No better place in Montana!

This was truly the perfect place for us. We had plenty of room for 8 people. The full size kitchen made cooking easy! Sitting outside on the deck you have incredible views and even seen a bit of wildlife! It is a drive to the park, but the drives are so scenic, you don’t mind! We ate at the old saloon and another local spot right down the road, can’t even remember the name. Would stay here again!

Amazing location

Stayed here with 3 adults and 3 kids. Amazing location and feels like you are in the middle of nowhere. 30 min to North Yellowstone entrance. 15min to Chico. The views are amazing from the entire house. We had such a great time at this location. We would definitely stay again. Highly recommended!

We loved the Carsey-K Ranch. The home was beautiful, the property managers were easy to work with and the check-in/check-out process was simple. Would definitely consider Mountain Home Vacation Rentals for future visits to Montana.

The view is spectacular

We loved staying in this home! This house is in an area about 30 minutes from any nearby true "shopping" areas, which for us is not a problem....we sought out a home that was secluded with beautiful views and this home did not disappoint. We loved the home as it had everything we needed. Upon arrival we were a little bit timid as there is a mallet and bear spray just inside the front door. We were like...what have we done??? But we had no issues AT ALL and did I mention the spectacular views??? The home is big but cozy with a cozy cabiney feel. It has plenty of room for kids and adults. We even played some ping pong and pool and had a great time! The beds were very comfortable. This kitchen had everything we needed and more....including trashbags, hand soap, dish soap and etc. The queen bedroom downstairs does not have a working TV, so if that is important to you...you need to know this. The only thing that was a little strange was that the owner had left behind some personal items in the main bedroom closet and a few things here and there (like the pantry). We didn't mind this....but it may bother others because you kinda feel like you are invading their space. But then you just go look out a window and see the view and say....no big deal! :) Overall, this house is great! We absolutely loved it!

Perfect Location with spectacular views

Our stay was most enjoyable. Check-in was easy and exactly like stated. The home was beautiful and met all of our needs. The property was in the country away from all the busyness of town. We had a perfect stay for our Yellowstone trip and would rent again if given the opportunity.

Vacation after Covid

We originally booked this rental a year ago. Then the world as we know it stopped for a time. We were able to move our booking out to a later date thanks to the cooperation of the owner and the rental manager. The house was nice and we greatly enjoyed the pool table and arcade game. Great location and beautiful scenery. Our on last evening a heard of elk could be seen coming into the area to bed for the night. The next morning we were able to watch them travel back the way they had come into the valley. It was lovely to watch and made the experience that much more enjoyable. Thank you for allowing us to spend time in this cozy home.

Perfect for our winter vacation!

We really enjoyed this property! The view was beautiful especially for sunrises/sunsets! The game room was really fun place to relax after a busy day. Even though it was a little bit of a drive to Yellowstone, we really enjoyed the views along the way.

Spectacular property for privacy and amazing mountain views. Minutes to Chico Hot Springs and close to Yellowstone National Park's north entrance. Great layout for two families with teens providing separation when needed with ability to all be together for meals and socializing.
