We had a lovely stay at this apartment. It was great having 2 full bathrooms. The water pressure was great and the water heated in a short time. The place felt light and airy. The air conditioners worked well, though we turned them off and opened the windows a bit. The large windows provided quite a bit of light but closed well to block the early sunrise. The bed is quite firm, but we managed to have good sleep. It helps that it's easy to make the place dark at night.
The location is prime! We were able to walk to restaurants, bars, sites, and activities. Although the unit contained a clothes washer, like many Portuguese apartments, it didn't have an automatic dryer. However, there is a laundromat within steps.
We did have to store our luggage for a few hours before we could check in. We used Spot Luggage & Storage, across the street from the Trindade train station. It was only a few minutes walk from the apartment.
Check in was electronic, so was easy.
The only drawbacks were that because of the slope of the roof, the mirrors in the upstairs bathroom are very, very low and the skylight there had no covering so light entered in the early mornings. There are mirrors elsewhere and closing the bathroom door prevented the sunlight. A shade on that skylight might be nice.
