Awesome place to stay!!

We had a wonderful stay! Location was great, short walk to the river, short walk to the metro. Excellent restaurants close by...and across the street.The hosts were very accommodating, gracious and were quick to respond for any questions. Granted there was not a lift, after walking the hills of Porto, the stairs were not an issue. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend.

Easy walking distance from the station, great location to different areas of the city, close to small local shops if you need a few basic essentials. Easy and clear communication with host. Lovely touches such as a welcome bottle of wine and water. No lift, the stairs easy to navigate.

Perfect 2 nights in Porto

Location, location, location. We were easily able to access everything, and we were able to park either in front, or in the very affordable parking lot at the bottom of the street. It was very comfortable for 4 of us friends, and Celine was a great communicator. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!!

Fabulous stay

What a lovely apartment and area. Down a narrow alley, but everything is so close. Ate at 2 of the restaurants a couple of doors down and both were fabulous! I would recommend to anyone, unless you can’t climb stairs. Fabulous place!

Great location

We had a great time in Porto .. The apartment was spacious for the four of us all adults and the location was excellent could walk to everything in the surrounding area .. Celine and Miguel were helpful and the young lady who met us at the apartment was delightful and answered all our questions .. would absolutely stay there again ..

Awful stay in Porto

We booked the 2nd floor apartment advertised a month before our visit. We arrived in the evening, found we were actually staying in 4th floor apartment. Lots of stairs, no elevator, so moving travel luggage upstairs was an issue. 4th floor apartment is smaller than 2nd floor apartment we booked. Amenities were very different than advertised. Lounge area was basically a TV console in a small under-stair alcove. Kitchen area was small. 2nd bedroom was in the attic with a sloping roof. You could not walk across the room, our guest had to crawl into bed. Main bathroom had small walk-in shower but no bath. No 2nd bathroom. In summary, the apartment did not resemble photos of the apartment advertised and booked through VRBO. The Host advised us that 2nd floor apartment was not available, and we should be pleased with the ‘cosy and quality’ 4th floor.

Not happy at all

The listing on line stated 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom. I checked and it still says that. We only booked it because of that. 4 seniors with 1 bathroom caused us great inconvenience.

Week-end in Porto

Nancy, the host was incredibly helpful. We were a couple and a friend visiting porto. Our friend arrived first past midnight and Nancy made sure the check-in was made securely. She reached out a few times to ask if we needed anything, which we appreciated. Outstanding location, the appartement is very well situated in the center of Porto. We rented the 4th floor and thought it was really quiet during the night. I would recommend this listing to any two couples or group of 4 friends that want to have a great stay in Porto.

Excellent location

Wonderful location and some fab restaurants nearby. Everything was perfect only problems were I didn’t realise the second bedroom did not have an outside window, only a window opening to adjoining bedroom. There was a distinct smell in bedroom 2 but not totally unpleasant. No internet at all in the second evening. But this was not really a problem either as it was 9pm when we lost it.

Excellent location and value

Turn onto the apartment street and it looks rundown. Wait. This apartment is brand new inside. Others are being renovated. 5 minute walk to the river with views and restaurants and music. 2 minute walk in the other direction to plaza, wide street and 15+ restaurants with out door restaurants. Total beyond expectations. Miguel met us, gave us many tips of things to do and recommend driver to the Douro Valley that was the best.We would go back in a second.

Perfect location!

Great welcome when we arrived! Well stocked apartment. Lovely, quiet space in a great location which we enjoyed very much. It could use a decorator's touch to warm it up a bit.
