accommodate almost all of our guests overnight. The gorgeous landscape was the perfect backdrop for our outdoor wedding ceremony (so many stunning photos!) and the patio area was perfect for the dinner and dance. We are so happy we chose CVR and would highly, highly recommend it to anyone looking for an even centre or weekend get away! Jen & Bryan

Property manger sent frivolous invoice 2 weeks after stay.

The property managers sent an invoice without discussing prior and have not explained what the invoice was for. On VRBO, hosts can invoice guests and the card gets charged automatically, with merit or not.

Wonderful Weekend Getaway!

My friends and I booked this property for a weekend getaway, and it didn't disappoint! The house was beautiful inside and outside, and it looked just like it does in the pictures! We loved all of the activities that were available within the house such as the spa room, the theatre, the games, and the fire pit! It was such a special and quiet weekend and we definitely want to come back in the future!

Willa and Ryan were excellent to deal with. They reviewed all of the benefits of the property on our arrival. Any questions we had during our 2 week stay were quickly answered.
