"This is a fantastic get away don't expect Wi-Fi or luxury this is as far as getting to be a crofter as you will get, stone floors log fire beautiful scenery, although you do have electric so there are heaters but it is very comfy no TV and of course no shower but their is a bath. I loved it the wife loved it and so did the dog we definitely hope to go back. "

"We had a very nice stay here. The bungalow was very clean and well equipped. It was in a quiet location and it was just a short drive into town. We really enjoyed the view of the sea and watching the ships at the ferry terminal. We would definitely stay here again."

"Absolutely loved our stay in Andrea’s pod. From the get-go, communication was established and Andrea helped ensure we arrived at the pod quickly with clear directions. The building itself is amazing and the attention to detail is notable! Perfect for a couple. The various farm animals truly made the stay exceptional and we both wouldn’t hesitate to come back. "The Northern Lights cottage is perfectly located for exploring Scotland's central north coast. The cottage looks out over Talmine Bay, the Rabbit Islands, and the North Sea beyond. Skinnet Beach is just down the hill, a short walk away. The house is lovely with a large, well-equipped modern kitchen and two newly renovated baths, both with good showers. I would definitely stay here again."
