Incredible location and well designed property. It had everything you could imagine in the kitchen making it very easy to cook and hang out. The beds were very confortuand I liked the wood theme throughout, showing in the kitchen table, the bed backboards and even the shelving in the bathroom. The outdoor beach area was very cozy, although we spent most of our time on our patio looking out at the ocean. Would definitely stay again if we were in the area.

We had a wonderful stay in the Cedar Suite at Arbutus Cove Retreat. The space was thoughtfully laid out, spotless, and the views were absolutely stunning. Check-in was seamless, and everything was just as described. We’ll definitely be back!

A Wonderful Home on the Water

Whales, sunrises and sunsets, full amenities, easy access to town and yet away from town, access to wonderful walks and beaches, views of ships, seals, eagles, and the sea, comfortable living space, many amenities for cooking (!!!) and a wonderful home for famiilies.

A great place to stay while exploring the area

Everything about the Cedar and Hemlock (our family stayed in both) suites was wonderful -close enough to Powell River, but located on the water, why leave? The suites have everything you would need -a well appointed kitchen, very comfortable beds, a great view of the Strait of Georgia and a beach bonfire site. Would definitely book with Sean and Jennifer again.

The best house at Sunshine Coast !!!

The accommodation is absolutely perfect — a dream home one could only wish to own! It is impeccably equipped with high-end appliances and everything is so well maintained. The hot tub right by the sea, with the sound of the waves in the background, is simply idyllic. We will definitely be back, and we highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the Sunshine Coast. Lovely Arbutus Cove Retreat

Everything about our stay was top notch. The house is well appointed and we had everything we needed for a great stay. The kitchen was very well equipped as were the bathrooms and right down to a basket of wood for a fire in the wood stove. Highly recommend this property.

Everyone has a great stay- quiet spot for a get-away, and lots of space inside for the family to enjoy. Great host that helped with answering all of our questions. Added bonus- saw whales from the hot tub - who could ask for more?

Wonderful and Relaxing

Our group had (4 adults and 2 kids) had a wonderful stay. The suite was very well equipped and cozy for a few rainy fall days. We loved the hot tub and the views. Brian and Jenny were very gracious hosts and made sure we were comfortable. Would love to stay here again!

Family Reunion

4 adult siblings and 2 young teenagers fit perfectly in this beautiful suite. Lots of room to lounge, cook, play games, etc. We were lucky enough to have perfect summer weather so spent most of the time on the beach. The hosts checked in often via text to ensure all was well, many thoughtful little touches that you never knew you needed but really appreciated having. Will absolutely stay there again!

Absolute gem

Don’t hesitate to stay here. The suite is absolutely beautiful and stocked better than any vacation rental we have stayed at. The saltwater hot tub by the ocean was a bonus and we appreciated all of the different spaces to relax outside. Spectacular views topped it all off. We can’t wait for our next stay. Kudos to the owners for creating such an oasis!

Hockey Time with some R/R

We were in Powell River to attend my grandsons final minor hockey tournament (U18 Stars) and couldn’t have selected a better place to stay! Jenn & Sean were great hosts and our accommodations were the Best. With early morning rises and many trips back and forth to the rink, we felt right at home with the comfy beds, stunning views and everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. So grateful we had such a lovely place to unwind from the long days! Without a doubt would recommend ~ these Hosts care!

Our best stay yet on the coast

Sean and Jenn were the most attentive and lovely hosts we have ever had the pleasure of staying with. They have put a lot of love and hard work into this property and we were lucky to find it. Mother nature added her touch as well and provided us with some great memories.
