Ranch by the mountains
We had a fantastic stay, and on our way back from Yellowstone at this little ranch with mountain views. It was the perfect place to rest with our family. My boys, age 10 and 9 loved the pool, trampoline and playhouse area and were entertained all day. Sue & Joe were very welcoming and responsive to all our needs. The cookies are delicious and we felt right at home. Highly recommend staying here.

Wonderful Stay
Sue and Bill were wonderful hosts. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The kids loved the heated pool and the playground area. And just like everyone says, the cookies were amazing!

Clean, Comfortable and Fun
I took my 5 grandchildren ages 10-15 on vacation and we enjoyed our stay. Everything was very clean, and the whole place comfortable both inside and out. We had lots of fun swimming in the pool.

Amazing Accomodations
We loved our stay here. The property was exactly as pictured and listed. Bill and Susan were very gracious hosts. And, yes, like everyone else says, the homemade chocolate chip cookies were amazing! The property was in a beautiful location. The kids loved the trampoline and pool. If we get in the area again, we’d definitely stay here. Thanks again, Bill and Susan!

Beautiful property located at the base of the mountains, located near Yellowstone, Cody Wyoming, Montana and numerous scenic drives. Well maintained buildings and facilities owned by a kind, professional couple.All the ameities of home but priced less than a hotel, A great deal well worth it!!! Great destination for hunters, fishermen, families, and large groups. Highly recommend!!!

Wonderful place for a young family!
Our family loved our stay here! We felt safe and comfortable letting our kids play. We really appreciated the trampoline, tether ball, playground, and play house, along with the pool! The kids had a blast with plenty to do!! It was a true feeling of home away from home - cattle, dog and all! Driving for sight-seeing wasn't too far for day trips. We went to Yellowstone twice. Cody for the rodeo, museum, and mini golf, and some meals. Bubbas BBQ, Granny's and Cassies were our FAVORITE places to eat. We also took beartooth highway to Red Lodge and had some awesome supper at the Pizza Co. I cant say enough good things about our cabin - it had everything we needed, and was perfect size for our family of 5. We didnt need to run the A/C as the weather was comfortable for us. The wifi was nice to be able to watch tv at night. We had plenty games to play, but playing go-fish outside on the patio was a favorite! Our was beautiful in the mornings and short thunderstorms in the afternoon - best of both worlds for us and all the animals that roam the beautiful countryside! Thank you for sharing your vacation home with us! A lifetime of memories made for sure!! God Bless!

Amazing
Yes, the cookies are amazing. The place and property are very nice and welcoming. The hosts thought of everything and answered any questions quickly. My teenagers even enjoyed the trampoline and teatherball. Would stay again!

Home away from home!
My entire family felt so at home with fabulous view of mountains. Grilled dinners and card games on the peaceful porch in the evenings. The play area was the best for our little kid, along with the heated pool. The hospitality Susan showed my family was wonderful and her cookies were amazing! Along the fence line out back with mountains in the back ground my son proposed to his girlfriend! Perfect spot to head to Yellowstone - Red Lodge - Cody all the spots we enjoyed! We can’t wait till we head back this way.

It has everything you could need to make you feel like you are going to your mom's house...if your mom had a pool and the best view south of the Montana border. (Also, those cookies are legitimately better than crumbl's chocolate chunk cookies 10/10 stars).

Awesome experience! Family had a great time!
We had an easy time finding the place. Sue was extremely hospitable. We found the place just as she described it and of course there were cookies. My family enjoyed the pool, trampoline and visiting with the cows. If we are ever back in the area, we would love to stay here again.

Sagebrush steppe, Beartooth mountains, warm welcome
Susan and family were warm and simpatico hosts for our three night stay. From chocolate chip cookies, to bottle feeding Olivia the calf, and swimming in the pool and playing on the playground with a young grandson Susan and family made our family ranging from 6 to 74 feel so very welcome. Wonderful memories. The cabin is small but well appointed. The views of Heart Moutain and the Beartooths lift up the soul. Clarks Fork Canyon just down the road is jaw droppingly beautiful and only its isolation keeps it seldom visited. The cabin was our base for adventures in Cody, an astounding loop of the Beartooth Highway and the Chief Joseph Scenic Byway, and exploring the Yellowstone Lake area of Yellowstone. Everything is a good drive but you're out west and everything is big and a good drive. Just lovely.

