Wonderful cozy cottage

This cottage is very cute. Everything worked perfectly and was just as expected. The description and details were very accurate. Two of us stayed here and it was just what we wanted.Yes, the bathroom is tiny but we knew that already, as explained in the description, and it is very well organized. The shower is FABULOUS and not too small at all.We would definitely stay here again. Thanks Scott!

Lovely quick trip

Had an overnight in Portland to see some friends, this was an easy stop in a great location (central to some great food and things to do, easy to get to). My travel buddy couldn't make it but I felt safe by myself; would've been totally fine and comfortable with another person even in the small space. Scott gave lots of detailed instructions and was super communicative. Added bonus: it rained overnight and it sounded lovely on the roof!

Sweet little place in Portland.

I loved my stay at the Eco Cottage in Portland! The host Scott was easy to communicate with and pictures attached to a check in are always a bonus. The place itself was just perfect, on a quiet street, just adorable inside and out with a nice patio area out front. I had everything I needed and the host even offered to supply more items mid stay if needed. All in all just delightful.

Perfect solo getaway spot

The Portland EcoHouse Patio Cottage was the perfect place for a little solo getaway and mom-vacation! The cottage was clean, quiet, was nicely decorated and had all the things you could need for a little retreat. The host, Scott was very friendly, helpful and quickly responded to any inquiries or questions I had. He had several resources to help me explore Portland for the first time and find a way to get to the Columbia River Gorge (30 min away) to see the waterfalls even though I didn't have a car. The location is great with some of Portland's best places to eat within less than 2 miles from the front door. I really enjoyed sitting on the patio in the evenings sitting by the fire pit while reading a good book. The location was quiet and there were no strong fragrances within the home (if you are sensitive to smells like me, this is a huge help!). I also loved all the little eco friendly touches within the home. As a single woman in an unfamiliar city, I felt very safe during my stay. It's the perfect spot in a nice neighborhood to explore the culture and best Portland has to offer.

Nice Place to Stay

The Eco cottage was a great place to stay while in Portland. It was within walking distance to many shops and places to eat and was a close drive to all of the “must dos” in Portland. The host was very accommodating and the place was very well kept and clean. The cottage is a bit more compact than we thought but still worked great for me and my husband, you also do have to walk through a gate into a back yard to access the place. Overall, a great place for our 3 day stint in Portland.

Quiet Cottage Rental in Lovely Neighborhood

This rental is just as described and even better than I expected! The cottage was super clean and well appointed. Scott was a super host, attentive to details during my stay. I appreciated the quiet off-street location, the surrounding neighborhood and walking proximity to restaurants, stores and public transportation. Delightful little home in a great part of Portland

I am no stranger to short stay rentals in Portland, as I'm in and out for work alone. This Cottage is easily my favorite! Scott is a fabulous host, the little house is immaculately laid out with everything I could need to both work and enjoy Portland. Street parking was easy, the location is in a great neighborhood and easy to get anywhere in town. I can't say enough good things about Scott, this perfectly designed and executed little home, and the experience I had at this cottage. Thanks, Scott

Fantastic!

We loved our stay at Scott’s place. Scott was an incredibly responsive host. The place is as described, but full of many nice touches that show all the extra love and care here. Though small, the space is laid out very efficiently and has everything you might need. Scott even made a lovely book with info on the house. The patio is adorable, and the location served us really well. Street parking was easy to find. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Portland stay

My wife and I visited for the SCA Coffee Expo. Scott’s accommodation was just what we needed. Quiet area, lots of on street parking, and close to great food and drink. Scott’s instruction, and prompt communication made it for a seamless check-in and stay. Oh, and the bed. So so comfy! Slept like we were at home.

My dear friend and I had a lovely stay at the Patio cottage. We barely used our cars…there are so many fabulous restaurants within walking distance (I loved Gumba). Scott was a courteous and communicative host who made our stay comfortable and convenient. We will be back!
