Within hours of check-in, we texted our concerns re: filthy/moldy and then inoperable a/c (advertised as new and great); the problem was never resolved. There was no responsiveness to our repeated text communications to Guest Svs and we never were given the opportunity to speak with a live person from Vacasa during our stay. The faulty, very loud, and basically non-operational unit (stopping every few minutes 24/7 due to overflow in a tiny reservoir, requiring lifting and draining to resume) caused us endless hassle, stress, and ruined our overall experience. The details can be found in the long string of text communications we made. We are still waiting after 2 wks for a reasonable refund.

This unit had everything you need for a relaxing stay. The view of Pali Ke Kua is breathtaking. The AC in this unit is a portable unit that is located in the bedroom. It provides adequate cooling for the bedroom after at least 2 hour run time for a great night sleep. With the sun setting and coming through the windows, make sure you keep the curtains pulled to keep the living room, dining room and kitchen a little cooler.

Disappointing, neglected property.

Wonderful location, the views really are stunning. Other than that, this place just exists with the bare minimum to make money for Vacasa. For what they charge, we expected significantly more. Cleanliness was not a priority- take the actual piece of turd laying behind the plunger in the bathroom, for example. The giant cockroach, while potentially expected on the island, was also not something I expected to find in my hair one morning. Several dishes and utensils were not even remotely clean.Little effort has been put into this place in some time. There are scuffs all over the walls, and the outdoor cushions were dirty. Parts the inner property are falling apart or don't work. The main fridge/freezer had broken, so they put one in half the size that then took up room in the dining area, making it hard to move around.While the listing makes it clear there is no AC, what isn't clear is that there is NO AIRFLOW due to the front door of the home going straight out to an area that is blocked from any incoming wind. You do not get airflow from the ocean; it comes from the other way at this location (but you won't get any in the living area). The bedroom is kept comfortable with the AC unit that's in there.Overall, if this had been a mid-tier-priced stay, we would have been okay with some of this. But for the price, and that we really splurged for our honeymoon, this was a complete disappointment, and we will never rent anything that is Vacasa-owned again.

Great view

We had a great stay! The views were spectacular. The condo was well equipped but an AC unit in the living area would have been great as it really got hot in the afternoon. We pulled down all the shades which helped but then we could not enjoy the view from inside. We would stay there again.

Beautiful!!!

Just the view from the back porch is enough to make us want to come back! We loved this property, and it had everything we needed. Keep in mind that there is only AC in the bedroom, so keep that door shut to keep the cool air in. Other than that, open the glass shutters and enjoy the ocean breeze!

Fantastic stay

We were very happy with this property. First, the view is absolutely unbelievable. The condo was very clean, it was well stocked with everything we needed, and super comfortable. The AC in the bedroom was terrific. The living space was very comfortable with the doors open and fans on. I would absolutely stay here again. Parking was also very easy and there was never a struggle to find a spot.

Beautiful Property

The view from this property is amazing- the best sunset I have ever seen! The location was perfect to explore the Norty shore and very convenient to Hanalei Bay and great restaurants. The condo was comfortable and well furnished. Highly recommend!

Eautiful setting; lovely condo

If you can, be sure to walk down the paved path to the beach—it’s steep, but it’s absolutely beautiful! The condo was clean and lovely, had everything we needed, and was perfectly situated to see the mountain at sunset. The mattress was soft for us, but others might like that. I would absolutely recommend this condo.

Heaven on Earth

Our 3rd trip to Kauai and our first time staying on the North Shore. We absolutely loved this condo. Fantastic location, spectacular views. Nene's right out on the lanai. We will be back.

That View!

We loved our stay at this condo in Princeville! The living space was comfortable and had everything we needed to make ourselves at home, from TP, coffee, paper towels, dishwasher pods and dish soap, to beach chairs, boogie boards and beach towels. But, the best reason to stay here is for that view!! It is just mesmerizing and the sunsets are so beautiful! We would absolutely stay here again

Stunning views! I wanted to stay forever!

I gave this property 5 stars because of the overall experience, location, and views that cannot be beat in my opinion. We'll be back! It is an older property and future renters should consider the fact that the AC is only in the bedroom. Afternoon sun can heat up the living room area. Need to be diligent about keeping shades drawn in the afternoons.
