Potsdam Weekend

Beautiful spot on the river with lots of activities on the property and the surrounding area! Did some hiking and kayaking, played pickleball and enjoyed some great food at local restaurants. Wonderful accommodations and very welcoming hosts! Will definitely book another stay here!

We enjoyed our stay at Beth’s Place. The location was very convenient since we were visiting our son at Clarkson. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed for our weekend stay. The hot tub was nice but unfortunately we didn’t get to enjoying the rest of the outside amenities because it was cold and rainy. We hope to go back when the weather is nicer!

Beth's place is absolutely perfect for a relaxing getaway. They did an amazing job providing privacy. Mother Nature surrounds you in her glorious beauty. The river, hot tub, fire pit, putting green, and adorable apartment were everything we needed. Everything was so clean and comfortable. Just wonderful!

Great place to stay

We have stayed here a couple times and has been perfect both times. Great location and place is well supplied with necessities. Haven’t stayed while weather was nice so haven’t had chance to enjoy outdoor amenities, but plenty of them.

Stayed with family of 4 for ,unfortunately, a short weekend. Still enjoyed all the amenities of this beautiful property, beautiful home, plenty of parking, hot tub w/ complimentary robes, putting green, and professional pickle ball court. Enjoyed kayaking on the glassy river. Easy to book and check out. Exceptionally clean and well stocked. Felt much bigger than the pictures show. Wish it could have been longer. Definitely recommend!

Perfect family get away!

We had so much fun on the river with our girls! Between pickleball, the hot tub, river, and fire pit there was plenty to keep everyone busy while we enjoyed the property. The rooms were clean, the property was quiet. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

I stayed here with my 3 young children for a short getaway and we had such a wonderful time. While I was ready to take them to do some exploring in town, they didn't want to leave. We pretty much lived on the cute beach they have on the river. Beth is such a beautiful soul and really made our time so enjoyable. We went on the kayaks, relaxed in the hot tub, had a fire every night, played some golf, and my son's personal favorite, caught about 1000 frogs. The kids are already asking when we can go back!

Clean and host was very nice

Love the decoration and cleanliness of the property, mini golf and pickleball was fun too, the owner even gave us a short tutorial of how to play. Hot tub is definitely a highlight, ready-to-use all the time,clean and all the jets work, great stay at Beth's place

Repeat renters

We stayed for SLU parents' weekend in 2023 and knew we would be back! We rented it again this fall and were very happy. Everything you could want in a rental and more - the hot tub is a welcome retreat after a busy day. Beth is super responsive but not at all intrusive. Great place!

Another wonderful stay

Not only is the host , Beth, always super responsive but always provides a pristine and cozy spot for us to stay. I also find that each time I come up ( this might be my 6th stay) she has added some other improvement or decorative touch. I LOVE this apartment and try as best I can to only stay at one of Beth's places if I remember to book early enough :)

Wonderful access to Potsdam, Canton, & Massena,

This was our family’s first exploration of the Potsdam area. Beth’s Place had great access to the four colleges in the area (all of which we visited), the locks at Massena, and a wonderful hike in Colton. So much to see in the area! The weather didn’t cooperate for us to kayak in April, but the views on the river were exquisite, especially from our private hot tub. The hot tub was one of the draws to this property & the perfect temperature was a great ending to our busy days.Beth’s Place is definitely on our list for our next trip to the area.

Needed a place to stay for an event happening at Clarkson for a family member. It was myself and 4 other adult family members. It was perfect for what we needed and a short distance to the campus.The detailed instructions and recommendations were much appreciated. There was nothing that we needed for while there. All of the amenities for the hot tub were such a nice touch!While we enjoyed our reason for going to Clarkson, we joked we wished we didn’t have to go because we wanted to spend more time at Beth’s because it is such a great spot. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful stay!

Beth's place is fully stocked with all the necessities and more. Very clean and neat apartment in a quiet location. The leaves had just started to turn, and the view to the river showed a burst of fall foliage (something we never tire of, even being from NH). Beth was super responsive but never intrusive. We'll be back!

Beautiful slice of heaven

The house was cozy, clean and beautifully decorated. It was fully loaded with everything we needed for our stay with a family of five. But the best part(and the reason we booked) was all the outdoor spaces and amenities. We used all of them from the putting green to the hot tub and fire pit for s’mores and the river access was perfect for kayaking, fishing, swimming and playing sand toys. We caught a lot of fish both from shore and out on the water. It was so peaceful and quiet. We will come back again. Thank you!

Wonderland

The property was close to St. Lawrence, where my daughter goes to school. It offered a nice living area with a full kitchen and laundry. The outdoor space was amazing. An Igloo where we played games while being outside and out of the snowy cold. The hot tub was a great treat after being out in the cold or playing pickleball all day. I was able to hide easter eggs on their gorgeous property, for my daughter, that went from the hot tub down the long path to the river. We felt comfortable taking walks on the property and relaxing with all the wonderful amenities. The host was helpful and friendly. This place was a complete wonderland.
