This was our second stay at this property. Four adults and two teenagers. We booked it again because it's at the very end of a small point, so very private and quiet. We saw bald eagles, cranes, and herons.
The owner is very responsive, the place is comfortable very well stocked with the basics, including life jackets, noodle floats, kitchen tools, linens and towels. Wonderful swimming and fishing right off the dock or off the point. Our teenagers could be found casting for bass and northerns in their jammies at 7am each morning until they were hungry enough to come in and eat.
There are plenty of books and board games and the WiFI is capable of handling multiple concurrent zoom calls if you are in a "work from vacation" situation.
Be prepared for a rustic lake cottage stay: no AC but effective ceiling and floor fans. If it's super buggy at night, bring your own small fan and extension cord and you can keep the bugs away. We had a little trouble getting the washing machine to cooperate, but figured it out. The place could benefit from floor lamps and/or soft white bulbs, but this also adds to the charm somehow.
Due to the river feeding the lake, there is a strong current and wonderful breezes, but keep an eye on any young kids on floatation devices.
This is worth the price, especially if you grew up enjoying lake cabins/cottages but now only get to do it once every few years. Highly recommend.
