Very interesting house. You walk through one bedroom to get to another. Then in another bedroom, there is an open door with a curtain into another bedroom. There are two bathrooms upstairs, which is fine. None of the bedrooms upstairs have televisions. The downstairs master bedroom is amazing. It was a plumbing issue in the bathtub that the shower part could not be turned off. A few of the shades in the bedroom would not go up. Generally well cleaned. The house is full of antiques. I did not like the Vacasa VACASA Wi-Fi, which meant I could not use my Roku in general. It was a very nice house and we might stay there again.

Big house. Nice neighborhood. Convenient location to the downtown. Very interesting and opulent decor. Could do better with cleaning (dusty lamps and clothes left by previous visitors in the room, upstairs AC not working etc), but overall we enjoyed the place.

It was just perfect for us

We absolutely adored our time at this home. It was so spacious and we had plenty of room for the 8 of us. The home was perfect for children and all of us adults. My favorite may be the lily pond with lotus flowers and the incredible yellow flowers growing through the pavers that surrounded it. We arranged for a professional photographer to shoot us on the grounds and made great use of the wonderfully stocked kitchen while we were there. If we return to Kennebunkport next year this will be the place we pick. Five stars all around!

We were excited to stay at "Grandeur on the Green", expecting a clean, luxurious home for quality family time. Sadly, the reality fell far short. Upon arrival, the garage was cluttered with trash and personal items, and inside, the kitchen was dirty with foul-smelling flowers, sticky surfaces, and unusable cookware. We had to handwash everything and buy our own pots and supplies due to unsafe and heavily scratched Teflon pans.The outdoor space was neglected—dirty cushions, mismatched furniture, and indoor items used outside. The grill was rusted, and when someone eventually came to "clean," they leaf-blowed the patio and wiped cushions with the same filthy ones—no real effort made.Upstairs, the AC barely worked (stuck at 76F), and despite the house size, only six towels were provided. When we requested more, we were told someone would respond during limited weekday hours—unacceptable for a premium rental. No extra towels were found, only a garbage bag of mattress pads and a used bathrobe, disgusting.The house itself is beautifully furnished and fine art everywhere, but poorly maintained & managed. Vacasa’s lack of accountability and minimal support was disappointing. We expected much more for the price. Owners should seriously reconsider how their property is being managed.

Great location and beautiful landscaping

The house was spacious and the kitchen area was nice equipped. Throughout the home, the furnishings were very dated. The outdoor furniture was dirty and moldy which was disappointing since the outdoor space had great potential to enjoy had it been clean. The upstairs a/c did not work well and the unit dripped water from a vent onto a bed. While we reported the problem, no one came to the property to resolve the problem.

Beautiful, Quiet, and Spacious

This is a beautiful home in a beautiful neighborhood. It’s very close to Kinnebunkport but you would still probably want to drive because the road is fairly busy. The house is spacious and has a pretty outside area. It does have a lot of furniture so some of the rooms are a little tight. Our friends who stayed upstairs got pretty warm because the AC wasn’t keeping up well with the unseasonably hot weather. They do have several box fans in the house, though.

Short changed and duped

I rented the home in December 2021 as it was listed and virtual tour showed 5 bedrooms, eight months later after I paid the balance due without any refund- I was told that the fifth bedroom was no longer allowed to be rented due to a new HOA regulation. I reached out and let VACASA know who was managing the property we needed the fifth bedroom and since I had rented it so far in advance I should be able to use that bedroom and as a second layer if I was not able to use the fifth bedroom I should be compensated for that as the fee for the nightly rent was for a five bedroom home . I received conflicting communication from Vacasa. I received an email on August 1st confirming the use of the 5th bedroom, I arrived at the property and the bedroom was locked- I called the number given to me and was told someone would call me and let me know when they would b there to unlock the 5th bedroom door. No one showed up but received a call that the bedroom could not be used thus we had to have a couple sleep on the couches. I was not compensated any money for the loss of the use of the bedroom. Also I had put some storage boxes and bags in the garage and went to dinner and someone entered the home and took them. As were in town for a wedding I needed the materials left there to organize my packing, I reached out again to VACASA to find out who entered the property and took my belongings and never heard from them! I have rented from VRBO before and had a great experience- but never again if VACASA is involved. Unfortunately this situation caused some friction amongst family members as we had to decide who was sleeping on the couches. As for the house- location was great- beds we had were comfortable- upstairs could use better access to air conditioning and they definitely need coffee cups not enough for the guests ! The back deck was lovely as was the frog pond but the deck furniture and tables had not been cleaned thus we had to clean it!!

Monster Rental

This huge house was perfect for a vacation with my wife's family. The place was so big you had no trouble finding a quiet space to be alone or conversely gathering the whole group together for meals and still not feeling crowded. The grandchildren had an absolute riot catching the bullfrogs in the pond out back. Location was very quiet and close to town. I would definitely recommend this house to any large group looking for a nice place from which to enjoy Kennebunkport and all it has to offer.

Kennebunkport home away from home

Our family of 11 get-together was easily accommodated by this well-apportioned, spacious house located less than two miles from Kennebunkport. Tons of space for just hanging out and chilling. The outdoor seating area was an bonus in Addis to being private. Plenty of parking.

Nice property but instructions & description are inaccurate

The property is overall pretty nice so this rating would be much higher, but our experience was negatively impacted by the incorrect instructions. The location of the 2nd lock box is incorrectly described and when we reported that a group of us waited 2 hours late at night because the supposed lock code didn't open the 2nd lock box, we were not compensated in any way.

Beautiful House

This house is beautiful and spacious. It is also clean and comes with all necessary amenities. The kitchen has all the nenessarry tools for cooking and entertaining. I recommend this house for large groups, had a great stay!

Perfect location!

The location of this house makes it so easy to travel to/from the center of Kennebunkport. We easily fit 10 ladies, everyone having a bed to sleep in, but the house itself smelled like cat urine in areas, and the lighting was very difficult to work. Good for a quick weekend getaway, but I recommend a deep clean for the next guests!

Home that has it all!

I spend 2-nights in Kennebunkport for a girls' weekend and this home really had it all. It was clean, spacious, comfortable, great kitchen, beautifully landscaped yard and patios, close to town... I could go on and on! The whole group really enjoyed our stay here. I definitely recommend to others!

It's was a very nice home. It was a little dirty needs a thorough cleaning.

We ended up waging a lot of the dishes we used. The inside of the cupboards need to be cleaned. Some of us got bit by bugs that were inside the bed.

Unique. A great gathering house for family!

The kitchen was made for entertaining! With plenty of room for people inside or out if the weather is nice, which it was for us! We had a wonderful time and were very grateful to find a place big enough so the family could all be together! Loved it!

We want to stay again!

Our family stayed for an extended weekend and enjoyed the great living room/kitchen open space for family time. The space was more than enough for 3 families with little and big kiddos. Everyone commented how clean everything was and this is a family very particular with cleanliness. Location is 5-10 minute drive from shore and great, quaint shopping. Approx 30-40 min from shopping at Kittery! Outdoors was beautiful! Couple of things to prepare for: 1) be sure to read the "please note" in the directions as it gives you the last piece of directions to get to house because the house's driveway is not on river road. you need to take a left on Brookside. 2) may want to consider bringing your own DVDs/ Blu ray as the one there wouldn't play sound, 3) be prepared to have to move a lot of the decorative pieces like place settings, big heavy center pieces and other pieces as well as pillows, to get them out of the way. Overall a great place though for some family downtime and we would stay again!
