Great overall experience

We had a great time at this property. location - was at the right elevation so we had some snow left from snow earlier in week. and close enough to town. Wildlife- we woke up a few mornings to deer and havolina’s enjoying their life. It was such a beautiful sight. Home- properly was well taken care of, very clean and stocked with everything you need to enjoy your stay. All spices, condiments, cooking sprays, detergents so we didn’t have to go out and buy the basics. Beds- beds were on the firm side. I was comfortable however my husband who is a 220lb man said it was too hard. Melissa (host) was very kind, responsive, and had great suggestions for things to do. We highly recommend this place to others.

We loved it here!

Super cute little place. It's on the edge of a neighborhood backed by forest with walking trails. It's close to town and there's great hikes everywhere. The owners were very good to us.

Very Very Nice! Equipped with much more than expected. Perfect for two couples especially with comfy king beds. Can't beat the proximity to town, lakes and hiking. Barking dogs was the only complaint which the owner cannot control. Will be back.

Great Place to Stay

Our family stayed here for several nights and enjoyed it immensely. We saw deer and javelinas come right up to the back patio area. There are lots of nearby places to hike and enjoy nature. We plan to come back!

Relaxing

The Groom Creek cabin never disappoints. This was our second stay and the third stay is already booked. The cabin is very clean, comfortable and relaxing with the best views of the wildlife right from the living room couch or out on the deck! We look forward to August, it will be our first summer stay! The bed in the master is the most comfortable mattress. I need to know what brand it is... lol

Perfect R&R getaway with best views!

The cabin is beautiful and views even better. We had quite a few deer walk right up to us to say hi. Great hiking trails right outside backdoor and the cabin is close to town. My family and I VRBO often, mostly Prescott ,and this by far is our most favorite spot. We most definitely plan to be back, we were hoping for anniversary weekend but looks like already booked thru August. But there is always an excuse to get away!!! Thank you for a great stay! See you soon!

Comfy and restful!

The cabin was beautiful and cozy. The fireplace was so nice. The bed mattress top notch. We saw javelina, lots of deer and birds. It snowed and the view was so pretty. The guest contact, Melissa was very sweet and helpful. We will be back again!

Amazing cabin in the woods

I love everything about this cabin. It's newly remodeled gorgeous, stocked with everything you need including more bird seed and the best bird watching right outside your window. We had deer in the back yard and just the best time in Prescot. It's a beautiful town with lots of history and victorian houses and old saloons. I will definitely be back again and back to this cabin. We had the best time!!

Great Get-Away Cabin

This little cabin is so comfortable. I rented it for 3 nights as an annual tradition of mine. It provided the quiet solitude I expected. It was very clean and well furnished. I even had an unexpected guest the third day, a little javelina stopped right by the deck. It was a lovely tranquil time. Melissa was very responsive and super friendly. I would definitely rent this cabin again.

Comfortable home in the forest

Beautiful, comfortable home backing to national forest land. Very private, no car sounds, just nature sounds, including coyotes and an occasional dog. Large deck overlooking the woods. Well maintained, updated. Just a few miles from downtown. And some nice, unusual touches from the owners including a bottle of wine, kleenex and napkins. (Surprising how few home rentals include those basics!). Loved the wood-burning fireplace too.

5+ star cabin in a beautiful forest

This place exceeded all out expectations. It is beautiful located, surrounded by trees an tranquility. It was super clean and the inventory was more complete then our own house. We’ve traveled the world and stayed at countless places, but this one definitely will end up in our top 3. Would give it a 10 star rating if possible.

Wonderful Cabin in the trees

This house is perfectly set up with everything you need. From extra pillows and blankets, hair dryer, pots and pans, baskets...even a rice cooker and coffee press. The kitchen is stocked to fix your meals, cozy up by the fire place with starter log and wood, and watch movies! The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet and so dark at night you don't even know they are there. We enjoyed our two nights and would definitely recommend to others and stay again.

Great Place!

This is a great vacation property. It was very clean, nicely decorated, and well stocked. The deck has a nice view and it is a great space to relax and enjoy the outdoors. There are also trails right outside the door to walk or ride bikes on. Goldwater Lake is a couple miles away as well. We would love stay here again. Many thanks to the owners.
