Lovely stay

We had a lovely time, it was special being right on the beach. The house is very comfortable and we had everything and more that we needed. Branko is a very attentive host who wants to make sure you’re having a nice time. If you’re after peace and quiet, Frogmouth cottage at Primrose Sands is the place to be! Would love to stay again sometime.

Beautiful house on the beach

Perfect holiday location. House was amazing and had everything we needed. It was nice to listen to the waves at night and waking up to the views of the beach and hills. Friendly neighbourhood and owners are perfect hosts. Would definitely stay at this property again.

We were lucky enough to spend Christmas at Frogmouth Cottage. It was a wonderful place to start our Tassie trip and really unwind. It’s such a comfortable house in a beautiful part of the world. Being able to walk straight out the door onto the beach is a real treat. Thank you Branko and Ivanka.

Beautiful Getaway

My wife , two young granddaughters and myself absolutely enjoyed our weekend stay at Frogmouth Cottage. The cottage is located right on the beach at Primrose Sands, just open the gate in front of the cottage and you are on the lovely beach. The cottage has three double bedrooms, a quality, well equipped kitchen. Everything about Frogmouth Cottage is aimed at making one's stay relaxing, comfortable and enjoyable. The owners Branko and Ivanka communicated to ensure that we were comfortable in their cottage. I have no hesitation in highly recommending this establishment for anyone seeking a beautiful seaside break.

Perfect Location

Our stay at Frogmouth Cottage was the perfect starts to our Tasmanian holiday. The views were gorgeous. Our favourite part of the day was sitting in front of the fireplace with a cuppa watching the sunset. Already planning on going back when weather is warmer. It was a great location, not to far from any towns, this made it easy to do day trips.

Not the only house on the beach

When I saw the headline only house on the beach I thought perfect privacy and tranquility but we were not the only house on the beach we were half a house the other half were the owners! The photo of the house is deceiving as you are only renting half of it. Imagine our surprise to arrive and find cameras on the outside of the house and the owner then came over and introduced himself the second day. The house was equipped with everything we needed and the view was beautiful but the reason for booking the accommodation was the privacy and there was none. The day we left the owner came over and collected the keys at 9.15am. Maybe he was just being friendly but we thought it odd the amount of phone calls, face to face and text messages from him. You need to change your advertising to you and the owner will share a house on the beach

Perfect stay for beach lovers

This home is exactly as the photos show, right on the beautiful Primrose Sands beach. We enjoyed the birdlife and were lucky enough to see a pod of dolphins during our stay. We were surprised to find a duck nesting just off the back deck and we all looked forward to checking in on mother duck There is nothing like going to sleep and waking to the sound of the waves and the natural environment here is perfect to unwind and relax. Our family loved using the beach at all times of the day and it was great to meet some locals. The home is comfortable and very well equipped including new appliances. It was lovely to meet the owners, something we have not done at other holiday stays, and we were appreciative of Branko and Ivanka's hospitality and local knowledge. Primrose is a great location to visit the southern part of Tassie; it is easy to find your way around and we enjoyed exploring local towns and tourist attractions. Then you get to return home to the beach at the end of the day! This is the perfect location for a beach holiday and it was hard to leave. For those who really like their privacy, the beach can get busier on warmer days but this did not bother us. We visited from SA and would certainly stay again! Thanks for having us Branko and Ivanka.

Great experience and wonderful location. The house has everything you need for a relaxing beach holiday. Beach is perfect for children to swim and kayak in. Communication with hosts was excellent. Can’t wait to come back.

Awesome retreat

Lived up to its description. A perfect spot to relax, enjoy the beautiful beach, read, play games, go for walks. Impeccable home with all the amenities. Will come back again. The only drawback is that it is 30 minutes from a grocery store so you have to remember to stock up when you go. But once you are there you don’t want to leave to go to town! Excellent hosts
