La situación del hotel es excelente.

Las instalaciones están un poco deterioradas y necesita una renovación. A pesar de todo, la situación lo compensa casi todo.

From outside the building was very impressive and so were the grounds.The communal areas were tastefully done and spacious except for the dining areas where the tables were very close to each other so you couldn’t converse privately. The games room only had a pool table in it and not much else. There were little steps throughout the building that I am amazed no one has tripped up or down as it’s a dark hotel and you don’t always realise they are there. Our room was grubby and we were on the sixth floor that had a balcony,but when sat in the chairs we could not see the sea etc as the wall was up to eye level. The bedding,towels and bathrobes were old and worn out.The bath was very small and there were cracks in the floor tiles. The staff were very pleasant and helpful,but distant. The music played on the piano at breakfast although beautifully done was very depressing to start the day off.The entertainment was what I would expect in a 3 star hotel. There was no atmosphere here ,quite an odd feeling. The pool area was good,but worn out towels and the umbrellas were stained. We had a lovely big bed,but it had too many layers beneath and the duvet was thick making it hot to sleep in. When the wind was up it howled through the apartment very loudly There was nothing to do ,but sit on a beach which you now have to pay to hire the loungers or go into the town.One you have done that it’s boring. We caught the tour bus to Portimao which was like a concrete jungle.

Beautiful place, great location, service for breakfast buffet wasn’t that good, took for ever to get coffee...or tea...and that’s all staff had to do
