Schöner Aufenthalt

Idyllic spot!

We loved Perrot - a truly peaceful place, tucked away among fields of sunflowers. It has stylish, comfortable furniture, both inside & out. The patio & garden are the perfect place to relax, as is the lounge - great for cooler evenings. Bettina & Christophe are just charming. They could not have been more friendly & helpful. The information pack provided is so comprehensive & really useful. We used the bread ordering service, which works a treat! The house is well equipped & everything works well - showers, dishwasher etc. The double bed upstairs was a little firm for us, but that’s personal preference. Lascaux house is a wonderful place to base yourself. We only stayed 3 nights, but could easily have spent a week there, or more. There are so many interesting & beautiful places to visit nearby.

Excellentes vacances

Nous sommes venus passer nos vacances en famille à Perrot pour nous reposer et visiter la région. Accueil très chaleureux fait par Bettina et Christophe dans un endroit qui répondait tout à fait à nos attentes et conforme à la description annoncée. Service de livraison de pain tous les matins fait par Bettina, bien apprécié par tout le monde. Piscine très agréable pour nous rafraîchir et beaucoup d’autres matériels mis à notre disposition comme raquettes de ping pong, badminton, boules de pétanque, jeux de société… Nous avons également pu partager avec les propriétaires et les nouveaux arrivants, deux apéritifs de bienvenue. Nous reviendrons volontiers passer un séjour à Perrot. Merci pour tout. La famille BERQUIER

Séjour familial de deux semaines en juillet 2024

Vacances familiale en couple avec deux adolescentes et les grands-parents. Vacances très reposantes dans un cadre magnifique et des hôtes exceptionnels. Traumhaft schöne Tage im Périgord

Wunderschöne, sehr geschmackvolle Unterkunft auf einem weitläufigen und sehr gepflegten Landgut. Super Ausstattung im Haus und extrem nette und fürsorgliche Gastgeber (z.B. täglicher Brötchenservice). Viel Platz und Ruhe und einen Extrabonus gibt es für den großen Pool. Idealer Ausgangspunkt um das Périgord zu erkunden. Wir haben uns bei Bettina und Christoph wie zuhause gefühlt!

A perfect visit to The Dordogne

We are just back from our four week stay at PERROT. The property is simply beautiful. Our Gite was our home base as we explored this beautiful area, This is a perfect location for day trips to all of the beautiful villages in the area. You can reach all of the towns in an hour or less. The gite was the perfect place to come ‘home’ after a day of exploring. A beautiful three bedroom home, beautifully stylized, and complete with every essential. The washer/dryer means you can pack comfortably light for your trip. The pool and beautiful grounds are an added bonus. Bettina and Christopher were gracious hosts. Their knowledge of the area was so valuable as they were able to recommend the best restaurants and markets in the area. They were always available for any questions or needs we had. The ‘gite’ is completely private with its own yard, patio with table and chairs and umbrella, and lounging chairs for some quiet time in the backyard. I can’t thank Bettina and Christopher enough for the opportunity to enjoy our visit to The Dordogne in such a relaxing way.

Ruhe und Natur pur

Das Ferienhaus hat sehr viel Charme, liegt mitten im Grünen, das Gelände ist weitläufig, der Pool einfach nur toll. Es gibt rundum viel zu sehen und zu entdecken. Wir sind herzlich aufgenommen worden und haben uns sehr wohl und gut betreut gefühlt. Herzlichen Dank an Bettina und Christophe!

Amazing!!! Absolutely no negatives about this property and our stay. Bettina and Christophe were fantastic hosts. There when you need them and not when you don’t. The rural location was so dreamy. Wir haben phantastische 14 Tage im schönen Haus Lascaux verbracht. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet - es hat uns an nichts gefehlt.Es befindet sich auf einem wunderschönen Grundstück mit Pool. Bettina und Christoph sind hervorragende Gastgeber, die immer ansprechbar sind und uns tolle Tipps zum Beispiel für Ausflüge gegeben haben. Der Backwaren-Bring-Service ist grossartig-eine tolle Sache! Excellent stay

Wonderful hosts and a peaceful quiet location. Would highly recommend staying in this area. Lots of nice villages to see and so nice to come back and use the pool in the warm afternoons. Hosts provided so much information on where to eat etc, and looked after us so well.

Excellent séjour

Nous avons séjourné une dizaine de jours au superbe gîte Perrot en Périgord. Rien n’a manqué à notre confort, avec en prime un très joli cadre et un excellent accueil. Grand calme, belle propriété, hébergements suffisamment séparés les uns des autres pour que chacun ait son intimité. Belle piscine avec d’autres activités de plein air. A recommander à ceux qui cherchent une location calme, spacieuse et bien située dans la région.

