We loved staying at the cabin - conveniently located for day trips to Lake George and Schroon Lake. It's so rare to find rentals with 2 king beds and they were nice and comfortable. It's a charming spot in the woods with fun vintage details.

We had a great time and truly enjoyed our stay. There was a mishap with the water, but the owner was super quick to respond and send someone out to look at it, unfortunately the morning we were leaving we had no water at all. The cabin is cute, cozy and beds were comfortable! Overall we enjoyed our stay and our hosts were great

The property was described as it was listed. If you're looking to unplug for the week or weekend, this is the place for you. The neighbors are not too close although you can see them through the trees. My family and I enjoyed the old cabin feeling. It was a short 2-minute walk to the water with a small area to swim. Next time I will be bringing my boat to do some fishing. Erin was an incredible host that quickly responded and showed up to a small issue we ran into. She showed up to the property and quickly fixed the issue.

I really want to give this thoughtful host 5 Stars, but I just can’t. We had no issue with the home and furnishings being a bit dated, but there were some issues that need tending. First, the home has mice, which I understand a bit due to the location, but there were no traps or signs of mitigation. We ended up needing to keep our food in the car and there were still droppings on our last morning. The bunk beds are the oddest I have ever seen…a normal sized child would barely fit on the bottom bunk as there is almost no space between it and the top bunk. And definitely claustrophobic. Then the little things that are fine if you aren’t paying a cleaning fee…filthy blender and crockpot, toilet paper holder fell off the wall on first use, etc. I understand not having a dish washer means you get some of the cleanliness of the previous renters, but things should be checked. I feel terrible with this review because the place is spacious and the host left wonderfully thoughtful amenities and snacks. But sadly just not worth the money.

Ski and Hiking Weekend

Incredibly reasonably priced stay at this lovely cabin located just minutes from great hiking trails and just 24 minutes from Gore Mountain. The King sized beds were very comfortable, lovely fireplace and spacious kitchen area. Owner sent us very helpful recommendations for places to visit and for where to find what we wanted to do. Would definitley visit again.
