New to NoPo

I really enjoyed staying in this cute little place and in this part of Portland! Scott has made excellent use of every inch of space here and made it easy to compost and recycle nearly everything. I loved the funky decor and the little private patio outside my door, and the shower was great. Half a block from Alberta St and close to endless options for dining, it was a great location. Traveling alone and slightly disabled, I’m always concerned about accessibility and my safety, but had no concerns here. Scott was so kind and even helped me unload and reload my luggage and medical equipment into my car! He texted once to ask how my stay was and asked if I needed anything, and encouraged me to contact him if I did. Thanks again, Scott! You are a nice human!

Purple haze

Very cute property conveniently located to where we have family. Walkable neighborhood. Short walk to the newly James Beard award winning patisserie JinJu and a corner wine/liquor store.Scott was a very attentive host and provided a plethora of info. Would def stay again.

Great location

We enjoyed our stay at the eco suite. Comfortable bed, cute outdoor space, and great location. If you are planning to do much cooking be aware it’s not set up for that, and doing dishes in the bathroom sink is a bit awkward. There are tons of places to eat nearby so that wasn’t an issue for us.

Quiet get away in great location

This little place has everything you need for a quiet get away in beautiful comfort. The owner is a wonderful communicator. Parking on the street is easy. It’s perfectly situated near all my favorite neighborhoods and, if you’re up for a walk, a great place to go by foot! We enjoyed a concert on Mississippi, and just wish we had time to enjoy the patio more! Oh, the pressure in the shower was heavenly!

Great stay!

We stayed in the private suite for 6 nights while visiting friends in the area. Scott was so communicative, and huge kudos for his detailed instructions for arrival and check in (including photos as you walk in the property!) He’s really thought of everything for guests, it’s extremely clean, and the property has everything we needed and more. It rained for much of our stay so we didn’t get to enjoy the patio, but I definitely plan to try and stay again when visiting this summer. It’s a gem, and Scott really has one of the best STRs I’ve stayed at because of how he hosts. I’ve already recommended to friends who will be visiting PDX in a few months.

Great Stay At The Eco House

My wife and I wanted a quiet get away for our 15 year anniversary, so we decided on Portland and we picked the perfect place to stay. The Eco House was in a great neighborhood of Hawthorne, close to many great local bars and restaurants. We felt safe and Scott was a great host with great communication. The location waa great and although we had a car, one is not necessary to enjoy the neighborhood.We gained a new respect for recycling and how we categorize our waste Portland was great, the Eco House was clean, inviting, and had everything we needed for this couples anniversary getaway. We would stay w Scott again. Thank you for the perfect accommodations. Carmen

Traditional Portland Stay

We loved these accommodations. The bed and room were very comfortable, very easy to heat, if needed. Bathroom was pretty spacious and modern. We didn't use the fire pit but the outdoor space was great for slow coffee mornings. Scott, the host, had excellent communication and made everything very easy through the use of the guide. The location is great as well, walking distance for food and coffee. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay and experience! Thank you, Scott!

Lovely stay in a very clean safe space! I was traveling by myself and I felt really at ease knowing that I could contact the owner with any questions and he responded promptly. Pleasant stay in NE Portland

Spent five comfortable nights at Portland Eco House Cottage. Walked everywhere or used Uber. Delighted with cleanliness, everything I needed for my stay was at hand. Cottage is just as described by Scott, my host. Scott was available when I had questions. So many good restaurants in the area, I tried many of the suggestions In the handbook.

Small but mighty

Great location, cute and VERY clean. It is small, but perfect if you just need a place to relax and sleep. The bathroom is quite large which was a nice surprise. Host is on the property which is helpful if you have a question. Would highly recommend.

In town for a wedding

My wife and I were only in town for a couple days for a wedding and loved the Patio Suite. Very clean, very nice. Close to some very cool restaurants, highways and the airport. Scott was very attentive and checked on us throughout our stay to make sure we had all we needed. Perfect for a couple looking to get away and explore Portland. Thank you Scott for everything!

Quaint & Cozy

The property is beautiful and there is thoughtfulness put into all the details. Eco-friendly from top to bottom! Scott made sure to have everything I could possibly need and checked in with me during my stay to ask if anything was missing. Location was convenient and area was quiet. The outdoor area was beautiful and a lovely touch.
