We stayed at "It Is Well" during fall break (Sept 21-27) and it was everything the listing said it would be! The house was very clean and organized well. It was perfect for our family of 4! The location to the beach was amazing and having the small pool for the kids was perfect! We will definitely be back again!

Wonderful week with family

“It is well” was a beautifully laid out and clean property. You can tell the owner has put time and effort in making sure every guest is cared for. Pros:- exceptionally clean- spacious kitchen- full size laundry room with food storage- extra beach towels- extra beach chairs- easy beach access- comforting and peaceful atmosphere Cons:- Road noise from Cape San Blas Rd.- Pool was nice to have but is not large. It is more of a soaking pool, not for swimming. Two adults and two small children fill the pool.- Limited “take out” options in town- Hurricane Michael eroded the beach and stumps are exposed in many areas. Overall, this was a great trip and a beautiful house. The state park was also great with white sand beaches and wading opportunities for kids to find sand dollars. I would definitely recommend.Thank you!

Spring Break

The house was so clean! And I loved the extra touches like beach towels, shampoo/conditioner, soap, beach chairs. There was even laundry detergent, trash bags, dish soap, etc.. This makes traveling to the beach so much easier. Thank you for that. We will definitely be back!

Beach trip with the family

The house is great, very clean, plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms for a family of 4 to not get in each others way. We were all very impressed with how clean the house was. The pool and deck were great places to hang out during rain showers or simply taking some downtime. The only drawback I would have is the beach area location. If all you want to do is fish it’s great. If you love to be in the water there are a lot of stumps in the area. We drove to the state park and one of the public beach access points which were both great. The only drawback I have are the beach area

It is Well!!!!

It is well with us after spending this wonderful week in your home. Everything we needed!!! Suggestion comment install a baby gate or something at top of stairs. Highly recommended

Fall Break Success

Our stay at “It Is Well” was wonderful! The house, pool and short walk to the beach were just what the doctor ordered. The house was beautiful, well-stocked and spacious. We will definitely be back!

Great low key vacay

We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation at this property. The only thing that wasn’t disclosed through pictures were the numerous stumps on the beach and in the water. They were a slight hazard when the water was murky. There was a constant worry my kiddos would boogie board into them and get hurt, so they had to move further down the beach. Also, this section of the beach gets a little crowded due to public access being a short distance away. Not a problem if you’re used to more people on the beach, but maybe not as secluded as other areas of Cape San Blas. However, aside from those outside factors regarding the beach, the house was absolutely wonderful!

Fantastic Trip #3

This was our 3rd time to Cape San Blas. But it was our first in this home. Overall this was a great home & location. PROs: -The home is very new and clean. -Yes the home sits on stilts - they all should in this area. Other than the stairs to enter the home, it was nice everything was on one level. -The porch is huge & amazing to sit on to watch the sunset. -Location is great because it isn’t crowded & it is close to the Stumphole area. -The home has plenty for entertainment for when the occasional Florida rain shower shows up. They have complete board games and a TV in each room. -The private pool is a nice luxury after a long day at the beach or a hike. At night, you can turn on a switch to light it up. -Outdoor storage was nice to put sandy items. -They did provide a lot of floats, wake boards, etc. -The outdoor shower and toilet were amazing to have! CONs: -The kitchen does need some new pots, pans & baking sheets. -While the pool is very nice and new, the picture is misleading. It is very small. Good for 2 people to float around. -The house was clean but we did find lots of long, dark brown hair in the main shower. None in our group has that hair type & it was found before anyone used the bathroom. -The shampoo & conditioner provided are in large, family size containers. While thoughtful, any traveler knows not to use those because you don’t know what could be in them. -The pathway to the beach needs 3-4 more steps. It has a 3 foot drop off.

Best vacation ever

This is a great property to stay at. This is a family friendly house with plenty of beach gear to choose from for use. The lack of cabinets in the kitchen for storage was lacking but we made do. The pool was also very small. Those were the only two things that we had an issue with. Overall we had the best vacation here and would stay here again.

The property was great for our visit with family. The only thing I wish could have been different was that the pool could have been heated. Also was small more like a hot tub, not like pictured.
