"This is a chilled and friendly apart hotel with great food and even better friendly and personable staff and service. Despite it being the middle of August, the place never felt busy and there were always a choice of sunbeds. Taxis were easy enough to get, but you couldn’t really walk anywhere so you may wish to consider a car if you want to get out and about every day. "

"The hotel in general is not well maintained, it's not falling apart though - not yet anyway. There's loads of noise from the hallway, nextdoor neighbours and especially the upstairs neighbours. The safety deposit box in the room is an additional €20 which is a bit of a joke really. There was more artificial lights in the cafeteria than at a dentist clinic. The food was tasteless, but the place was clean. The bar was your typical all-inclusive; wine as sour as your mother in law and the draught...

"Das Marelen Hotel war für uns die perfekte Unterkunft auf Zakynthos. Eine sehr schöne Hotelanlage, super saubere Zimmer, ein tolles, abwechslungsreiches Buffet morgens und abends, schöne Poolanlagen mit Poolbar (sehr empfehlenswerte kleine Snack-Karte) und extrem freundliches, unaufdringliches Personal.
