"So the mobile home situated on a lake shore in a nice, busy camp site is beautiful. Having breakfast sitting out back was wonderful. Everything was spotlessly clean and it was a great base for the State and National Parks nearby as well as close enough to Chicago. It is close to a very busy main road and so it is noisy outside. The fire pit is very cool and there is an ample supply of logs. We had absolutely no issues and the communication from the property manager was fantastic. Thank you."

"The house was generously built to accommodate our large family of 30. We were able to spread out and not feel on top of each other. Having two sinks and two dishwashers in the main kitchen was very helpful for the scale of people we were feeding. The outdoor seating was spacious and an additional bonus! Spending evenings on the deck with a fire to gather around was idyllic. We also had groups playing cards and working on puzzles. Being so close to the beach was perfect for a quick jaunt to play...

"Its such a cute community my 3 and 5 year old just loved riding their scooters around the neighborhood! Super quiet and has a cute playground! It was chilly when we came so we didnt do pool or splash pads but went to Washington Park and the zoo there and loved it ! Anders was the nicest host and lived next door if we needed anything! We will definitely be back ! "

"This place has a beautiful view over housetops of the lake. Lots of seating on two decks for the view. Plenty of parking.The house accommodated our group of 15, with spaces to eat, put together a puzzle, play board games and be in the same area. A short walk to the beach. The host answered our questions quickly before arrival. The place is older but clean. The kitchen was supplied with nice pans and basic dishes."

"The home is beautiful and well designed. The bed was ridiculously comfy. Hot tub was awesome and was great to have a little yard for my tiny pup. Close to amazing restaurants and shopping. Super easy check in and out. My dog is tiny so I put up a barrier between basement stairs and back door so she wouldn’t fall down the stairs but probably wouldn’t be a problem with larger dogs :) backyard needed to be mowed but believe it was due to my booking right after another one so not a big deal. "Overall a good stay. The location is good, and communication with the host was great!The house is older, and some aspects are not great in terms of niceness and quality - the bedrooms are very small, some doors don't shut or latch fully, no horizontal surfaces in the bathroom for toiletries, etc - stuff that is difficult to see from listing photos. Also, parking is limited - it's street parking only, and on a somewhat steep hill. Definitely want to set the parking brake and cut the wheels...
