It was simply wonderful. Absolutely beautiful view, very comfortable cottage and it’s such a quiet setting. Close to all our area activities. Our host, Peggy was very helpful with advice on local amenities and she was beyond cordial & friendly. We will return in the future!

Great cottage complete with everything you need. Super comfortable bed, small kitchen but perfect for 2. I wished there was at least 1 cupboard for food storage, but there was enough room on the counters. Wild life in every direction. Eagles, blue heron, seals, otters, deer and osprey! A very relaxing, enjoyable stay. Thank you Peggy for sharing your property.

A little piece of heaven...

From the moment we arrived, our experience was nothing short of exceptional! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need. The location was perfect—peaceful and private, yet just a short distance from great restaurants, shopping and attractions. We especially loved relaxing on the patio, enjoying breathtaking mornings and sunsets, along with the tranquil sounds of nature. Our host went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, offering helpful recommendations and checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. We can’t recommend this place highly enough! We’re already looking forward to our next visit.

The best place in Port Ludlow

The view is so good and the access to the water is easy. The cottage is well appointment and very comfortable. Peggy, the hostess, is very nice and a pleasure to talk with. We would be very happy to stay here anytime.

Wonderful relaxing place to stay

We celebrated our 32nd anniversary here. The cottage was cozy and romantic. The surrounding yard is beautiful with plants and flowers all around. There are huge trees as well and we saw 2 bald eagles a couple times. Very comfortable bed and couch for watching movies on the huge flat-screen. We walked the beach and sat morning and evening on the deck just enjoying the amazing views. There is a bbq on the deck and some reclining chairs with a firepit so sitting outside in the evenings was cozy. The location is great for heading into Pt. Ludlow or driving a short distance to Pt. Townsend. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it! Peggy is an awesome host. She is responsive if we needed anything and makes sure to give us privacy.

Wonderful stay!

Home was easy to locate and get into. It was clean, bright, and alwxacrly as advertised. Bed was very comfortable for both my partner and me (both larger people); view was incredible and water access incredibly easy. The owners home facing the cottage had stained glass coverings on the windows, giving us privacy as we ate on the deck. Had all kitchen appliances and needs as well. 10/10, highly reccome d.

The cottage lived up to its expectations! I will definitely come back. Secluded and quiet. The driveway could use some gravel because it was quite muddy. Other than that it was a perfect retreat.

Perfect in every way

Stayed here to escape the chaos of Christmas. It was beautiful and relaxing. Even though it rained - a lot - the large windows overlooking the water made it all better. Plus the free youtubetv meant we could watch football on Christmas like every good American ;-)

Gorgeous, relaxing stay

My spouse and i stayed for a weekend as a wedding anniversary get away weekend, and we couldnt have asked for more. The house is a perfect size for two people and the view was to die for. Quiet, clean, well stocked and uterly relaxing. The views for sunrise were amazing. Highly highly recommend.

Idyllic Beach Cottage in Port Ludlow

If you're looking for the perfect place for a romantic getaway, or you just want a jumping off point for the Olympic Peninsula, this lovely beach cottage is an ideal choice. An expansive deck offers beautiful water views, although you can meander down the trail and put your feet in the water within a couple of minutes. It also offers a fire table, bbq, and table with comfy chairs. The cottage is beautifully appointed with everything you need, so if your goal is to simply enjoy the quiet, you'll never need to leave! The bed and pillows were super comfy and the living room was furnished with great seating for lounging around, reading, or watching TV. We enjoyed the nightly barking and growling of the seals out on the rocks, the croaking of a frog that seemed to start each night at 5pm and finish his show by 5:30p. We even saw a sea otter swim by! Our host Peggy walked up right as we were unloading our suitcases, gave us the kind of advice you only get from a local, and then, was invisible for the rest of our stay. We'd highly recommend this cottage to anyone, and hope to stay again sometime in the future!

Welcoming cottage with a fantastic view

The cottage was very homey and a comfortable space for two people. The location was peaceful and very quiet with a great view of the water and mountains in the background. The sunrise in the morning was spectacular and different each day. Lots of wildlife to see as well. Peggy lives on the same property but did not intrude on our time there. She messaged us to welcome us and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, we had a wonderful and much needed restful time. Thank you for your hospitality!
