Loved the place!!

We stayed for 4 days 3 nights and absolutely loved the property and the privacy. The huse and property we're just like the photos. Would absolutely recommend.

60th birthday bash!

Such a wonderful location and the privacy of the back area with the sauna and hot tub was just perfect! The house is very well equipped and very clean and cozy! A must stay!!!

This was a beautiful and well maintained home. We very much enjoyed our stay and the peaceful surroundings. The upstairs porch with gas logs was our go to morning coffee spot. The check in and out process was seamless and the home itself was well appointed and had the necessities. The hosts were very helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had.

Mountain Top Retreat was a wonderful girls getaway. Very clean with plenty of room for our group. Sean and Ali communicated promptly and helped address our needs right away. As others have described, the neighbors property is a huge eyesore however we were not bothered by it once we arrived. Also, we had to go back down the hill to purchase dishwasher soap. Other than that it was great!

The house is absolutely beautiful. The decor, outdoor spaces, and games were great for our group (two young kids and a few adults). Wish we were staying longer so that we could enjoy it all. I saw this mentioned in another review so was not caught off guard, but the neighbor does have a lot of project cars and stuff - it just felt a bit intrusive to drive through. As the other reviewer said, don't let that deter you. The house is totally worth it, and plenty of privacy once we were there. Would absolutely stay again.

We kinda stumbled into our reservation with Mountain Top Retreat-- there wasn't a decent rental in the immediate area of my family reunion over on the WA side of the border-- and we're so glad that we did. I honestly don't believe that I've ever rented a nicer vacation home, anywhere. So spacious. So lovely. All of the design features were just perfect. We could not have been more comfortable. We'd absolutely rent this house again, and can recommend it unreservedly. (plus, at just 5 minutes from the state line, it ended up being pretty close to our family reunion anyway)

Excellent communication with owners. House was lovely and comfy. Fun games/activities and TV upstairs. We were a bit skepticle driving up to house on gravel roads but was no issues. Bring your eye masks as days are long and sun rises early in summer season. House only has solar shades so house is bright, even at night.

LOVE THIS PROPERTY!

We have family that own's property on Priest River, so we rented this home to travel to and from the river for the week. Our family had such an amazing stay - the massive kitchen, pantry, living room area made the stay so easy and comfortable. We had family dinners each night, the kids could lounge on the couches and watch a movie after being out in the sun all day. We utilize the jacuzzi and sauna - both were amazing and brand new. The neighbors property on the drive up is the only reason I gave "location/neighborhood" a 4 star - you will see what I mean as they have lots of junk stored all over their property - but please don't let this deter you from booking as you can't see any of it when you are at your house - I would just say don't turn around on the drive up - the home is worth it!!!! Our family has already booked to come back next year- and we plan to do so for years to come.

We enjoyed our stay! The house was very accomodating we especially liked the dart board (as we had a great time playing Cricket!), all the available things to do, and the seclusion of the property. We appreciated previous reviews mentioning eye masks and to not be turned-off by the neighbors property. We say a huge 'thank you to the owners' for sharing their property with us!

Our stay at Mountain Top Retreat was the best! It's a very beautiful place! Even better than the pictures showed! It's clean and beautifully decorated! The kitchen is well stocked and the beds are very comfortable. The sunsets and mountain views were amazing! Thank you Sean and Ali, for creating this beautiful home to share with others!
