The apartment is immaculate, bright and airy. The hosts addressed every detail. We would all highly recommend this property as this location is perfect… just outside the busiest area but with easy access to Portos wonderful attractions. It was a pleasure to meet the hosts Jorge and Manuela and their helpful friendly staff. If we return to Porto we know where we will stay.

Absolutely Fabulous

From start to finish our stay was incredible. We were warmly greeted by Manuela upon arrival. She thoroughly explained everything about the duplex and gave us wonderful recommendations for sights to see and places to eat. Communication with both Jorge and Manuela were excellent. They were always quick to respond. The duplex itself is beautiful - spotlessly clean, exquisitely restored & designed, charming, warm and comfortable and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The hosts, Manuela and Jorge went above and beyond with the special touches and amenities in the unit and the common sitting room. We enjoyed the fruit, chocolates, pastries and port wine. We honestly cannot say enough good things about this property. If you are lucky enough to book it, you’re in for a real treat and an unforgettable stay.

Perfect location and beautiful apartment

My husband and I visited with another couple and had a fantastic stay. The apartment is nicely decorated, well furnished, and in beautiful condition. We loved the terrace space and use of the washer and dryer on-site. The location was perfect...not exactly IN the high traffic areas, but a quick walk to get there. The neighborhood has several bars and restaurants close by, as well as a market. We went to the Vietnamese restaurant across the street multiple times and loved the Vinyl bar a block away. Both were fantastic! Mr. Jorge provided a map with some highlighted sites and areas of town we might want to visit. Check in and check out were simple! If we make it back to Porto, we will most definitely be checking availability of Mr. Jorge's awesome apartment!

Absolutely fabulous!

We had the pleasure of staying at this marvellous apartment for our 4 nights in Porto. There were 4 of us (2 couples) and there was ample space, with 2 large bedrooms and spacious living room/kitchen area. There is also a lovely common seating area in the building where guests can enjoy complimentary port and treats. In our room on arrival, we also had a beautiful fruit basket and beverages to enjoy. The location was wonderful, within easy walking distance to attractions, restaurants, etc. Jorge and Manuela were both lovely and so helpful in the correspondence leading up to our arrival and during our stay. We couldn't have asked for more!

Porto perfect stay

This is a perfect place to stay in Porto.The house has been renovated with great care and style.The apartment is spacious, comfortable and well equipped. It gets the afternoon sun inside and all day sun on the balcony which is shaded by lovely trees.It is well placed for public transport with direct buses to the centre and Foz and an easy walk to the main bus and train station for trips to other places.The communication and check in with the owners was excellent who also arranged airport transfers.Highly recommended.

Week in Porto

This property was perfect for our stay in Porto. It was an easy Uber ride to the river district. There are several restaurants in the local area and a small grocery that met our needs (all within walking distance). The only negative we experienced was our car was blocked in the parking garage a couple of times and resulted in us having to change our plans for the day. The hosts were pretty responsive BUT do stress they do not offer consierge services. Port, wine, fruit, and pastries are available as part of the stay.

Charming apartment!

From the moment we stepped foot on this property we felt cared for. Up and beyond the usual stay! Jorge explained the details of the beautifully renovated apartment so we knew how to use everything and he also introduced us to many restaurants in the neighborhood. We went to three of them and they were great. Highly recommend this place!

Excellent location and host

Host was incredibly helpful and made our stay pleasant and comfortable as possible. The host sat with us and mapped out the city, sites, restaurants, set up drivers for us and even had a nice welcoming of local wine and food for us. We greatly appreciated their attention to detail which made our stay that much more memorable!

Lovely Porto apartment

I stayed here on a couples trip earlier this month and we all really enjoyed this apartment. It is a lovely apartment in a wonderful residential section of Porto. Jorge is a wonderful host and had great recommendations on where to go for food and site seeing. We greatly enjoyed a bar in the area he recommended and ended our nights there each night. The apartment is well equipped and quiet. Would definitely stay there again.

Stunning Apartment, Great Location!

Just as advertised! Lovely location, close to tourist attractions but a nice, quiet neighborhood. The apartment was perfect in every way for four adults. Manuela and Jorge provided an extensive amount of amenities from a large fruit basket to local wine and port. The common area was a nice stop after a long day of sightseeing. We will be back for sure!

This is easily one of the best VRBOs we’ve stayed in. Everything is just as presented in the listing, very clean, beautifully decorated and well stocked with every convenience provided. Even beautiful dishes! Wish we could have stayed longer. The hosts were so helpful and friendly! The neighborhood is quiet but with restaurants and bakery and grocery nearby. The walk to the old section is easy.

We loved it.

A perfect retreat during our 3 nights in Porto. We were so comfortable after our long days of sightseeing, kicking off our shoes and totally relaxing with a glass of complementary port, in this beautiful townhouse.Seamless check in and out. Hidden gem in out of tourist area

If I could give 10 stars I would!! This beautifully remodeled apartment was in an old beautiful tiled building from the 1930’s. They have a sitting parlor as you come in so we were able to leave our bags and relax, Manuela brought up a beautiful bowl of fruit and many bottles of wine and port. She went over our map and recommended several good restaurants. Best VRBO I have ever stayed in!!!

Best VRBO in Europe

We had a fabulous stay in this beautiful big apartment. The owners provided us with every possible resource for our stay, and even did laundry for free. We sat down with them for an hour and learned the history of the building (built in 1911) including their history of purchase, and the 7- year renovation project by the architect owner. I can't recommend this properly more highly. It is superb!

Dream home in a wonderful neighborhood

One of the nicest vacation homes we’ve stayed in, this apartment in the Bonfin neighborhood was perfectly appointed, impeccably maintained, and felt like living in an aristocrat’s mansion. The hosts were amazing, extremely knowledgeable, obviously had high standards, and couldn’t be more cordial. We thoroughly enjoyed our week in the apartment. We highly recommend staying in this lovely building!

Porto's Hidden Gem

One of the highlights of our time in Porto was the wonderful 5 night stay at the exquisitely restored Art Nouveau building hosted by Jorge and Manuela. The corner building is located in Os Duques of Bonfim a quiet and safe neighbourhood, just a short walk from Porto’s many attractions in the more touristy downtown area. We were astonished at the detail and authenticity of the restoration and were lucky enough to book the Terrace Duplex apartment for our stay. On our arrival at the Terrace, we were warmly greeted by Manuela who took the time to give us a detailed list of the best of Porto’s museums, parks, restaurants and incredible attractions. The huge 2 floor apartment is an eclectic combination of high-end amenities along with early 19th century light fixtures, furniture and art, all reflecting Art Nouveau design. The main floor of the Terrace has a large ultra modern kitchen, loaded with amenities and a big terrace off the living room. The 2nd floor has another bedroom and bathroom. The Terrace and our hosts were just awesome. It was probably the most enjoyable and relaxed stay of our many travel experiences. We highly recommend a stay at Jorge and Manuela’s very special Terrace apartment. Thanks so much!

Escape from the crazy

This was a VERY relaxing and welcoming apartment, far from the tourist noise yet super close to all you want to see if you enjoy walking. Very neighborhood like with good local restaurants which Manuela is eager to share with you!! She was very very gracious and helpful and the parking garage was super close
