La cama no era confortable, la piscina esta cerrada y no hay desayuno, nos dieron de desayuno una manzana que por cierto estaba en mal estado, una barra degranola de mala calidad y un pan estilo muffin muy feo.... ne cobraron adicional a lo que pague con uds 50 dolares mas, en general no me gusto

Front desk staff is very pleasant. They ask if you need help when you look lost. Definitely a great place the room was great clean and dust free. The bedsheets are so comfortable. Great breakfast selection especially for children!

The staff was incredible! They went the extra mile to make our stay perfect. We needed two pack n plays in the room and they not only had what appeared to be brand new pack n plays, they had them set up for us! Pool was warm and our grandkids had a blast. Pool staff even offered us pool toys!

We were there two nights. 4 adults and 1 child in a suite. The room was not prepared with enough towels, etc for us to shower. Then there was no hot water the first night, apparently a boiler issue. We were told it was fixed. The next morning the shower was warm at best. The second night the shower was hot. The bathroom did not have an exhaust fan. So shower steam and odor from toilet usage couldn't be evacuated from the one bathroom 5 people were sharing. One person in our party slipped on the wet floor, there was a towel in place, luckily they were not seriously injured. When discussing any of our concerns w/the manager upon checking out she offered us rewards points. She never apologized and acted as though it all comes with the territory. Some of the staff was nice, but honestly, no one said hello unless I did first. I greet the hospitality people and try to be friendly. Working for her I can see why they are the way the are. I DO NOT recommend this location for people to stay.

Experience was not good.
I did not like that the first room had no heater, they changed the room and it smelled like cigarettes. Then they gave me another room where the fire alarm went off at 1 AM, my wife and I could not sleep, they yet again changed the room, I still could not sleep, the front desk reception is not friendly.

We have rooms that are designated non-smoking, but unfortunately, not all of our guests abide by our rules, and occasionally, as seems to have happened on this occasion, a guest will smoke in a non-smoking room. We assure you that we do our best to enforce our no-smoking policy on hotel premises and have cracked down on those smoking inside the hotel in the past; however, it is a very tough battle. That said, we appreciate your honest review, as it allows us to identify areas for improvement and enhance the overall experience for our guests. We will discuss the smell issue with our housekeeping team and see to it that our staff does a better job of preparing/airing out the rooms moving forward. It's unfortunate that the fire alarm system at our hotel was triggered during the sleep hours and that it disturbed you. While this was a rare occurrence, our team has been alerted to investigate the cause. At Hampton Inn & Suites Poughkeepsie, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional service to our guests, so we're genuinely sorry to hear that our hospitality left something to be desired in this case - this is very unlike us. We will ensure that our front desk staff is aware of your impression and see to it that we provide better customer service moving forward. While it's somewhat discouraging to know that despite our honest efforts to get your visit back on track, we were unable to satisfy you or change your experience, we certainly aim to make things right and hope you'll consider us again, assuring you of a more pleasant and positive experience on a future visit.
