Newly remodeled after the hurricane with brand new flooring! Brand new open, modern gourmet kitchen with farm sink, new refrigerator/freezer, range/stove, and dishwasher. See the ocean and pool (shared by 6 houses)from the family room, or sit out on the huge front porch with Adirondack chairs. Also, there is a new 55" flat screen tv and an
in-cabinet electric fireplace for those cool, romantic nights. There are two master bedrooms with king-sized beds and private baths. All pictures were taken May 2024. Monthly discounts don't apply from May thru October.

The Chunky Monkey also has its own private outside shower and bathroom and two separate places to rinse the sugar-white sand off your feet (1st & 2nd floor). Clean your fish on an outside table with its own water supply on the other side of the carport. Kids love to clean up in the open-air shower and run into the house clean!

Walk into the front door to a bright, spacious great room with a well-stocked kitchen (K-cup Friendly coffee maker), open to two dining areas and a living room with a 55" flat-screen TV to watch your favorite Netflix obsession. There are 2 tables to keep puzzles out, play card games, or seat 14 for an epic dinner party! Surf the web on our WIFI network or enjoy a smart TV in every bedroom. There is also an extra full-sized refrigerator downstairs for all your party supplies! A gas grill is available for your cookouts.

On the first floor, there are two bedrooms: A KING-size bed in one room with 10" plush memory foam mattress. a sizable hall bath; and a kids' bunk room with 2 sets of bunk beds. A recent addition to the "Kids Room" are 2 sets of bunk beds, all with double memory foam mattresses....6" memory foam top bunk, and an 8" memory foam so the room can accommodate adults as well as kids. There are new black-out curtains in all the bedrooms so while on vacation you can enjoy sleeping particularly the little ones. My daughter's little ones slept an hour longer every morning so she was thrilled!!

On the second floor, you will find the master suite with a huge private balcony, KING-size bed, pillow-top mattress, HUGE walk-in closet, and private en-suite bath with double sinks, separate shower, and jacuzzi tub for 2. A Walk-in closet could even be a bedroom for young kids.

There is a second bright bedroom on the second floor with a KING-size bed, pillow-top mattress, office desk and chair, ceiling fan, large closet, and en-suite bath.

The 3rd floor has an "eagles nest" viewing balcony where you can have wine or cocktails and enjoy the beautiful view.

Scallop Cove/General Store is only a few steps away right across the street! They have everything--clothes, gifts, hot food, bike rentals, video games, gas, fishing equipment, licenses & bait. My kids make 2-3 trips a day for hand-scooped ice cream, candy, you name it! I too find it convenient for that one little thing I forgot to get at the store. Also right across the street is Beach Planet where you can pick up an extra swimsuit, CSB gifts and resort wear.

Discover the serenity of a family vacation in "old" Florida. There are no HIGHRISES on Cape San Blas so the beach is empty compared to Destin or PCB. Get out of the rat race and go back in time...a slower time. Bring your paddleboard or kayak, or you can rent one right across the street. Be with nature on the long walking trail that takes you to the state park at the end of the cape where the ocean and bay unite--on the list of one of the best beaches in the world.

If you get up early enough you might just see the tracks of female Giant Sea Turtle as she makes her way up the beach to lay eggs and then returns to the sea. Or hunt for that perfect shell as you stroll on the beach in the early morning breeze with your coffee in hand. The dolphins might just follow you as you walk along the beach. They love to frolic early in the morning.

Lounge under an umbrella while the kids build sandcastles and swim in the surf. Bring your fishing rods and catch your dinner...the whiting and red snapper are great. Sip your wine and watch the sunset from any of the 3 decks. Take the kids out "crab spotting" at night for a fun time they will never forget. Make snow angels in the sand under the incredible Milky Way at night. You can see more stars than you have ever dreamed of seeing. Build bonfires, roast marshmallows, and make yummy smores. Be sure to go scalloping down at St. Joe Park in July. It is only a mile or two away. Discover this special oasis and make it an annual trip with your family. During the Summer (May 15-Sept15) the house rents from Saturday to Saturday. During the rest of the year, there is a 4 night minimum stay.