We want to go back!

We had such a wonderful stay at Perrot and are so grateful to Bettina and Christophe for looking after us so well - they are great hosts!! The online welcome booklet is very useful. Especially for finding delicious places to eat. It's such a wonderful, peaceful and quiet location. We loved being close enough to a village for supplies and yet very rural. The property itself is delightful and my mum especially loved the wildflowers, orchids and listening to the nightingale and cuckoo. It's a lovely region of France and we'd love to be back to stay. Highly recommend staying at Perrot!

A pleasant stay

We visited the house in December, so off season. Beautiful stay, nice and clean house, with good beds, and all the equimpent you need. . It was a bit chilly on day 1 as the house had to warm up a bit. But all in all, the hosts were very friendly. We love the full fridge offer, really convenient, same as the bakery delivery on Saturday. Note: there is very limited mobile connection in this rural area, so if you have to make phonecalls you are depending on the wifi. Next time we will visit in Summer so we can make use of all the other benefits the house is offering.

Landidylle mit französischem Charme

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt auf dem Gut Perrot sehr genossen. Ruhe, gepflegten Garten , sauberen Pool mit gemütlichen Ecken zum Erholen. Sehr zuvorkommende Gastgeber mit Brot/Croissant Lieferung am Morgen. Guter Startpunkt für Touren in der Umgebung. Herzlichen Dank für eure Gastfreundschaft!

A Home in the Country

This is a gorgeous property set in the countryside of the Dordogne, it is quite remote so plan ahead in terms of food and beverages. I strongly suggest taking advantage of their full fridge service where they prebuy groceries for you. This is a perfect place for a quiet, country retreat where you can relax, read, enjoy the pool or wander around the beautiful property. The roads in the area are narrow and windy so allow more time than usual to get to other places. The hosts are very helpful, available if needed but never intrusive.

Mise au vert Périgourdine

(Maison Lascaux) Le hameau de Perrot est situé en bout de chemin, a l orée de bois, départs pour de nombreuses randonnées. Le jardin exterieur est vaste et tres bien entretenu. Chèvres, poules et lapins animent les enclos. Le coin piscine es très agréable. La maison (Lascaux) est propre et agréable, bien équipée. Sa terrasse nous fait profiter des grands espaces. Bettina et Christophe, les hôtes, sont aussi discrets que prévenants. Le top ! ... pour partir a la découverte des richesses de cette belle region du Perigord

Fabulous stay with great hosts in a very peaceful location

We spent a very relaxing and enjoyable two weeks in this gite with our two boys aged 15 and 13. The location deep in the countryside is very peaceful - far away from any traffic or other noise to disturb you. The gite is very comfortable with a well equipped kitchen, and its own private outdoor space. The wider grounds (where there are a couple of other gites, the owners' beautiful old farm house and various lovely animals including goats, rabbits and cats) are well maintained. The pool is perfect for cooling off on hot summer days. Bettina and Christopher were perfect hosts - they did not intrude but were always available to help and were very quick and clear in communicating before and during our stay. I particularly appreciated that all details about the gite were sent before we arrived, so we knew exactly what to expect and what to bring. They also kindly invited us for welcome drinks where we were able to get know them and the other visitors. The gite is well located for visiting a local attractions including caves, prehistoric sites, chateaux, picturesque towns, and plenty of outdoor activities. We spent a day canoeing on the river and enjoyed some archery. We happily filled our days without ever driving too far, and could have done so for a third week quite easily. Highly recommended.

Beautiful, peaceful property in the countryside

We are an American family of 4 that planned a 3 week vacation throughout Europe this past June. A recommendation from friends lead us to this area of Dordogne where we would explore the area for 3 days. We were lucky enough to book Perrot and have Bettina and Christophe as our hosts. The property was so beautiful and charming and the house was something out of Pinterest! The kitchen was well equipped, the bedrooms comfortable and everything was very well maintained. We enjoyed the pool in the warm weather and the grounds were lovely to explore. Bettina gave us a wonderful recommendation for a special dinner at a nearby property. We absolutely loved our time here and just wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you, Bettina and Christophe!

Noch schöner als erwartet

Angefangen mit einer superfreundlichen und sehr persönlichen Begrüßung ( welch nette Idee mit der Tafel ),über einen Umtrunk mit den anderen Gästen und leckeren Eiern der Hühner, Besuche der Katzen und täglichen Gesprächen mit den Gastgebern bis zum sehr schönen Ferienhaus und Langut ,hat alles gestimmt.
