We had a wonderful stay at this St. Joe Beach home. The location is absolutely perfect — right on the Gulf with beautiful views, easy beach access, and plenty of space for everyone to relax. The house was clean, well-appointed, and thoughtfully set up for a comfortable stay, whether you’re cooking, gathering as a group, or just enjoying the deck and sunsets. It exceeded our expectations in every way. St. Joe Beach itself is quiet, uncrowded, and ideal if you’re looking for a peaceful, family-friendly getaway. We loved how easy it was to unwind here — morning coffee overlooking the water, long beach walks, and evenings listening to the waves. Communication was smooth, check-in was easy, and everything was exactly as described.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, stress-free beach escape.

Cannot say enough good things about this house. We had a large group and lots of kids and it was just perfect. A couple issues that we had were immediately addressed by the host and we are already talking about coming back and staying in the house for our next big get together.

Property was great! Matched description on VRBO site. House was clean, well maintained and stocked with starter essentials. Beach front property was beautiful and clean. Port St Joe area has an old florida vibe and is less developed than Panama City. Pool was well maintained and clean, but be aware its rather small. Be aware that Hwy 98 runs right behind house and can make parking challenging depending on traffic, and the road noise is audible in some rooms. They did provide white noise devices in some bedrooms to counter the noise, which i found thoughtful. Definitely recommend staying here. One downside, which has nothing to do with this house, if you need catering, do not use CateringConnections. Very negative experience and poorly run business.

Best beach house ever for larger families! So much room. Bathrooms inside the bedrooms. Kitchen on every level. Main kitchen on the 2nd floor that we cooked in every day and night. Washer and dryer on each level. Living space on each level. Private pool and outdoor shower are so fabulous. We used every inch of this great house the entire week. This is our second year in Soulshine for beach week with our family. So fun and every convenience has been thought about. Thank you so much!

Wonderful upscale beach home

This is a well stocked, upscale beach home. Family of 20 was there for Christmas and enjoyed our stay and the amenities (heated pool, bar with ice maker, laundry on every floor, beach towels provided, multiple kitchens,2 dishwashers, elevator, beach and pool toys, and grills). I would suggest baby gates if you bring young kids but everything else was perfect for a large group. Plenty of outdoor seating and space so everyone could have quiet time if they wanted it. Highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed.

Great house! The house has lots of room for several families!

The house was clean and very well appointed. There were three floors. All the bedrooms except for two had ocean front views and all had private bathrooms. Short walk to a private beach. Quiet peaceful area. There are 3 washer:dryer units. Elevator was helpful for luggage and groceries. Great place! We would have certainly gone back but it is booked on our dates for next year;(

Beautiful Property

A beautiful property on a stunning beach. The main kitchen was the best stocked kitchen we've ever had the pleasure of renting. We had a few minor glitches but everything was handled quickly. We'd love to return sometime soon!

Wonderful family get-away

This house felt like a home to us! There was a welcome gift on arrival and everything was spotless! This home is decorated so unique and beautifully! Our beds were so comfy and we all enjoyed the elevator. The pool was a plus after being on the beach and getting hot and tired. It was so relaxing to get in the pool and relax and play! Our family loved the large kitchen where we had breakfast and lunch together and laughed and talked. Such a great bonding time! This property is large enough that even when you're tired, you can find a private space to rest and regroup! We loved the location and privacy of pretty much having our own beach area! All of my family members said how much fun they had and how they enjoyed their stay!

Extended Family Spring break 2024

Our family of 19 including grandparents, kids, and grandkids enjoyed a week at Soulshine. We had 5 vehicles to park without a problem. The keyless entry did not work when we arrived. I messaged the propery manager who unlocked the door remotely. It did cause a slight delay in gaining access to the house which was a little stressful because there were little ones needing to use the bathroom. Maintenance came out the next day and changed the batteries in the keypad device and we had no problem after that. Access to the beach is just a few steps away across the private boardwalk. The pool was heated, clean and well maintained. We did have an issue with the pool heat not working one day but we messaged the manager and it was fixed quickly. The bedrooms all had a TV, WIFI was reliable and mattresses were comfortable, which is huge! I have to say I've never rented a home with a better stocked main kitchen. It has everything you could posssibly need and more. There is a washer and dryer on every floor. We did not need infant furniture but there was a pack and play and highchair available in one of the bedroom closets. There was hand soap in all the bathrooms and enough toilet paper for a couple of days which was nice. There are grills out by the pool both gas and charcoal. The issues we had were minor and unpredictable. Property management was on the ball. We had a great stay here. This is a beautiful, spacious gulf front property. Highly recommend!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING

This property was PERFECT for us. We had fifteen in our group, which included my four daughters, son-in-laws, grandsons, grandparents, and great-grandparents. Each bedroom had it's own bathroom. Each floor has it's own laundry room, living room, and kitchen! The furnishings/linens were top quality. The outside furniture was excellent and all the grills were new. The outside shower made for an excellent place to store the kids pool inflatables when not being used. The elevator made it so easy for the great grandparents and helped with the luggage and groceries. Check-in and check-out couldn't be easier. We had an issue with the smoke alarm going off and the maintenance man came within the hour. We also called the answering service at 10 p.m. one night that the heater in the pool wasn't working and someone was there by 10 a.m. the next morning. The pool heater worked great the rest of the week. I HIGHLY recommend this property. By far, the best rental property we have ever stayed in! We made some great family memories.

Wonderful vacation

This property is beyond awesome. So well stocked. No need for anything Kitchen and supplies outstanding. Beds so comfortable Group of 15 adults and 3 children could not have asked for better accommodations

Annual Family Beach Trip

Our family’s 31st year at the beach; three generations; 18 family members; nothing but fun and memories. We know of plenty comparable beach homes for large parties. After a week stay here we reserved for 2024. Here is why… A kitchen, sofa, dining and TV on each floor. 7 of 9 bedrooms with TVs and beach views from their private deck; fabulous bunk room for the kids as well. A large kitchen and living area to congregate yet smaller ones when space is desired. The best amenities of all the homes we’ve stayed in the past 30 years…literally nothing overlooked. Parking, and deck and pool furniture galore. During the second week of May our nearest sunbathers were usually four blocks or more away. No six lane Destin traffic on two lane US 98. Port St Joe folks were so friendly and down home. Downside trade offs were few but as follows: needs new outdoor grill and the water was not as clear as some previous stays…but such is beach life. Already looking forward to next year. The Bacons
