The property manager was a very helpful, reachable person. Every question we had was answered swiftly. The property was extremely clean. The area was accurately described and beautiful. The only issue was the American coffee maker was difficult to use abd needed filters. Other than that it was perfect. We definitely found a perfect cappuccino place in town. I would highly recommend this place for family and friend vacations.

Maria was an exceptional host. She welcomed us warmly with fresh vegetables from her garden and homemade limoncello, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. She assisted with booking reservations and navigating the Amalfi Coast, making our stay smooth and enjoyable. The property was beautifully maintained and in excellent condition. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

Stunning views, extremely clean and charming. Location is a bit isolated but that's not insurmountable. Strongly recommend using taxi's and busses in lieu of rental car but have patience with crowds, especially in peak season.

View to die for!

My partner and I stayed here for a week in September 2024. This was an amazing place. Beautiful, Spotless and very helpful hosts. It is very quiet and peaceful. The view was amazing. We enjoyed the large balcony overlooking the sea. I give it a 5 star rating. Just keep in mind you are on the Amalfi coast and there will be stairs. This property has 100, but well worth it,

Great!

Casa Le Agavi was perfect for my husband and I and adult daughter. It was clean and had everything we needed and that was advertised. My husband and I did find the double bed to be quite firm but that was really our only concern. The views were fabulous! Yes, you have to climb a lot of steps to get there from the main road but we knew that. Maria was excellent! She was able to get us some groceries for our arrival and she provided lots of helpful information throughout our stay. As other reviews have mentioned, buses are crowded and often full going to Positano and Amalfi so we ended up using a taxi a couple of times more than planned. Praiano was less busy and quieter and we loved it! I would recommend Casa Le Agavi.

Beautiful Apartment in Praiano

My husband and I stayed here for 3 weeks and the location was perfect as it was situated right in the middle of everywhere. The apartment was great and very comfortable. The views were amazing. We cooked quite a bit while there and it was well equipped. Could use a good bread knife however. We did take advantage of the garage as we had a rental car. It was an additional charge but well worth it as on-street parking is very limited. The only drawback, and this would be in any town on the Amalfi coast, were the 103 steps down to the apartment. Just be aware that there are a lot of steps so be prepared. Also a lot of stairs everywhere in this area. This why you have these wonderful views. The bus both local and SITA bus were very good and once you figure them out, are a great option to driving the crazy roads. Maria who helped us with check-in and check-out was extremely helpful on explaining things in the town of Praiano and how to get around as well as suggesting a large number of places to see. Overall a wonderful place and we would stay again if we travel to the Amalfi Coast in the future.

Absolutely beautiful view!!

What a beautiful place and outstanding view!! Maria was wonderful helping whenever needed and always responded immediately to my texts. The stairs were difficult…237 steps from the main road. I’d suggest including that in the property description. But despite our age and health issues..we did it and would go back again!! The owner was very generous leaving tomatoes, lemons and homemade limoncello! Delicious!! I highly recommend this property.

A taste of Praiano

Our stay in your home was very comfortable. There was everything we needed, the view, comfortable beds, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, laundry facilities & the many stairs. We were provided with all the information we needed to get around to see the Amalfi coast.

Wonderful people

Guiseppie and his mom were excellent hosts. Everyday they helped us .they gave us fresh fruit and veggies from their garden. There private garage was terrific. Such a beautiful clean apartment. Can’t wait to go back next year. I would highly recommend this place to anyone . Now there 100 steps down from the road so go to the gym months earlier.(lolol) I couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend 2 weeks overlooking CAPRI thank you Guseppie and Mama

Emplacement de choix

Nous avons souvent réservé des villas par VRBO et ce fut notre meilleur choix. Les photos représentent exactement la propriété qui est situé dans un petit village en Positano et Amalfi. Donc si vous aimez demeurer un peu à l'écart des grandes foules, l'emplacement est parfait. Ça n'empêche pas d'avoir accès à toutes les commodités à distance de marche: épiceries, pharmacie, restaurants, plage, transport en commun, marina, etc. Maria, la personne qui nous a accueilli nous a donné une foule d'informations plus que pertinentes. Il y avait un plateau de fruits et biscuits ainsi qu'une bouteille de Limoncello pour à notre arrivée. Maria nous a même offert de nous accompagner pour aller faire notre première épicerie. Il n'y a qu'une chose à prendre en considération lors du choix de cet appartement: il y a 100 marches pour atteindre la route où stationner votre véhicule et il y a environ 300 marches pour rejoindre la route principale du village. C'est ça la côte amalfitaine. De notre côté, nous avons payé pour avoir accès au garage du propriétaire, et je le recommande, ça évite les casse-têtes pour le stationnement. Nous recommandons sans hésitation cet appartement.

