The PROS:Great Location, central to everything.The unit was clean.We were met by the "Feel Porto" rep at the door. She took us upstairs via the elevator.Toured us on how everything worked in the unit including the washing machine. There is a little market right next door that is locally owned and run. The woman working it was so sweet and helpful. You can get everything from bread, cheese, meat, soda, water, wine, coffee, etc.. That alone was worth a star for the unit.The CONS: no anti slip mat in shower. If you open either the bathroom or kitchen window, it looks into a squared off part of the building that is open at the top to the sky. Pigeons fly down and get stuck, as there is not enough room to fly out. As a result we saw and heard two birds banging on the windows trying to fly. With the help of a local living in the building and her daughter, we were able to use towels to capture and release the two birds. I think the issue could be resolved if the building manage ran a mesh screen over the top.

Pros 1) The property is perfect for walking and visiting the area2) Property very clean3) Some nice restaurants near by4) Property Managers very good, had issue with the codes for the doors, given wrong codes, resolved after phone call and manager came out.Cons1) The property had AC on the walls but were not working, the accom had a fan which was just recirculating the hot air.It was so hot in the room that it was impossible to sleep, which took away a lot of the enjoyment of staying in this accommodation. I don't know if this was to save money but it wire backfire as a good nights sleep is essential on holiday.The toaster was also broken, that was just a minor inconvenience. Once again get the AC sorted and would give 5 stars, but without AC only 3 stars.This is a constructive review and hope they get it sorted.

Amazing

The apartment was very spacious and clean. Amenities were perfect. The bathroom and shower newly renovated and very clean. The shower was simply amazing. The location of the apartment was within 20 minutes of walking to almost all the places of interests, restaurants and shopping. Across the street was a very quaint and local tapas restaurant (BIALounge) for a nice quiet dinner and drink. The owner was very friendly and hospitable. Definitely would return to this apartment. Thanks to the hosts

Wonderful visit

The property is located in a great spot. Walking distance to just about everything. The apartment check-in process was very simple. We were met at the door by a representative, and she took care of everything, including providing us with some information on where to get supplies. The apartment was very comfortable.

Excellent séjour a Porto

Excellent appartement dans le centre-ville de Porto. À proximité des sites historiques et des transports publics. Les photos représentent bien la réalité de l’appartement. L’appartement est bien équipé et en plus avec des appareils modernes. Je recommande sans hésiter cet appartement pour les gens qui doivent effectuer un petit séjour à Portor.

Updated flat in the old city

Nice, updated apartment in downtown Porto. Very close to the cathedral, Luis I bridge and the Sao Bento train station. Easy walk to great restaurants, important sites and Port houses. Pictures accurately reflect the accommodations. Would stay here again.

Perfect Location

The location was very close to the Ponte Luis (bridge) which allowed for easy access to both sides of the river. The check-in process was easy and on-time. Thanks for a wonderful stay in Porto.

Beautiful Apartment in the center of Porto

This spacious 1bedroom was a dream to stay in. The kitchen was well appointed with an induction range, oven, full size dishwasher and clothes washer with”dryer.” (Note that “dryer” meant an extra spin cycle...not a heated dry. There was a drying rack on the closet.) The bathroom was recently redone and included a waterfall shower...very sexy. The bedroom had a king sized bed and a single Murphy bed in the closet. The living room couches pulled out to sleep two more. As a couple we had lots of room. The agent Ricardo was very responsive to our needs and even arranged for extra heaters when the weather turned cold. The apartment is located about a block from the Ponte Luis I bridge making for easy access to the port houses. The Sao Bento train station is a couple of blocks inland...and there’s a taxi stand there for easy transit to the airport. Just outside the apartment door, to the left, is a small grocery that can meet most of your needs. If they don’t have something, the Indian grocer a few doors further down will probably have it. Across the street is a small restaurant with good food and wine.
