Awesome place!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Generous home with all the comforts of home. Has a brief walk to the beach. The beach is never heavily crowded and is often almost empty this time of year. The lack of condos means that except for the peak weeks the beach will be pleasant. The management company responded promptly to an a/c problem it was fixed immediately. Pool was excellent! A very enjoyable stay. Thank you

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon our arrival the outside looked stunning and we were all very excited. Walking through the house it was a filthy mess. Chips on “clean” bedding, roaches, fishing out rats daily from the pool, finding scorpions throughout the house, none of the exhaust fans in the bathrooms worked so there was mold all over the ceiling, I cleaned one glass fixture on the chandelier and the difference was night and day. When trying to call we got no one. We called everyday until we finally got someone. We actually ended up leaving early because we couldn’t handle the filth anymore. We expressed our concerns but never received anything back.

Layout was great for us and our two teen girls. The pool and sitting area were perfect and got a lot of use. Also, enjoyed meals on the table on the deck. Proximity to beach and The Trading Post made the house even better. Would rent again!!!

Beautiful Beach House

My kids loved being able to swim at night with the color changing lights in the pool. The short walk to the beach, ice cream shop and Trading Post made this an extremely convenient location. We booked a fishing charter to do some bay fishing and loved it, played in the waves, ate dinner in Port St Joe, and explored the cute little Apalachicola area (about 30 min away).

A Great Summer Trip to the Beach

Very close to the ice cream shop and trading post as well as a very short walk to the beach. This is one of the first properties we have rented where the pictures actually look exactly like it does when you walk in the property. The pool was amazing to have for the kids to play in and to cool off after the beach. We loved everything about the property and location.

AAAAMAZING!

We had such an amazing stay. This house is gorgeous and we are definitely wanting to plan another stay in the future. Such an easy walk to the beach and the traiding post. We arrived on a Saturday and on Monday we noticed it was a bit cool and was going to be a cloudy week so I emailed Baytowne and asked if they could turn on the pool heater and for an additional fee they had someone out there the same day. The beach is gorgeous and not crowded at all. We met a few of the home owners near by and they were so nice. Don’t over think it and stay in the house. You won’t regret it. It is more beautiful in person.

Nice getaway

Cape San Blas and this rental house we’re great and exactly what our family were looking for on our quiet beach vacation. Heated pool was a must for us in April with some cooler temperatures. Very quick walk to the beach and very nice house, complete with Netflix. Thanks!

Updated house, private pool, close to beach

We had a fabulous stay! The house seems to have been newly updated and everything was in working order. Loved that each room had a tv, bathroom, and outdoor patio access. We loved the big kitchen table. We highly recommend this house!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: From the beginning - the presentation of the house and the demeanor of the Baytowne Crew - I felt good about my choice. The web post was inviting and enticing. My contact with the Baytowne associates was friendly and courteous. Information requested was passed quickly and accurately. FIVE STARS for the crew!!We arrived an hour before scheduled check in time. A call to Baytowne revealed that the custodial team had just finished and we were cleared for an early arrival. Big thumbs up! The house was clean inside and out. Well laid out kitchen, dining and sitting areas. Simply and tastefully decorated without the clutter and cutesy I’ve seen in some of my previous rentals on the Cape. The kitchen was reasonably equipped with all the appliances we needed. Glassware was a little sparse but the knives were sharp!! Kitchen was overall very functional. Two flights up a wide staircase to the bedrooms, which were adequately sized except the bunk room which was a little cramped (but the kids won’t complain). All bathrooms were spacious and sparkling clean. Beds were firm and very comfortable. Linen was soft and comfortable. Adequate storage. The decks on both levels were wide and inviting. Deck furniture was adequate although the second floor chairs got pushed around a little by the storm and should be replaced. This was the first time we’ve rented a place with a pool and it was a game changer. Another great place to gather and socialize and, of course, cool off. Two minute walk to the beach. (Rent a beach cart, makes that commute a breeze). The only caveat is that it’s not gulf front, but I knew that going in.

The price did not match the website, there were extra fees after we paid the deposit and we requested an early check in that was never responded to. We did get to check in earlier than the original check in, but it was still 2 hours after we arrived. The home; however, was beautiful! It was everything we excepted. It was nicely decorated and had everything we needed, as well as, beach access!

Family Beach Vacation

The house, pool, and location were great for our family! We have 3 kids and the walk to the beach was not a problem. We loved our family bike rides to get ice cream. We rented kayaks and went out in the bay and the ocean when it was calm enough. The house is as beautiful in person as it was in the pictures.

Wonderful Vacation Home

We so enjoyed our stay at Havin a Blas. The home was very clean and welcoming. The photos of the home are very true to the actual home and property. The property manager supplied us with plenty of towels and supplies to start our vacation without running to the store the first night. We all enjoyed the pool, and our little fella enjoyed playing the Monopoly Jr. game that was left in one of the bedroom closets. Everyone in the area was so friendly. What a wonderful vacation! We would certainly rent this home again and highly recommend to others!

Great home!

Very crisp and clean, and had everything we needed. Very spacious room and nicely decorated, without too much “stuff” laying around to have to watch out for. Perfect stay at perfect beach.
