Cozy house near downtown

The house is cozy and in a wonderful location near downtown. It is perfect for a quick getaway. We had a nice stay and would be happy to come back again.

Great stay!

We took our elder parents to our father's hometown to attend a memorial. Lovely stay. It was clean, well-stocked, and comfortable. So appreciated the safety measures such as motion-sensored lighting in the hall.

Just OK

The property was just ok. In a good location for tourists, but not a place i’d want to return to. The listing should have made it clear that the house is no place for the handicapped or senior citizens. Front entrance has steep stairs with no railing or working lights for access in the dark. Alternate entrance equally unsafe. Front door sticks—if there was a fire it would be difficult to get in or out. Some floors slant. The furniture is the cheapest that can be bought and mismatched. Mattresses thin and sag. Couches so soft you sink down almost to floor when you sit. Neighbors that play music very loud. All in all just an adequate place to stay in a city that is wonderful. But then the price was reasonable.

Very happy with the Red Door Cottage

Very comfortable with thoughtful and complete amenities. Front bdrm had queen bed but no closet or chest of drawers. Luckily we could use middle bdrm (full size bed) to unpack and store our clothes. Yard was great for the dogs and they loved walks through the neighborhood. Very quiet and peaceful. We would stay there again.

Great Home Away from Home

Had a pleasant stay here after our HVAC unit died and we had to move out temporarily. It was comfortable, clean, and conveniently located. The amenities were practical, making it a suitable choice for a straightforward and enjoyable visit. Recommend it for a fuss-free experience.

Cozy home & easy location close to everything!

We had a wonderful stay at the red door cottage, liked the motion sensor porch lights since the neighborhood gets pretty dark at night time. Liked the drive through parking & decorations inside the home made it cozy. Appreciate that both tvs had Netflix & beds and pillows were comfortable. House had everything we needed for our girls trip, even the 10 year old girls enjoyed the place and want to come back to Prescott. It’s close to downtown & the 2 nearby lakes. It was our first time staying in the historic district area compared to staying in the pine/forest hidden path. We enjoyed it here & checking in was very easy, email was sent in a timely manner with check in code & checkout instructions. No issues with PMI or neighborhood. Was happy to see there was shampoo, conditioner, & body wash in the shower because I forgot mine! The binder with nearby ideas & placed to eat was very useful as well.

The house was extremely clean and very well taken care of. Plenty of space and very comfortable. There was some road construction, so it was loud one morning when it began, but not a huge problem. Would definitely stay there again.

Some issues

I have emailed several times about my stay and I haven't heard anything back. The master toilet was clogged the whole time even when we first got there. There was no electricity in the middle bedroom. None of the outlets worked in there either. It was difficult for my daughter who had her baby with her so she ended up sleeping on the couch. Also, there was so much construction. It was difficult getting onto our street because backhoes were constantly working ont the street and a couple times, they wouldn't let us pass. So overall, the house was cute but not worth the money that I had to pay for the issues that it had.

Backyard for the win!

The kids and dogs loved being able to spend time in the snow! The backyard felt safe and was a great size. The house was located near a lot of shopping and restaurants but was nice and quiet. Everything was nicely updated and pictures were accurate!

Our stay was wonderful. The house was charming. The location was awesome. Dog friendly. It was great. There were a couple things that weren’t the owners fault so I won’t talk about them, but minor and negligible. Host was attentive and communicated well. My friends and I really enjoyed our stay.

Thanksgiving in Prescott

Very pleased with our stay! Had a little hiccup getting in but the management co. helped us get it all straight at 1:30am! Impressive. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was great. Not the best for a family movie night (small couch in front of tv) but not a deal breaker at all. TV and dresser in master would've been nice, but still NOT a deal breaker. Very nice cute & comfortable home. Had a extra house guest...a little lizard we named "Fred". He just hung out in the family/ dining room, was very quiet and we watched our step. 😄 The only complaint... Those wood floors are super noisy/creaky. A cosey novelty at first but then it got to us a little bit (totally get it with real restored floors). Would stay here again. Great rate and at the last min. Thank you.