Driving to property was hard was not on my gps and phone service went out. I had to ask 6 people
The only way to communicate to property owner was online. I left Susan with my phone number before the trip so if she did not see us that would mean we are Lost and I hoped we would communicate but no We just end up driving for 3 hour in addition to our 12 hour drive not so fun. We stayed for 3 days and when we checked out I stopped by to the owner Susan to mail out some postcards cards for the children with some money but she was not there only an older gentleman, who I ask to pass the money and postcards to her, but we are hoping she was able to do that or get back to us on that. The children enjoy the pool and the play area. The cabin is equipped with a lot of things and the laundry is right round back that is very clean. There are lots of nice activity in Cody which is 35 min away your children would love and the cabin is a few hours from Yellowstone Park. Susan seem very pleasant and help the children with the pool and showed me where the laundry is. For future suggestions for property owner, Put more info for how to get there , a signs 2 or 3 miles from the property, and that road is so dark some solar lighting and sign to turn. Magazine and info for activities locally and near by towns and a map and time of drive to Yellowstone Park. Susan the boys really enjoy the fresh baked cookies and thanks for having us, let me know if you got the post card and if you was able to mail them out. Have a blessed day.

I’m sorry Vanria, about the directions, I’ve told everyone that their GPS will try to take them to Powell! Yes I probably should have had my phone with me but I was busy cleaning your cabin! And I was there that was my husband and he saw to it that the post cards were mailed right after you left! I’m sorry again that you weren’t happy! I try my best to please everyone but that is impossible for some!

Rustic Homestead
Susan and her whole family were great. Made us feel almost like extended family not just guests sleeping in one of their cabins. Very quick to reply to any questions or requests. Location is remote but that is part of the experience. Will differently stay here again.

Fantastic!
Everything about this stay was perfect! The house was spotless and so comfortable! We loved the peace and quiet and the kids loved the pool and play area. The owner went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. She is so sweet and friendly and we loved dealing with her. This house is about 30 minutes outside Cody. There’s things to do around the house if you want a relaxing day without traveling. If you have a larger party, the owner also has several rental opportunities for you right by this house, just ask!

Ranch views - great location
Wonderful 3 bedroom cabin - perfect for a couple of days away from the city and to visit Yellowstone and Cody. Wish I could have stayed longer and explored more in the shadow of the Beartooths. Plus - I’m a cow guy and it was great to see and talk about an operation in action…. Would make an excellent spot for larger groups as well with more cabins there …. Visit!

Gem of a place, wish we could have stayed longer
Stayed here for a couple of days before heading into Yellowstone after a week of travel. We didn't realize going that it was a destination itself. The cabin had plenty of room for our family of 5 and we enjoyed our stay. Our kids loved the outdoor playground, trampoline, and pool. It was fun making connections with Susan and her family and they were so helpful for our trip. We will definitely come back and explore the area around Clark a bit more.

Family road trip
We were traveling across the country as a family of 5. We stayed 2 nights so we could see the museum of the west in Cody. It was so nice and quiet so stay just outside the city. We had dinner at Edelweiss one night and grilled some steaks at the house the next. The owner brought over a plate of homemade chocolate chip cookies, they were so good. The kids loved the trampoline and play set. We visited the corn maze just down the road and it was a blast! This was a great place for a family with kids. Lots of space for them to run and play. Thanks again for a great stop in Wyoming!

Excellent Vacation Retreat
I cannot say enough wonderful things about this VRBO Gem. The VRBO, was roomy, and clean, very comfortable. The host went above and beyond to make our stay a wonderful experience. Great property that has all the amenities anyone needs. Bill and Susan are two great people and were very welcoming! I’ve stayed at many VRBO’s and I would honestly say they are by far two of the friendliest people you will ever meet and they made me feel like family! Our stay here was amazing! I cannot say enough good things about the property and the host! We are already talking about our next trip and using this for our home base rather than any of the other places we have stayed. We were 30 minutes from Cody, roughly 30-40 from Red Lodge and only one hour and 20 minutes to Billings where we flew In and out!

Just What We Needed!
The kids and I were in need of a break from the day-to-day and a last bit of fun before school started up again. This was absolutely perfect! We have six children ranging in age from 14 to 2 so we needed a variety of activities. The play area with trampoline and pool was just what we needed! The view was spectacular. The cabin was nice and cozy. We were only a short drive away from some lovely towns. The kids and I will definitely be back!
