Absolutely gorgeous place! And talk about stocked...they had everything you could need!! From K cups to crock pots to towels to toys and games for kids (adults too). Communication with the owners was the best. As stated in the listing, there's a washer/dryer. The setup for the lower bedroom is great for kids, but a little strange for adults as they have a queen bunk bed. We will definitely be staying there again if we travel to that area again!! HIGHLY recommended!!

Five star house all the way

This house lives up to its rating and description! We rent lake houses every year and this was the best so far. The lake and outside is amazing and well kept. We also rented the pontoon and it was fabulous and easy. Perfect for a family with kids. Adults stayed in upstairs bedroom and our three kids basically enjoyed their own apartment downstairs with so many fun activities for them. It’s rare to have a lake house with great hot showers and the water and bathrooms are fantastic. And laundry is a bonus! Baby gates at the house helped keep our little dog safe. We will be back!

A great week at the lake!

This was a great spot for our family of four with two teens. They loved the double queen bunks, basketball hoop, and swimming. The adults loved the large deck for coffee and hanging out and the large dock for swimming, cocktails, and sunsets. The cabin had everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable. Comfy beds for all. We fished, swam, kayaked, and played a lot of games. It was a great week to disconnect. (But great WiFi if needed!) We will be back!

Heaven on Earth and Amazing Hosts

To say this cabin is a piece of heaven on earth is an understatement. This cabin is a very easy to find secluded cabin in Northwoods Wisconsin and has everything you could possibly need. Lindsey and Jamie have literally thought of everything which helps since it is remote. The first day we arrived, we arrived to the sweetest gift from them that made it all that more special. The cabin sits on a gorgeous lake with kayaks included and a pontoon to rent (if you would like for an extra charge). My teenage boys absolutely loved the kayaks and caught SO many fish. We have visited the Northwoods every year for the last 3 years and our boys said this cabin and lake have been their absolute favorite and they want to come back next year. The sunsets are stunning and the area is so quiet. Cell service is spotty so may want to download something like What’sApp to use in the cabin if you do not have iPhone as those of us in our family who had androids had a more difficult time texting out. We were also unable to call out from the cabin, this corrected when out on the road. It is only 10 minutes from Manitowish Waters, home of our absolute favorite coffee shop - Dixie’s. Definitely a must visit. There are many great restaurants/pubs that are within 10-15 min of the cabin. Minocqua is about 35 min and they have a Walmart and many other activities and restaurants as well. Boulder Junction has our favorite ice cream shop which is our first stop every year, Mad Dog Jake’s.

Love this!

I grew up in the Great Northwoods of Wisconsin and this place is perfect. Not too big, not too small, on a lovely lake (although it was mostly frozen). Very clean, well furnished, warm, cozy and a perfect place for our cross country ski trip. I hope to be back next year.

Perfect north woods cottage

This is our second time visiting. We love staying here. The lake is perfect for swimming, boating, fishing. The house is comfortable and clean, with lots of amenities. And the owners are fantastic to work with.

We are avid VRBO users and I would rank this stay among the best. Cleanliness is always the most important thing to me, and this home did not disappoint. Lindsey was an amazing host. There were a couple times I needed to ask her questions about, and she responded via text right away. We liked the basement space so much we are actually going to use it for inspo in the cabin we are building. Book it if you can!

Northwoods Cabin has Everything and More!

We were so lucky to find this beautiful, updated cabin on North Turtle Lake. The deck and porches provided ample sitting areas and lovely views of the lake. There were so many fun things to do outside and the cabin’s interior was very comfortable and organized. The little boys loved the TV ‘s in each bunk too. We felt very pampered in that there were so many personal touches added to this property.

Very Welcoming & Inviting- Amazing Hosts!

This property is very welcoming and inviting. The hospitality was the best I've ever experienced. Every detail is considered. It has all of the comforts of home- towels, beverage station with delicious coffee, laundry, etc, yet a lovely vacation setting. The lake is quiet and perfect for kayaking. I ended up needing to work quite a bit over vacation and the wifi worked great too!

excellent stay

We had a wonderful time. The property is very clean, well stocked and comfortable. Lindsey is so wonderful and was in contact for the whole trip. The dock is great. Tons of outdoor seating, grill works great and the fire pit is great! Unfortunately, I could only go up for part of the trip because my daughter got covid before we were supposed to leave and Lindsey was great at coordinating with me.

Cute Place

Lindsey and Jaimie are the nicest people you could meet. They have a beautifully decorated cottage that feels like you are right on the lake. The cottage is very well appointed and makes a great spot for a family get away.

Adorable Cabin

This cozy lake cabin was just perfect for a 3-night ski vacation for 4 adults and 3 children. It was comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. All the appliances were new and worked great, the beds were comfortable, and there are so many conveniently placed hooks! The absolute best part was how attentive and considerate the hosts were. In addition to quickly answering all my questions through the VRBO messaging system leading up to the trip, once we received the check-in instructions, Lindsey was available via phone and text the whole weekend and communicated with me like we were old friends. We can't wait to book another trip back to "Dock" Holland's!

Great Winter or Summer Vacation Home.

The house was a perfect fit for my wife and children and my brother and his wife. The kids loved all of the snow (and the TVs in their beds). Super cozy with the 2 fireplaces. I'd love to come back in the summer and go fishing/boating on the perfectly sized lake. Owners are VERY helpful and even sent back something my son forget when we left. Great place to spend a week at any time of the year.

Wonderful getaway

This was a great place in the north woods. It was very clean and had everything you need for a great stay. The host was extremely responsive to any questions we had and they left us a really nice welcome gift. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Beautiful Lake Home in a Great Location

This lake home was beautiful, clean and just the right size for our family of 4. We spent time at the property cooking, fishing and making s’mores with our kids. We ventured out to explore Ironwood and the Porcupine Mountains, which were the perfect distance for day trips. The property owners were wonderful to work with and have thought of everything to stock the cabin with - even bath toys for my kids. We will surely be back for another stay and would highly recommend this property to friends and family!

Amazing Northwoods Getaway

What an amazing stay! Breathtaking views both inside and out. We couldn’t have asked for a better overall experience and stay. The home had the perfect Northwoods vibe with the decor, and was immaculately clean. Any and all conveniences were readily available. Property owners were very helpful and checking in and out was a breeze. My only hesitation of writing such a positive review is that we selfishly want this great rental all to our selves!! :) Such an amazing place. Highly recommended.

Gorgeous lake views, spotless clean, great location!

We had such a wonderful time at this beautiful property! The place was so clean and the lake views were breathtaking. Very private and quiet. Booking and check-in was a breeze; Lindsey is so sweet and ensured everything was perfect. There are so many areas one can enjoy the outdoors on this property. The huge deck had two different areas where you could view the lake. The back of the house had a covered porch with table and chairs where we enjoyed coffee during the morning rain. The dock was great for afternoon cocktails. Super comfortable beds and the house was furnished with everything you would need, including an awesome bar downstairs! Not having to bring our own towels is a nice touch, as was the provided toiletries. We ended up not putting our boat in due to weather, but the lake looks beautiful. Look no further, as you can't go wrong with this gorgeous home and wonderful hosts!
