Great location!

Overall we had a fantastic time. The location was ideal!! Couldn’t have been better. The pool was awesome as well. The house was a little on the dirty side. We had to wash any dish that we used due to residue/food left behind. I do believe that was from the dish washer, it’s terrible! The house was nice and cool, large rooms and very comfortable. There was an issue with some bugs but we purchased some spray. The decks were also great. Overall, we had a great time!! Really enjoyed ourselves and the rental. I would recommend to rent! The positive’s definitely out weigh the negatives. We go back in a heartbeat ❤️

Wanted to love this place…

If location (meaning absolutely right on the beach) means everything to you, then this place certainly has that to offer. The view is spectacular and the beach was just beautiful. Having said that, the house is one step away from that amazingly special getaway that you can’t believe everyone doesn’t know about. And yet it isn’t… For the price point (nearly three times what other properties ask), I expected more. Likely due to the price, I wouldn’t expect that this property is fully utilized. As such, it needed a thorough going over from a cleanliness standpoint. It is well appointed, but I believe the photos are quite dated. The house and furniture (primarily outdoors) show the wear of use, years and hurricanes. There was a leak in the first floor ceiling over one of the sliding doors, but I could not reach maintenance at the phone number provided. We did stop at the office on the way out however the next morning. The bed on the third floor master makes a significant amount of noise anytime you move, so sleeping was a bit of a chore. The refrigerator needs to be leveled as it vibrates a great deal. The noise from the neighbors pool equipment was significant as well. The pool was beautiful and a definite plus. The enclosure needs some attention at the doors as they stuck quite a bit, and we were surprised one morning when the pool maintenance folks showed up on our first day unannounced. Summed up…a lot of money for what this place has become. Lovely spot though…

BEAUTIFUL BEACH-COUPLE OF ISSUES

Code to enter property was not correct-luckily a side door was not locked. Trash cans were full when we got there on Sunday. Neighbors were very loud on Friday night up until midnight.

Unresponsive management

We stayed here for the week between Christmas and New Years. We arrived on the 26th and realized the wifi did not work, which was a huge issue since my husband had to work from home starting the next day. We followed all the reboot instructions a few times with no luck and then sent an email (Sunday evening) to the management. No response by the.next day so I sent another email in the morning and called several times. I spoke with several members of the call service. At this point the critical issue was the wifi, but there were several other issues as well - the main floor a/c was not working - only the upper and lower levels, one of the bunks beds had sand in it, so had obviously not been changed, also the water filter in the fridge was overdue for a change by over 90 days. I called and got the answering service several times and left messages since wifi was a “non-emergency” and the offices were closed. I also sent a message through the property website outlining the issues. The wifi started worked after 24 hours and was intermittent the rest of the time .We never received any call, email or any acknowledgement of any kind from management. The a/c issue was manageable during the day with temps around 74-78 if doors on both sides of house were open , but not comfortable at night for bedroom on that level. The house is lovely and in a beautiful spot on the beach. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is nice. The decks are wonderful and ideal for watching sunsets. The biggest issue was the unresponsive management. If promised wifi and planning to do any remote work, wifi should be made available. A/C is also a pretty big issue when it’s warm and damp. The water filter is not a huge issue, but someone must have noticed if it’s been longer than 99 days past due for a change. Also, the sandy bed sheets are disconcerting. It really makes you wonder how many other sheets may not have been changed but don’t have sand to show for it. I understand it’s the holiday season, but it’s completely irresponsible to not acknowledge or respond to any issues at all for an entire week!
