Pros: We enjoyed the large apartment, accommodating three couples. The location is perfect for accessing public transportation as well as a lovely sea-view. We did not have a vehicle, but there is garage parking available for the unit. It is a short walk to the beach area, and there are many restaurants and supermarkets close to the unit. Our hosts were friendly, helpful and easy to communicate with.
Cons: The apartment is on a main thoroughfare and there is a lot of street noise at night too. Light sleepers bring ear plugs. We visited at the end of Summer season, although pleasant temperatures, it is still warm. The unit does not have AC, so the windows need to be open for the cooling breeze. The problem with this is the mosquitos coming into the unit. We were all being attacked during the night and waking with mosquito bites. Clearly, this is a seasonal issue. The single coffee maker is a stove-top espresso boiler, which only makes enough espresso for two people and we were six. We gifted a Nespresso Style coffee maker the the unit. Lastly, the living room furniture needs to be replaced as it worn and looks like Frat House furniture, although it is comfortable!
To summarize, the unit is spacious, comfortable, and well located and the hosts are lovely. A few updates and additional style coffee maker are needed.