Great home, tricky getting around

The home was great. We were unaware of how important it was to reserve taxis/transportation ahead of time in this area. Praiano does not have ferry access and the buses often don’t stop due to being overcrowded coming from Positano or Amalfi. The taxi numbers that the provided often either didn’t answer or were already booked which caused a bit of a headache. This was made worse due to the rainy weather that we had almost the entire time we were there. When we contacted the property manager they helped us find other people to call and we finally were able to have transportation. This was not the property manager’s fault, but it would be wise to contact them before you arrive. Paolo was the best/most reliable taxi! Giuseppe drove us to Salerno to catch our train. Great home, but know that you will have to climb to it and search for a taxi. Great view though!

Fabulous Praiano Apartment

We traveled from the states and stayed four nights at Casa Le Agavi during our trip to Italy. The communication with Giuseppe and Maria was excellent! Giuseppe helped us arrange a private boat tour along the coast as well as a driver to get us to and from Naples. The apartment was very comfortable and has outstanding outside areas to relax and take in the amazing views. A very special place you will be happy you booked!

We enjoyed our stay so much!!! The view is amazing, the apartment very clean and spacious. Giuseppe and Vincenza gave us a very warm and friendly welcome including fresh lemons on the table and homemade Limoncello. Great Stay in Praiano!

Loved our stay in Praiano! Excellent view from our apartment and our hosts were most gracious. They provided homemade limoncello and even baked for us a Neapolitan pastiera--Easter cake to enjoy on the holiday. Upon our arrival, Guiseppe immediately helped us plan our dinner for the night with transportation included. The apartment is spacious and clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our time spent here and cannot wait to visit again!

Super Aussicht in schön ausgestattetem Appartment

Der Ausblick von der Terasse ist sagenhaft und das Apparment ist gut ausgestattet - einzig ein scharfes Messer sollte man sich mitnehmen :-) Wir wurden von Guiseppe auch gut in Empfang genommen und zum Haus geführt - hätten wir sonst nie gefunden in dem Labyrinth an Stiegen und kleinen Wegen Ausflüge waren von Praiano mit dem Bus sehr preiswert und einfach nach Amalfi, Sorrent und Positano möglich (es empfielt sich jedoch gute Nerven für die Busfahrt mitzubringen) Einzig wirklich wichtig zu beachten ist, dass man zum Apparment nicht zufahren kann und ca 100 Stufen bergab von einer kleinen Straße hinuntersteigen muss. In den Ort hinunter sind es weitere 350 Stufen die man täglich furs Einkaufen oder zum Bus gehen überwinden muss. Ist ein tolles Fitnesstraining allerdings sollte man nicht Probleme mit der Hüfte oder den Gelenken haben.

Loved our stay!

We are so glad we chose to stay in Praiano at Casa Le Agavi. The house was well equipped and we received a warm welcome by the property contact. He suggested a great eating spot on our first evening and helped arrange an unforgettable boat trip to Capri where we could appreciate the rugged beauty of the Amalfi Coast from the water. The loacation was excellent and provided easy access via bus or car to Positano and Amalfi. We would definitely recommend staying here!

Sehr schöne Wohnung

Die Wohnung ist sehr großzügig mit 2 Schlafzimmern, 2 Badezimmern, einem großen Ess-und Wohnraum und zwei Balkonen mit traumhaftem Blick. Alles ist neu, sauber, in sehr gutem Zustand, sehr geschmackvoll und mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Die Besitzer sind nett und helfen beim Koffertragen die Treppen runter und hoch. Nächstes Jahr soll es einen Gepäckaufzug geben. Parken ist generell im Ort schwierig, aus diesem Grund und wegen der vielen Treppen gibt es z.B. einen kostenlosen Shuttle vom Supermarkt oder auch von einigen Restaurants. Das gilt aber für die ganze Amalfiküste, das mit den Treppen weiß man ja vorher... Weiterempfehlung trotz Treppen!
