This retro motel was cute, clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. Friendly and helpful staff. Restaurant next door was good and cheap for breakfast. Amenities were sparse...no inroom coffee or hairdryer but did have small refrigerator and microwave. If you are looking for a place with no flaws, keep going. If you like atmosphere and personality, stay here.

This is our 2nd stay in the last month, we used it to break up a 20 hour drive. Easy check in, right on the main route, easy to find, get in and out in a hurry! Clean, has everything you need.

Very nice older super clean motel.
I travel for business each week and stay in many different hotels and motels. This is one I will stay in again. It was older and and retro but VERY clean and super quiet. Not to mention American Owned.

Retro 50’s Motel!
Great motel from the 50’s! Original bathroom with original tile. Spacious with a heater in it. Very clean. Had a microwave & small frig. Nice desk area and a love seat. Great for a stop on the way.

Takes me back to my childhood
Amazing little treasure of a place. Clean, friendly and spacious rooms. It’s a well maintained older property, a cute little time capsule. Bed was comfortable and they had memory foam pillows.

It is an older motel with basic amenities. It’s clean, comfortable, and the owner is very nice and accommodating. The price was affordable. I would definitely stay there again.

It was a really well kept Vintage motel experience. We definitely plan on returning when we travel that area again and we’ll recommend it to our friends and family as well. The proprietor was very welcoming and professional.

We are certain to stay as we pass through again. Rose was kind and accommodating. The motel is as if memories have been preserved, and the accommodations have been well cared for. Wonderful overnight stay.

Well maintained & clean
The motel is old but very well maintained and very clean. Love the old tile and fixtures. We've stayed in newly remodeled motels that aren't as nice as this one. We will stay here again.

Exhausted as we reached Pratt, KS, we found a very affordable room (about half what all the other motels were charging) with the unlikely description of a motel AND RV park - With a 9.4 out of 10 rating - That accepted pets. Unwilling to spend over $100, we used Expedia to book a room. We opened the door, to find a bedroom just like Grandma used to get ready for us - carpeted, older furniture, and very clean. Tile on the bathroom floor, a flyswatter on the door, standing pillar ashtrays outside every doorway, apparently installed back in the 50s when most visitors enjoyed an evening smoke - Clean RV hook up area behind the swimming pool - Located next to a large farming field with lovely walkways and grass available to delight doggies and other walkers - Next door to a great local restaurant (closed Mondays FYI). We will definitely be back, just to taste the warm and cozy feeling that you really can go home again.

For an inexpensive and very clean room, you cannot get better than this! My two must haves in a room are clean and safe, which this place satisfies. The people that run the motel and front desk are very pleasant and friendly. That is a bonus on top of the clean and safe requirements. The room is very spacious. In addition to the queen bed, there is a rather large living area with a couch. There is also a side are with a desk and chair. The room has a refrigerator AND freezer as well as a microwave and TV. The bathroom is also clean and on the large side. This place also accommodates RVs although I have not seen those pads nor do I know the price. Sorry! All in all, I am extremely satisfied with my room and accomodations. As an added bonus, "Ric's restaurant" is open for business and an awesome place to have breakfast or lunch. Highly recommended for a budget room.

Such a cute, clean and retro place! The bathrooms a delight from the 50's...room decor is maybe 70's? It was clean and roomy. We were able to bring our dog. Nice grounds and friendly staff. Plus, such a deal!

the lady that checked us in was very nice. she was quick and very helpful. the pool was very nice and the other lady that checked us out answered a lot of questions for me. i would stay there again and the next time i might rent the caboose

The motel was very affordable. The sheets were fresh and clean and there were plenty of clean towels. The refrigerator, microwave and bathroom facilities were clean, with the exception that I would prefer that a new shower liner be provided for each new guest and the overhead light fixtures could use some cleaning. The hot water was immediate and the pressure was good. The carpet appeared well vacuumed and the furniture was well kept. Admittedly, most everything is really old. Although the mattress/box springs were well worn, I still slept well. I liked the somewhat firm pillows. The air conditioning worked well. The television was modern with seemingly very good cable. The receptionist was accommodating and very pleasant, providing fresh morning coffee and honey buns in the office. I would stay here again. It was oddly pleasant and a bit cute.
