The beach is only @ 20metres away ( not 5mins )and its a lovely lovely beach ...... its got a full kitchen, which I couldn't see on the booking site. The walks ( close by ) were great - Cape Raoul Lookout - was MAGNIFICIENT !. The pennicot boat tour was wonderful. Loved the place. "

"Just had a wonderful 3 days at White Beach Retreat while travelling around Tasmania with friends. The house is beautiful. Incredibly clean and well-equipped with everything you could possibly need. The house is configured to suit 2 couples or a family with a large bedroom at each end of the house and private bathrooms. Another bedroom with 2 singles is also down one end of the house. "The place was absolutely amazing — the views were breathtaking!Waking up to the sunrise and that stunning scenery every morning was truly special. We did have a minor issue with the BBQ, but the owners were quick to help us resolve it and even offered a small refund for the inconvenience, which we really appreciated. Great experience overall!"

"Wonderful views and wow what a sunrise! Saw a bandicoot, fluffy tailed possum and plenty of wallabies. Great home with all that you need lovely and clean. Just be aware Uber don’t like going there as the road is rough. Take a cab they will help you out. Staying without a vehicle is very challenging as even pizza places don’t want to deliver"

The worst place ever and not friendly staff at all

"The new owner, who was also the one who attended us at the reception, is not a pleasant person, not very decisive and has a very bad attitude. I had just finished checking in and giving my credit card for a security deposit, when the owner told me that the water coming out of the pipes is not good, that it comes out brown and that I can shower without any problem but that I should not brush my teeth with that water. He had friends and family staying at other hotels in the area and they did not have this same problem. When I asked him why this was happening at his hotel, he told me that it was not only in his hotel but that the whole peninsula has the same problem of brown non-potable water coming out of the sink and shower in the room. When I complained about this, he told me that my reservation was made when the other owner was there and that now this was not his problem, that I was just a transferred reservation. In fact, after checking with other hotels and restaurants in the area, they told me that the owner is lying and that the only establishment on the peninsula that has this problem is “The Fox and the Hounds.”"
