cozy apartment very close to cais da ribeira and good restaurants. Teresa is a great host, she answered quickly to some questions. Check in process was very clear and easy. Porto and Janika’s apartment are beautiful. Hope to be able to be back!

Wonderful stay in Porto!

My two friends and I loved our stay in Porto thanks to Teresa’s help and Jamila’s apartment. The apartment was clean, cozy, and comfortable - plus the location couldn’t get any better. The welcome port and chocolate cake were an amazing touch after a long day of travel from the south of Portugal. Would recommend!

One of our best experiences!

Teresa was wonderful and met us at the apartment and even help us roll our luggage into the apartment. She had a chocolate cake and some port wine waiting for us and made us so welcome. You cannot get a better location in Porto for an apartment. It was just down the hill to the Ribeira district and the Luis bridge. The Sao Bento station is also walking distance. We had an amazing experience staying in this little apartment in the middle of Porto.

The property is lovely but quite tiny, hence the “cosy” description. Teresa was an amazing host throughout and very attentive and helpful. Very clean, great bathroom and ideal location. The windows of the unit back onto an alley so there is limited light and view. Overall though was happy with our stay.

What more can you ask for?

Wonderful location walking distance to all the sites and access to various tours. Douro Valley was great! Lots of great places to eat. Apartment very comfortable. Wine and cake a nice added touch. Would definitely return. Highly recommend.

wonderfully located beautiful apartment in historic Porto

This was fabulously started with the hostess extra-ordinary Teresa who met us on the steps and make the check in the best we have ever had with food, tips, and just welcoming style. Apartment is wonderful in superb location, quiet building, and steps from virtually everything historic in Porto. Exceptional!!

Great apartement at the heart of everything!!

We had a great stay at this apmt. Communication was fantastic, location and check in material (yes a pdf with lots of directions and recommendations) was amazing!!, can I say we were greeted in person and was given Port Wine and a chocolate cake!!!!! nice touch Teresa and thank you so much for your hospitality. Again, location was great, walking distance to pretty much all main seightseeings, the river was just a block and a half away down hill and you were in the Riviera overlooking Gaia. Perfect apartement for family of 4 comfortably. 2nd floor with an elevator. No A/C but there were fans provided for the 2 main rooms. Windows can be fully open if too hot but we were pretty comfortable with the temperatures we encountered during our stay in 2nd week in Aug 2023. Plan ahead and around weather/season if that is a concern to you meaning no A/C. Kitchen was perfect for daily breakfast and sporadic quick snack at night time, amazing restaurants whin 2 to 5 min walking distance. make reservations ahead if you can. Overall, we were all very satisfied with the place and can highly recommend to anyone thinking about spending time in Porto. Thaks!

Teresa is a terrific host!

The property is in a great location and is very true to its pictures online (maybe even better;-) I can’t say enough nice comments about Teresa; she meets you out front, she carried my bag; she responds as soon as you message her. I use VRBO a lot and wish every host was Teresa. Six stars out of five!!!!!

This place rocks!

Hey kids…I’ll get right to it…If you’re headed to Porto this is the place! From the get-go, Teresa made our stay one of the best ever…and YES there was cake! The apartment is perfect for two. However, if others like your mother-in-law stop by, the couch folds out with a bed and there is plenty of room under the staircase!!! We really in enjoyed the location as well…it’s located in the big fat middle of everything in historic Centro. Open the windows and hear Fado in the restaurant right across the street or keep them closed for a silent night with little noise. If anything is needed from local recommendations to the best place to grab a Nata, Teresa is a quick “WhatsApp” away. The apartment was clean, the sheets were white, and the port she left behind is GONE! Can’t say enough about how much we appreciated Teresa’s efforts to make our stay memorable! Bottom line…you’re gonna love this place!

Amazing experience.

Met at the apartment to be shown around with port and yummy chocolate cake. Gave excellent suggestions and checked in on us during the stay. Apartment had everything you could need and centrally located. Clean, well stocked and beautifully decorated. The best stay we have had and we travel the world.

Location! Location! Location!

This apartment was ideal for the 2 of us! Within walking distance to the Douro, the port caves across the river, various bars and about a kigillion restaurants. Teresa suggested several. We visited 3 of them, Puro 4050, Traca (next door to Puro) and Tappas Cafe. All should not be missed!! The Wine Box is also a not to miss place and it's right down the street. Be sure to make reservations at any restaurant!!!

Cute apartment right on the heart of historic center

This is a very sweet little apartment in a terrific historic location. It is just one block down to the Duoro River. Lots of great restaurants and shops in the area. The owner Teresa has done a lovely job decorating the apartment, making good use of the tiny space. The pictures are very representative of the apartment. The stories about greeting her guests with port and a delicious cake are true. She also has many other nice touches such as supplying one with cereal, fruit, coffee, juice, milk and laundry/dish soap as well! She goes above and beyond other rentals we have stayed in. The only caveat is that the apartment can be warm so if you are heat sensitive and going to Porto in the warmer months, be aware that this apartment has no A/C. The windows can’t really be opened very much bc of birds and noise so during the day I personally found it too warm. The evenings were better. Also, the apartment is right in the high tourist area so if that is not what you like, then this might not be the apartment for you.

Excellent location, stylish and very clean

We had a brilliant time in Porto. Teresa was very welcoming and recommended lots of great places to eat and visit. The apartment is in the perfect location, we could walk everywhere. There is a bike rental just across the road and we cycled down to the beach. Would highly recommend staying here. Thank you!!

nous garderons un bon souvenir de Porto grâce à l'accueil chaleureux de Luis, toujours dispo pour nous indiquer de bonnes adresses de restaurant, et je n'oublie pas le gâteau et le Porto de bienvenue de Térésa.Appartement très cocooning, et idéalement situé, à proximité du Douro, proche des commerces et des ruelles typiques et surtout très calme.Une bonne adresse qu'on retient si nous retournons à Porto.Famille Guyot.
