We enjoyed our time at La Limonaia. The house was well equipped and the views from the terrace were incredible!Be aware that the house is located in a pedestrian zone, which means you cannot access the house with a car. We booked parking through the host prior to arrival. It was about a 15 minute walk from the house. Giuseppe met us at our car and walked us to the property to show us around. He then arranged for a dinner reservation and a boat tour for us, which were both incredible!A couple of things to note - We found the beds uncomfortable and the access to the house involved many, many stairs and ramps. To access the beach or the waterfront restaurants, it's about 20-25 minute walk down hundreds of steps/ramps and along a busy roadway with no sidewalk. One nice thing was the "cold" tub and outdoor shower after climbing the stairs/ramps back up to the property!Overall we did enjoy our stay and we appreciated Giuseppe's recommendations!

Thia place is nearly impossible to get to especially with luggage Very far from beach and not a safe walk Takes 15 minutes to get to the house frim meeting point uphill lots of stairs. Would never rent again. Very disappointing

Everything was pretty much as advertised. Hot tub was nice (though it was pretty hot out) and the place was well-equipped. Nothing to complain about, the views were stunning. The walk was no joke, we are in fairly good shape but the walk back up from the beach is a killer. Even if you take a bus or cab, you still have to walk quite a bit. Not terrible, just realize it is no cake walk. Also, you have to walk along a fairly busy road with no sidewalks to get to the beach.

april vacation Priano

overall great experience. staying this early in season came with some hicups. i believe we were first to stay in villa since winter shutdown. had to work out some kinks. disappointed in hot tub not working. on line says April to october but once we arrive we told May. Villa has a million dollar view though and grounds are beautiful

Very mixed experience

Praiano is an incredible mind blowing destination, and this property might have added to the wonder. The rooms are well-sized and comfortable, and the patios offer spectacular views. Before you book, understand that the nearest road, store or restaurant is half a kilometer from this property, and the sea is a 20 minute stair climb involving nearly 400 steps. We were told that the property owner lives in Naples, more than an hour away, and Miss Giovanna, the booking agent, doesn’t explain that she hashouse until after they arise.issues

Magnifique

Quatrième séjour sur la côte Amalfitaine et toujours autant enchanté par la beauté des paysages et la sympathie des italiens. Le logement dispose d'une terrasse pour en prendre plein les yeux, le petit village de Praiano est calme. Indispensable de réserver une place de parking quand on est en voiture. Séjour 5 étoiles!

Amazing place !

Amazing place wit great balcony and spectacular views! Near by small market made things very convenient! Only drawback is amount of stairs/climbing to get to/from everywhere, so prepare yourself!! Overall we had a great time!! Thank you!

This property has the most gorgeous views imaginable! It is in a lovely little town on the Amalfi Coast which is neither crowded nor commercial. We are a family of four, and the house was perfect. It was clean, large, and had amazing outdoor space. Both Sabrina and Giovanna were incredibly helpful and kind. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

almost 500 stairs from the place to the beach 500 down 500 back everyone was nice in the village, except for bus drivers they were not helpful. The market that was close was very nice and helpful. we had a broken coffee pot that never worked and we had to make do for coffee. It was ordered online, but was still not there when we left., not good to have coffee on the terraces, that did offer a great view

Wonderful quiet stay in Praiano!

La Lemonaia is a great place to stay in Praiano! It has a wonderful view of the coastline that you can take in from the terrace. It has a back way down to the beach as well, which shortens the trip! Yes, there are stairs to get to this hamlet and many stairs down to the Marina Di Praia, but that is to be expected along the Amalfi coast (it is a cliff side after all). You can also buy bus tickets at a local coffee shop (just down from Tutto per Tutti) and pick up the SITA bus using the back way down to the beach along the main road (there is a bus stop just up the road either direction) which will take you anywhere along the Amalfi coastline If you're in reasonable shape it is a great location that is out of the bustle of the town. Your nearest restaurant is La Moressa which will feed you no problem and below that is Tutto per Tutti which has any groceries you need. Working with Sabrina and Giovanna was a treat, they were always kind and easy to communicate with (always in English in my case). They were very responsive to any questions and requests that I had. The VRBO is very clean and comfortable and the terrace and hot tub are great! We slept well as it is very, very quiet at night. There is very new A/C in each room that works amazing. All in all, I would highly recommend staying at La Limonaia!

An Adventure to Get There, An Adventure to Stay

Be mindful that Google Maps doesn’t give good directions to the place and that it is a 10-12 minute walk to the property from the nearest stores, restaurants, or roads. That said, the property is beautiful and the views are worth a million dollars so very much worth it!

Views of the sea from a great house

Beautiful views, beds were good, very well stocked kitchen. Public access to buses relatively good. You need to be fit though because of stairs and hills in town.

Beautiful apartment

The apartment La Limonaia was so beautiful with an incredible view all the way to Sicily. The beach is only a few minutes walk and although this was down steps. it was an easy walk for teenagers. We loved our stay in Praiano, it is a beautiful place

Great location for exploring the Amalfi coast!

Wow what a view from La Limonaia! But the steps are tough. Be aware when planning a trip to anywhere on the Amalfi coast. We were not completely in understanding of how footpaths & steps & roads connected. The property in all is in a great location with steps down to easy beach access, many restaurants & several bus stops. There is also a footpath with less steps to several restaurants, several groceries, another bus stop & even a gym where you can get a day pass. The property has great loungers, several outdoor tables, a hot tub & an outdoor shower. Inside there is fabulous air conditioning, a washing machine, 2 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms to comfortably sleep 6 people & a well stocked kitchen with cooking utensils plus a dishwasher. The reservation was easy, communication was easy & check-in/out was simple. There were adequate towels & extra linens. We will probably not return because there are so many places in the world to explore but we highly recommend this property!

Amazing stay! Amazing views!

This was our first time to the Amalfi Coast and we could not have picked a better spot! The patio and garden area were amazing with the most gorgeous views of the coast. The home was beautifully decorated, had an awesome kitchen and comfortable. We could walk to a close restaurant with an amazing view, a market and the beautiful beach. We will definitely be back and would recommend anyone to stay here!

Great Villa

The views off the terrace were amazing. The host and the property manager were very responsive and helpful with our requests for help with restaurants, transportation, etc. Close to the beach access (alot of steps up and down but the jacuzzi helps!) A little further from main part of town but restaurants will come and pick you up and take you back. Overall great place!!

Great location to explore Praiano

Whilst the property is a bit tired it was a great location to relax and explore Praiano. Our property manager was excellent and all aspects of check in and check out ran smoothly.

Beautiful views

The property is situated on what would appear the be the edge of Praiano, so in the summer heat it was a trek with small children to get to the restaurants but doable. The villa is very well equipped and the terrace made up for any issues getting to restaurants. The market down the road had everything you could possibly need. Like everything on the Amalfi coast, the steps down and up can be challenging. Overall would recommend this property.

Amazing views

Sabrina the owner was very helpful from the start and even after we departed and went to another VRBO. The views were great! Apartment was clean and the ac worked well. Would have love to had more time here! Highly recommended!!
