Seabiscuit was clean and ready for us when we arrived. We found the pictures and descriptions of the property to be accurate. There is still a direct view of the ocean and beach, though that may (will) change with future construction. Mexico beach and the surrounding areas are both beautiful and charming. Our trip was planned after school started but before the Labor Day weekend. Often there was no one within 50 yards of us on the beach. Just what the doctor ordered. Rest and relaxation. We like to cook on our vacations and Seabiscuit generally had what we needed to do so. Pots and pans are mixed bag of mismatched cookware but that's normal in rental properties. It does have two things many properties do not. A stockpot and colander. I've gotten so used to these essentials being missing from various properties over the years I usually pack my own. There is a lot of Pyrex in a variety of sizes. I like the gas range. I gave the property a five star overall rating and I stand by that. Two things do need attention in my opinion. The blue sofa is worn out and needs to be replaced. It’s uncomfortable to sit on. The back bedrooms need drapes. The blinds cannot keep the early morning sun out of those two rooms. Both of these are easy fixes that can be taken care of quickly and with minimal expense. We greatly enjoyed our stay at Seabiscuit and cannot wait to return.

We had a great stay! The condo was decorated nice & modern, and the perfect size for our family of 5. The view was perfect and super close walk to the beach. We appreciated the beach essentials to make up for what we couldnt fit on our travels (extra chairs & sand toys). There was one towel and fitted sheet with a stain on them, and we wish since there were 2 trash cans that the replacement bags so kindly left wouldve been two as well. Those things were very miniscule compared to the wonderful stay we had.

Fun getaway

We loved Mexico Beach and SeaBiscuit was the perfect place for us to stay. Beautiful view and super close to the beach. It was very clean and nicely decorated. The bunk room is rather small but fine if you just need a place to sleep. Other bedrooms and bathrooms were nice. Kitchen/Living area was open with a great view! We had a great time and would love to go back!

Great Location

What a great place. A few steps from the beach, beautifully decorated and gorgeous rooms. Be aware that the area surrounding flips from CST to EST (Port St. Joe) I would definitely stay there again

Perfect location on the beach

I truly enjoyed the stay. The proximity to the beach was convenient/great. I would recommend bringing all of your kitchen specifics. I had to purchase a knife and a few other small things, but otherwise kitchen was stocked. The property was clean and quiet.

Nice Stay!

The house is new and very nice. A few things to note: the bunk room is very small as in the bunk beds are the only things that fit, so not really a room. The kitchen is nice but not well stocked. You need to bring everything with you such as salt and pepper and maybe your own knives as the ones they have are so cheap they barely cut anything. No baking sheet, pot holders, etc. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and the house was mostly as described.

Steps From The Sand!

Excellent location, just steps from the beach, and a short walk to shops & eateries. The accommodations were great (there was no iron/ironing board and no coffee pods for the coffee bar & kitchen coffee makers though). The private en-suite balcony was perfect for watching the Sun rise/set… Mexico Beach is the quaint beach town to relax! Will for sure visit again, soon!

Relaxing beach stay

Beach trip 2023

It was one of the best places we have stayed at the beach. Everything was very clean. Short walk to the beach. The beach wagon and chairs provided were very nice to have as well! Can’t wait to come back!

Perfect vacation stay!

We had the most perfect trip to Mexico Beach! This property was immaculate and was the perfect size for our family of 4. Getting to the beach from the house has never been easier. It was literally just steps to get there, and the beach was nice and quiet. The house had everything that we needed, and all of the beds were very comfortable. I have nothing but positive things to say about our stay. We will book this same house for our next beach trip!

Beautiful Beach! Beautiful House! Beautiful Vacation!

This was our first trip to Mexico Beach! I absolutely loved the quiet beach and laid-back atmosphere. We learned it is called Mayberry On the Coast and we can now see why. The house was wonderful with beautiful furnishings! I felt like the host went above and beyond including small amenities that I often forget to bring on a trip - like hand soap in all the bathrooms, a roll of paper towels, and a couple kitchen garbage bags to get you started. It was those small items and attention to detail that will definitely have me wanting to rent here again.
