For my second trip to Portugal, I booked this property in Porto to experience the local vibe and central location to restaurants, grocery store, and plenty of sites to explore. The property is "classic" given its early 20th century architecture, although modern amenities (kitchen counter/appliances/shower/heating/secure door to building and the apartment) have positively refined the unit. FeelPorto is the managing host and responded reasonably well to pre-checkin, check-in, extended stay requests/minor issues. The unit is located above a Cafe which gave flavorful aroma to the building and provided relatively low cost traditional Portuguese cuisine. Being a seasoned traveller, it met my expectations and helped make my first visit to Porto positively memorable.

Cute apartment which was clean and roomy in a nice central location. Comfy beds but the bathroom was not laid out well at all. It was big but dark and only had a pedestal sink and a very small wobbly shelf so no place to set anything down. We had 4 sharing the bathroom so ended up putting everything on the floor. The shower door wouldn't close all the way and leaked badly.Also, don't let the pic of open windows fool you. This place is right above a very busy bar with outside seating that didn't close until 2:00 or 3:00 am. Very noisy hard to get any sleep!Most frustrating was the check in process. We had to meet someone on site, and because we were driving there, initially gave them a 2-hour window on Friday afternoon which they said was fine. Then we started getting messages wanting a specific time - obvious that the person checking us in had evening plans. When we arrived, she told me not to take long showers or we would run out of hot water, not to turn the AC down or it would "freeze up" and not to run multiple kitchen appliances or the electrical breaker would trip. I understand the building is old, but these are things we would have liked to know in advance. We were also told they had a parking lot close by for a nominal fee when we initially inquired which was not the case. Had to park in a paid lot across the street which was smore expensive than anticipated. Pretty disappointing overall.

The apartement is perfectly located and is well equiped. Only negative would be that the pictures makes the main living room looks bigger then it is and some items would need renewal. But in general the apartment is perfect. The services is exceptionnal and super well organized.

Charming Porto Apartment

The apartment is charming. It feels like you are staying in a beautifully updated piece of history. The location is wonderful with cultural sites and restaurants close. Communication with the team was quick and easy. I would certainly stay again!

Great location, everything you need

Apartment was well located and the property manager was responsive. We were traveling with a 1 & 5 year old and booked the breakfast service which was super convenient to make sure some fresh food was on hand. Thanks for a great place in Porto!

Superlage um Porto zu Fuß entdecken zu können. Praça dos Poveiros ist eine lebendige Nachbarschaft, die (noch?) nicht von Tourismus dominiert ist. Die Wohnung ein Hit was die Atmosphäre durch die umsichtige Gestaltung und Einrichtung angeht. Beeindruckend: die Helligkeit durch die im Orginal belassenen Fensterfronten

Great Apartment, Awkward Check-in

The apartment is lovely, just as described, in a very convenient area of Porto to walk to everything. (Be sure to get a pulled pork sandwich from the restaurant on the corner just downstairs!) Lots of space and light, with a fully equipped kitchen. Check-in was done in person, which I've never experienced with a VRBO before. We had to coordinate our arrival time to meet the representative on-site, which limited our travel flexibility. Other than that unexpected twist, all was great.

We Would Stay Here Again!

This apartment is even more beautiful in person! It is in a great location which makes it easy to walk for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or drinks. The check-in was easy thanks to the FeelPorto team who arranged our ride from the airport after midnight (definitely worth it). At night, you can either leave the large windows open to the fresh air and fun sounds of the neighborhood, or put on the AC and enjoy a peaceful sleep in the comfy beds. Would I stay here again? Absolutely! Tip: When you think the key pad combination to the street door isn’t working, just give the door a strong hip bump ;)

Communication with manager was great! Check in process was seamless. They arranged transfers from airport and train station. Very helpful and professional. The apartment is in a good location. We walked everywhere from there. I highly recommend this apartment as it was clean and convenient.

Great location

This apartment was great for 2 couples. Within easy walking distance to many of the historical sites and restaurants. There is a lot of street noise throughout the the night, which fine if you are a sound sleeper. We would stay here again, without question!
