    Bedroom 1: Double (4ft 6in) Bed Ensuite: Cubicle Shower, Toilet

    Bedroom 2: Double (4ft 6in) Bed Ensuite: Cubicle Shower, Toilet. Initial logs for wood burner included.. Both properties: Oil central heating, (£30per week, £20 per short break November-March), electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair. Patio with sitting-out area and garden furniture. Enclosed lawned garden (shared with other property on-site). Use of 10-acre grounds (shared with other property on-site). Electric car charging point (by prior arrangement with the owner). Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There is a lake in the grounds, 800 yards away.. Ideal base to explore. This former farm house at West Boundary Farm has been thoughtfully converted into two bright and comfortable holiday cottages (ref. 27557 and ref. 27558). An interconnecting door between the two cottages means that they can either be enjoyed independently or as one larger holiday home. Situated down a private lane on the outskirts of the small village of Pilling, these properties are ideal for exploring the North West coast. Blackpool, Lytham St Annes, Fleetwood and Poulton-le-Fylde are all within a short drive. Alternatively, the Trough of Bowland, Lake District and Yorkshire Dales are all easily accessible by car. Two well stocked fishing lakes can be found within the farm’s extensive grounds and this is offered free of charge to guests. Shop and pub ½ mile, restaurant 3 miles.

John the owner is very helpful.

John the owner is very helpful. We loved seeing the Peacocks, Barn Owl, Weasel and the Rooster. Nice walk close by and only 10 min drive to beach and shops at Knott End. Plenty of parking. Lovely views over the fields. Cottage very cosy with the log fire burning.

The accommodation is excellent & very well catered for. Facilities for pets is very good knowing they are safe in a garden.Security is excellent, having a key operated electric gate.Only 15mins drive to Blackpool & Fleeetwood, is an ideal location.Will certainly be returning

We had a lovely stay at the cottage.

We had a lovely stay at the cottage. The hosts were very fiendishly and greeted us with a fresh bottle of milk, which was a nice touch. The surrounding area and walks were lovely for the dog and only a 20 minute drive to Blackpool. Dogs aren’t allowed upstairs, which was a shame as ours found it hard to settle downstairs by himself on the first night. Would highly recommend it and will likely return. A lovely stay at this cottage! Like a home from home.

A lovely stay at this cottage! Like a home from home. Me and my boyfriend went for our birthdays just as a getaway with our two dogs. The cottage itself is lovely (the bed was THE comfiest bed ever) and the garden is massive which is all enclosed. You share the garden with the cottage attached next door so if you have dogs, just be aware of that. There are two fishing lakes about a 15 minute walk away but you can drive up to it if you have a lot of stuff. There is a nearby little village which has a fish and chip shop and a shop that is about a 5 minute drive or a short walk. The host was very welcoming, meeting us as we got there and seeing us off too. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

The owner and his daughter were very welcoming and helpful. We were fortunate enough to have the surrounding garden to ourselves and lots of peace and tranquility. Very comfortable cottage had everything we needed. Comfortable beds plenty of storage and the mirrors had a plug at the side so we could see when drying our hair. Easy to walk the dog on site.

Friendly owner welcomed us (and the dogs). Cottage has tiled floor so easy to clean if any muddy paw marks. 2 dog friendly pubs about a mile away. Able to walk dogs in owners grounds (just be aware of peacocks on farm or fallow deer in fields). Good location for Blackpool area or further north to Lancaster. Cottage warm and adequate equipment. Nearest beach is Pilling which is mud flats but a good path to walk dogs along.
