Positano!

We had a wonderful two nights in Positano! The apartment was great… beautiful view from the very large and gracious patio. The bathrooms were beautiful and the air conditioning was great! Very convenient to have access to the elevator close by. Would definitely recommend! Be ready to walk up lots of steps!!! We hired the Blue Line Luggage Porter service that was awesome and took our luggage from the ferry port to the apartment and back to the port when we left. They even stored it for the day on our departure when we went on a boat tour.

The large patio has a sitting area, lounge chairs, a dining table, outdoor showers, and breathtaking views (although there are electrical lines that obstruct some of it)

The hot tub and view... it was hot during our stay so we used it as a plunge pool!

Worse experience in Italy! The amenities: Arrived for checkin around 5pm the place was a mess! Waited another 40 min for the cleaning lady to finish and had to cancel our dinner reservation. The Wifi is so week and was out every pm, we could barely connect and catch up on work. The hairdryer doesn’t work. The shower drain is in defect and the water overflew all over the toilet floor. The location : The home is not accessible by car so you need to walk a good 10 min uphill with many steps to get there. We are healthy and didn’t appreciate this hike up and down everyday. It got us all sweaty all the time. Cost us an extra 100€ to hire porters to bring our luggages up and down from and to the pier. The casa is in a quieter area of Positano. If you like a lively environment within steps, it’s not for you. The view: The terrace is a sea view but there are electrical wires smack in the middle of your eye sight and a beat up building just below. There was construction besides with a huge crane. Impossible to take a nice picture of Positano from there. And the cherry of the sundae, we woke up the second day to a construction zone on the terrace with dust ciment all over the terrace and gyprock panels. The owner had planned renovations, and did not tell us. The third day, the sort of fixed wooden sun shade was gone. The owner offered Prosecco the last night but that didn’t save the stay. A refund would have been more appropriate. I would not recommend to anyone.

Great property with amazing views of Positano

Nello and Gennaro have both been great to deal with, before our stay, and during. To get to the property, you can get the bus from the centre (5-10 minute walk up hills and some steps from the ferry drop-off, depending on luggage/how busy the streets are), and you can then get the bus which drops you off at the bottom of the steps to the property. There is a local shop selling all you will need across the road from the bus stop. The walk to the property can be a challenge if carrying luggage in hot weather, but Gennaro kindly arranged for two guys to come down and help us. The walk up these steps and hills is tougher than the one from the ferry drop-off to the city centre, and it also takes 5-10 minutes (if you get help with luggage). You get to enjoy the views of Positano and different gardens growing various fruits on the way, so it's a nice walk. The apartment is clean, towels and cleaning essentials are provided. The air-conditioner works well, and there is also a TV with a variety of channels. The views from the property are fantastic - you get the views of Positano, the hillside, as well as the yachts that roam around the coastline. There is also an outdoor shower which you can use to refresh yourself after lying on the comfortable sun loungers. There is a barbecue, which we used on the last night - we cooked as the sun went down, it was pretty stunning. There is a small fridge indoors and kitchen utensils outside, which you can use. There is also a hot tub in the corner, although we did not use it - as it was too hot. WiFi is also available in most parts of the property.

Amazing View and outdoor space!

This property is absolutely beautiful. We had the whole large patio to ourselves. Panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea and Amalfi Coast. The room is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We had a wonderful time!
